    duuuude thank you for including the little details! I spent hours last week trying to find what surface temp is good to throw chicken on a pan to cook it well without sticking too bad, and you just casually threw in the 400F number I couldn't find anywhere. I love that you are so detailed in your videos, it really gives me a way deeper understanding of the science of cooking and makes me way more confident in the kitchen. (I'm pretty new to cooking and very new to carbon steel. I'm so excited to try that chipotle chicken wrap recipe! It reminds me a lot of how I used to do burritos, albeit a bit more dietary conscious which is something I especially need now. When I'm feeling lazy I'll debone a rotisserie chicken, and then marinate with a homemade chili de arbol sauce (just puree dried peppers after rehydrating with water, add apple cider vinegar, and salt to taste) before wrapping and grilling. I'll have to try your chicken recipe and put together some freezer burritos like that. I'm obsessed with chipotle chilis, adobo, and chicken so that's going to be a regular staple for me. Seriously, thank you! I'll have to make a big batch and put them in the freezer

    I'm definitely gonna try those. Since I started playing frisbee on a more professional level I started eating like crazy and I have an urge to snack all the time. Those should come in handy as I train for the U20 European Championship in August. Have a good one and thanks

    Could you do a video on different sauces to use as coating for wings? Wings are one of the easiest foods to make and having a variety of sauces means you can have such a different wing each time

    Looks great ethan! These wraps would also be really good with roasted veggies like carrots or cauliflower. Love the addition of za'atar! Just like ras el hanout it really works well with almost anything savory

    I made the first chicken wrap and was happy with it.
    I enjoyed the ease of creating the za'atar mayo; had everything except for the za'atar seasoning but found it at my local Stater Bros. It was a tasty way to enjoy chicken and veggies (lettuce, tomato).
    *I used spinach wraps.
    Trying the chipotle chicken next! Seeing as I already have the chipotles in adobo, and I grabbed more paprika and cayenne when I grabbed the za'arar yesterday.
    Thank you for these videos: healthy, easy to make, convenient ingredients (for the most part).
    You are a 💎 ❕

    May I ofer a small tip? Ditch the wax paper and use parchment paper. No wax transfer into your food and is safe for both microwave, toaster, and conventional oven

    You did inspire me to change my lunches to a mince meat based stew with a ton of vegetable in it and then i just eat with tortilla bread at work and finish the rest with a spoon. These might be the new thing cause that last one was brilliant thinking. 1 is a perfect snack between work and gym, 2-3 is a meal, so if i make 20 ind the start of the week i will have plenty in the freezer and fridge throughout the week.

    If you're prepping stuff like this and keeping an eye on your calories/macros, you absolutely have to get a big set of cookie scoops (mine go from about 2tsp to 1/2 cup). Measure out each ingredient, see what cookie scoop is best for the amount you want, and then set up a production line and get consistent portion sizes! It's so much easier than trying to weigh everything or eyeballing it. And bonus, you get to make beautiful even-sized cookies 😂

    Not sure if you read your comments, but I first was turned off by the title of this video but given how your content I watched over hours delivered so much, I gave it a try. And I have to say, it hast to be in my top 3 cooking videos. Not the recipe, but the idea and execution. It very rarely happens that I finish a video and think, this is life changing. This was that. Thanks Ethan.

    Definitely some recipes to add to the list. Just note for anyone using the lavash bread add 60 more calories because it’s 60 per serving and a serving size is half of that wrap. So it’s 120 calories just for the wrap

      @EthanChlebowski  10 месяцев назад +18

      These are mini lavash from a brand called Atoria’s - They are 60 cal per lavash, not 120!

    Good as a snack, or eat two of them as a meal on the go.
    Ethan, I appreciate your fitness-friendly meals. The internet is full of “anabolic” meals that feel like they are fake foods. I like high protein low calorie food that actually tastes like you are eating real food.
