I'm 99% sure the only reason Moriarty reappears, is because he's stepped into the changing rooms or something and has nowhere else to go, but because John and Sherlock are still there, he has to pretend he's screwing with them.
Groovey Dog this is amazing!!!
Oh my chuck.
Yesssssss!!!!
😳😳
Hahahahahaa
1:15 Catch... you later... "No you wont!" hahaha that singing voice kills me everytime.
I know it's so random Xd

Holyy shiit thanks for the 1k Likes I've never had soo many! Cheers ppl! : D
“Sorry boys I’m sooooo changeable!” - me after my third breakdown of the day
Head cannon: Moriarty had to come back because he accidentally went the wrong way and is just trying to play it cool.
Headcanon accepted!!!
Wat is headcannon
Any other Moriarty, and that would be just wrong and senseless. This fellow, that's probably what happened.
@@amanpotdar in their mind they think it’s cannon
No
I still can't believe they let fans think about this for TWO YEARS!
Tom Shenton Took two years for the next season to air.
@HAndri nemesis 898 In trash can,hopefully.
@HAndri nemesis 898 I won't. Though,I wouldn't mind Moffat and co making fools of themselves with a other season.

+Darklipsharry +Tari Elensar True
+Tari Elensar Are you a Supernatural fan?? :D
yes I am very much :D
Absolutely XD
Andrew Scott is such a talented actor I am just awfully reminded about John in the bonfire and Moriarty saying he'll burn the heart out of Sherlock and I just
ikr
oh god WHY would you remind me of that
Ik but it was Charles Augustis Magnison who had people put John in the fire.
+Darklipsharry it was Magnussen, yes. but let's not forget the implications of it!
Dawn Curtis One of my friends had the immense honour of working with him and I have genuinely never been so jealous!
Memories of when I just finished season 1 and was left at this stupid cliffhanger...
we are the fandom that waited
do we ever see what happened next in the show?
Leaf247 Yup. Just like the crown jewels.
It wasn't a stupid cliffhanger
@@martinrobo123 Well some people expected a dramatic way for Sherlock and Watson to escape the situation and were already making hundreds of theories .
And all it takes is one phone call . That is the Definition of *STUPID*
Sherlock's violent blink after he realises Moriarty knows John is his 'heart'
hanthedudette holy shit I just realised that!
Yaassss 😍😍😍!!!
Wow I just noticed that dude!!
Fr can't get over it
Oh Moriarty, just, bring him back. For more sass and torment.
Meh. I think Moriarty will be better off as a figment of Sherlock's imagination from now on. It'd leave room for more unique villains. Also, I personally don't think Moriarty is alive.
+BillFrypher Or the Moriarty we see above was just a frontman. Remember the taxi driver referred to Moriarty as a plural. 'You're just a man, and they are much more than that.'
+BillFrypher if Moriarty exists as a figment of Sherlock's imagination, presumably he'd become more and more prominent as Sherlock ingests more fear gas, until Moriarty takes over completely. But then, Sherlock's personality would become Moriarty's fear, and Sherlock would lock him away for good. Sherlock would then activate the Knightfall protocol.
Oh wait, that's Batman and the Joker's storyline from Arkham Knight. Oops.
Cybermat47 Well shit, thanks for spoiling the game for me. I hadn't got around to playing yet.
+Cybermat47 in 'The Abominable Bride' Sherlock figured out that she hadn't come back to life and people were continuing her work for her so maybe Moriarty is dead and someone wants to keep the memory of him alive by making people think he's alive and causing trouble. But then again Moriarty is probably still alive because 'Every fairytale needs a good old fashioned villain .' And because what would be the point he has a have a huge nemesis being the main plot as well as the other little cases he does. I'm going to stop rambling but that's just my theory.
Sherlock: Catch. You. Later.
Moriarty: 🎵No you won't!🎵 😃
Andrew Scott is top notch!!👌
Sherlock being frantic and breathing so erratically while removing that bomb from John surprised me so much the first time I watched it. I didn’t expect him to show that much emotion.
I've finally figured out why Moriarty looks so terrifying. It's his eyes. Sherlock's at least hold a bit of intelligence, a spark of life. Moriarty's don't hold any light. It's like we're staring at a freaking corpse.
SkyWingFeather I think I see madness and chaos in those eyes.
A corpse's eyes are dull and clear, blank and kinda glassy. So it can't really be like a corpses eyes although it's true you can't really see the brightness. It's just... black.
While I agree with your comment to an extent, I don’t find Moriarty frightening at all. In fact, I see plenty of life in his eyes. Is it just me lol?
XYHC nope
what are you saying about brown eyes?!
Gotta love Sherlock scratching his head with loaded gun.
"I will burn the heart out of you!"
"I have been reliably informed that I don't have one."
"We both know that's not quite true."
I like how Moriarty is one of the first people to point out that Sherlock is actually a human with human weaknesses and that he will do his best to take advantage of that. So much said in so little lines, bravo for the writers!
"I'll burn the heart out of you" ; The best line Moriarty ever said in one of his best scenes. And one of the best lines I have ever heard in an Irish accent!
It's Irish?
MaccamatBux Thank god it's not just me who's confused. I'm terrible with voices so I have no idea 😅
and I was happy to make a difference between British and American... guess I still gotta work hard *sighs in french*
@@MaccamatBux The actor is Irish. His accent slipped through in that line.
True. I was thinking exactly the same. It was classic.🔥
"I'm so changeable"
*Comes out of changing room*
😂😂😂
John and Sherlock agreeing to die together with a single look after mere months of knowing each other. I hate this show. I can't stop watching it.

Moriartys cute innocent face after he says “I’ll burn the heart out of you” as if it’s the most flippant comment ever 😂😂😂😂
That's a psychopath skills...😉
He literally makes the :/ face 😂
"I'll burn...THE HEART...out of you."
That look in his eyes as he says it; damn, what a beautiful combination of writing, acting and directing.
I'll be honest until this comment section I thought he was just getting really excited about burning sherlock and that he'd burn ahhh! you!
Andrew Scott is a fascination Actor, and surprisingly versatile. Loved him in Pride.
I loved how he was in Victor Frankenstein
He was AMAZING in Pride - he is the real thing.
agreed
In a pre-Fleabag world, this aged like wine
Andrew Scott saying Sherlock is my religion
😑
Malédiction...
Sherlock living life on the edge, casually scratching the back of his head with a gun
Damn.....Moriarty's awesome..!!
I absolutely love how Sherlock rushes to John to check if he is okay and literally after that he is in a panic because he doesnt know what to do
Andrew Scott’s Moriarty is so good, it’s hard for me to believe he isn’t actually a psycho murderer
I liked Natalie Dormer best but Andrew Scott comes a close second.
John to Sherlock - "You ripping my clothes off in a darkened swimming pool, people might talk."
Sherlock's violent blink after he realises Moriarty knows John is his 'heart'.
Ah ah!!! TJLC confirmed!!! :) :)
That's why Andrew Scott is the best! It's virtually impossible to top that; however, I'm sure something exciting will come!
Now this is a well written villain
One who is unpredictable, intelligent and constantly in control
The way Sherlock jumped to John after Moriarty was gone and the way he asked him if he was alright, shows how much he means to him. And he also tried to thank him, in his own way, because he offered his life to save him. He was truly surprised and moved by that. That’s so cute
'People might have seen you ripping clothes off me in a darkened pool'
Benedict is sublime.
Andrew is sublime.
Martin is sublime.
When Sherlock points the gun at the bomb and moriarty is just like "well I didn't think he would do THATT"
He actually did
More likely wondering if he's untertained or bored at the moment. :°)
Read a fanfic where that happened
Why is Moriarty even smiling at the end? He's like: well i actually don't want to die but I met Sherlock Holmes, the consulting detective and showed him that we're made for each other so ... life goal complete
'IM SOOOOoooOOOOooOO CHANGEABLE!!!'

E N Fitz What a brilliant way to describe Moriarty. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
One thing I love about Moriarty: He never blinks. Makes him even more creepy.
(5 years later) He definitely blinks.
@@krolik1157 yea
Anthony Hopkins did a great job of not blinking in Silence of the Lambs.
What a great tension filled scene. This really made my heart race.
mark's little smile , is just like 'hahaha we uploaded this ,now let the internet explode with different theories to of why '
The way Moriarty says "No, you won't" makes me laugh every time hahahaaa
FUUUU! I WAS WAITING FOR THE STAYIN' ALIVE RINGTONE!
wrong series mate
Eve Wright no it's the right one
The season ends right here.
"I end up dead?"
"Kill you? *laughs* I don't want to kill you! What would I do without you? You complete me."
I still can't get over the fact of how ironic it was how the song staying alive started playing as they were about to die.
2:30 John is just so done at this point
"No you won't"
Don't be so confident... Dumby...!!!
🎯..... 😽
Andrew Scott did such a phenomenal job in this role. All the actors are bloody brilliant in this show. So good!
John : *literally faints after being threatened with death for a dozen minutes* nice
"Well then you could cherish the look of surprise on my face"
"No you won't"
Are some of my favorite lines I've ever watched.
Honestly every time i see this, when Moriarty says 'I will burn you, I will burn the heart out of you.' I do the little fangirl scream cause IT"S JUST SO GOOD, THE LINE DELIVERY, THE ACTING!
I was so caught up in the tension it was just like
Tension
Tension
Tension
Tension
Marks gatiss
The reason Moriarty is so confident is because he sees Sherlock as a mirror of himself, only Sherlock has a heart.
He knows the worst thing he could do to Sherlock is turn him into himself
ahhhh the johnlock vibes
01:27 - 02:27 . . just close your eyes.
Oh god, that is just so wrong
I KNOW, right. Sinful o.0

Ya knoww, I get it 😁 oioi
What is my purpose? You ripping my clothes off in a dark swimming pool
Jesus Christ my nonexistent innocence
"people have died"
"THAT'S WHAT PEOPLE DO"
That's like my favorite line of Moriarty
And it was in this moment I realized I have a thing for psychotic criminals.
0:27 the anger acting. awesome!!!.
Is Moriarty wearing the SAME TIE as Lestrade at the Last Vow
I swear to god BBC get more props
Random Person I don't think Lestrade would be the type of person to wear skulls on his tie...
SkyWingFeather He's got a similar tie at the wedding
Sherlick wears the same purple shirt Ive seen on at least two other BBC actors, so....
i’m just rewatching this scene over and over because it shows how human sherlock actually is, and the fact that he cares so much for john. it’s cute
Moriarty stole the whole show everytime he stepped in
"I will burn you. I will burn the HEART out of you." Still to this day gives me goose bumps. Simply brilliant acting from Andrew Scott imo.
Sherlock: "And probably my answer has crossed yours."
Moriority: "Indeed."
Jacket never had explosives in the first place. now, scene makes more sense.
I WANT MORIARTY IN S4!!
+Gökçe Melike Demir Did you miss me ?
I think he is already in ! :D
+Emilie Morin well, it can be an old video but i hope he is back anyway
Let's hope together (but wait first)
We all do.
Gökçe Melike Demir season 4 is basically about moriarty attacking and destroying Sherlock and his reputation again so
"I gave you my number thought you would call".
Even the beginning of this scene was amazing.
The fact that I know this whole scene word by word says something about my mental health
Moriarty's tie is the same one that Mycroft wears when he's telling Sherlock to "narrow it down" in "The Sign of Three..."
This. Might. Mean. Something.
Or nothing.
Or something.
oh johnlock
No Sheriarty!
“That’s what people do!” When i first watched it and he screamed at do omg my heart went crazy and scared
This could have been a great hint at something that would allow the actor to return as Moriarty. Note the following details:
1. His name is just Jim Moriarty, but a certain title is missing, "Professor"
2. When he comes back out he says "I'm so changeable", also why leave only to come right back in
3. He has another identity, Richard Brook, that could in fact be his real name seeing as how he was lying about a super code to alter records and unlock doors so the legit identity came from somewhere.
They could have made it so that Sherlock was facing not one Moriarty, but two, twins. One leaves the pool and the other comes in, hence the "Changeable" line. One can manipulate things while the other is locked up. Finally, one can blow his brains out on that rooftop and the other can be free to do whatever with the world thinking he's dead. Basically the plot of the movie "The Prestige", where you have twins living the life of one man with no one ever knowing it.
🤯🤯🤯
Sherlock truly is one of BBC’s finest hours
1:27 - 2:27 Because even british classic literature it's not safe from the shipping train LOL.
Once a hobbit, always a hobbit.
look at the dead look in his eyes... even i can't do that
John: Mr. Holmes I don't feel so good...Mr. Holmes I don't wanna go......
"Catch you...later." *singsong* "No you won't!"
Pervers Narcissique = you need me like i want you... You're my toy, you're a live for my pleasure... So neccessary the pleasure is "partager" on the both Side... For this type of man...
Andrew Scott is a great actor.
loads of people are saying he was awful... i thought he was great !
It was a mistake to make Moriarty the first big villain. He was just TOO good to kill off halfway through the show. Magnussen should have been first with an occasional appearance from Moriaty. Irene Adler could have had two episodes to herself and then the main confrontation would have been Series 3 Episode 3. Moriaty could then remain a villain throughout Series 4, and then Series 5 would feature his lieutenants.
YESSssssS!!!!
Professional Meme Enthusiast 1 yep that would be pretty much perfect
3:14 SH's thoughts: We either all go, or we all go.
After watching season four with the reveal of Minority and euros, rewarding these season gives it a whole lot more contents and meaning. and just an overall different perspective
Am I the only one thinking that Benedict kind of mimics Alan Rickman's Snape from Harry Potter ?? "Catch. you. later" sounded absolutely similar !
Well, there were a lot of other scenes in Sherlock where he sounded exactly the same.
So is John the Lily to Sherlocks Snape?
@@z2yn haha 😂 indeed!

Moriarty's voice, the way it changes constantly, very entertaining!
Please say Moriarty's changeable personality shines through and he comes back in series 4... Because if he doesn't I will actually cry. I'm not kidding.
Scratch your head with a gun, real genius.
I really love how they started the next episode from here. No spoilers for anyone who for some reason still hasn't watched this show.
Moriarty looks like he's giving the expression "HOW DARE YOU POINT A GUN AT ME" in the thumbnail lol
