Spectacular course. Greens seemed very tricky. Taylor got the best of you today. Sometimes it just isn’t your day Tyler. Loved your series on this trip. Didn’t miss an episode. See you on your next post. Peace.
All of those Donald Ross greens were super tricky! Stinks not to make a lot of putts. Really glad you enjoyed the videos, thanks for tuning in and thanks for the comment. 👍🏼
Yo TC Twosome ...really enjoyed the North Carolina series..thanks for taking us along ! Taylor really thumping those irons in this episode ! Nice 75 great score on that track even with the lip outs ))🙃 Lets go !💪✌
Loved the Video. Playing Mid Pines soon. Great playing by both of you. Wow alot of those greens had more break in them, than it looked. Great stuff. I really enjoyed
Have you ever played there before? If not, hopefully the video gave you a good layout before heading over, its a great golf course! Donald Ross greens are pretty wild!
@@TCTwosomeGolf Yes the video was great. You have the best videos I have seen. Loved the full course hole by hole review. Not yet, my first time is coming in the next few months, but course looked great. My Home Course is a Donald Ross Course so I cant wait
Hi Guys: Just catching up on some of your vids. Mid Pines is a great course. They host a hickory tournament every fall which attracts about 100 players from all over the US and some Canadians. Unfortunately I don't go anymore, travel is expensive and I'm retired so I watch my cash flow. But if I were to travel to that area Mid Pines would be number one on my "To Play" list. Love watching you two play. Taylor you need to ease up on the young fella!!! haha
@@TCTwosomeGolf They probably didn't like it because it's and easy looking TOUGH golf course. When it was built 100 years ago (approximately) green speeds were around 6 on the Stimpmeter, now they run 10 to 12. with all the false fronts and slippery sides, it's tough to hold the greens. You need to be precise with your approach shots. Some golfers want an ego boost, Mid Pines only gives that to GOOD golfers. Cheers
Another great video guys! I feel your pain Taylor🤕 I grew up playing Donald Ross greens. The upside down saucer greens will get you every time. Keep up the great content!!
Thanks Mike!! Yes those greens were sneakily tricky! Seemed like such easy and obvious reads but struggled putting all week! Rolled true though! Just not true to what we were reading 😂
That young lady can play the game!!!! We play a Hickory Golf tournamnet at Mid Pines every year and the greens are the biggest challenge. Fantastic golf course. Cheers
Great series of videos from the current trip! Some good golf and potential for better! Hit the speed sticks and I'm sure you can get out to 250 after a year or so
Taylor was on a heater in this one… We hope you guys enjoyed the North Carolina videos! Strap in for the last 18 hole match.

We kept hearing Mid Pines was the least favorite for a lot of people, but it was a GREAT track!

Glad you enjoyed Greg! Just placed an amazon order for some speed sticks, I gotta keep up
Hey question, what camera do you use to film? Doing a golf trip with my boys to the southern pines area this fall and want to document it!
Hey Chris! We use a Sony ZV1 for the tracers (on tripod) then a Sony 4k camcorder for the other
Did you start on the back 9?
Hey Mark! We did not, unless they switched them.. Hole 1 was next to the clubhouse!
Would you recommend this course over Pinehurst No 4 & 10?
We have never played 4 or 10 so unfortunately can’t answer this one 😬 Mid Pines was a great golf course though!
Did you guys eat anywhere good in town?
We had Betsey’s Crepes (insane!!!) we had the s’mores waffle. and Mason’s restaurant/cafe in Aberdeen
damn is that agusta?
We wish. 😂 not quite, but such a beautiful golf course.
240 max 😂
Definitely lied on the hole yardage too. 😂😂😂
