Such a well done video, so interesting, with excellent photography, and insightful commentary. I love Mid Pines course, and now it makes me want to go back and play it again as soon as possible!
@@UpRiverGolfProducer Absolutely loved them both. Very different layouts. Needles is more open, but when you get to the greens, you know it's Ross. It's very different than Mid Pines. Pretty neat considering they are right across the street from each other. Different grass on the greens also. More secrets at Mid Pines on the greens for sure. Caddied at Pinehurst also.#2 speaks for itself, by far the easiest walk.
Having that course knowledge is crucial when caddying and playing. You’re right, it’s neat how the properties vary, even though they are practically in the same airspace. Shows the creativity of Ross!

Glad you enjoyed it! It’s fun to see the concepts that Ross was trying to pull off!
Man I love listening to these guys talk
This series is fantastic
Need a whole series of these by the new school architects.
You’re going to love what we have coming.
Awesome video
Thanks!
awesome stuff - haven’t done midpines yet but it’s high on the list to check off!
Mid Pines is fantastic! If you’re in the area make sure
To checkout Pine Needles and Southern Pines as well.
Caddied at this course for many years, across the street at Needles also. Very special layout, Ross is king!
What’s your favorite Ross Course to Caddie at, Mid Pines or Pines Needles? And why?!

This was fantastic.
Appreciate it!
Kyle rocks
Great stuff🤌
Thank you 🙌
If they could only pump about 100 million into the Inn that place would be amazing. The Inn is in such bad shape but I love playing the course.
