Toyota Camry 2.2L Fuel Filter Removal

2000 Toyota Camry 2.2L , Fuel filter replacement. In this video I showed how to access and remove the fuel filter that is not in a convenient place. It is hard but it is possible with some simple tools and patient.

The location of the filter in the worst place on these models Camry, because fuel under pressure they made it over torqued and rusted over time, that why it is not easy to take it out.

They could honestly have found a better place to have that filter.

Have you ever changed the fuel lines under the car? If so, what is the correct fuel size lines? I have a 2001 Toyota Camry LE. Thank you.

Yes i did. I believe fuel line size is 5/16 . Fuel line , vapor line and breathing lines are same size.

I would’ve tapped socket wrench with a hammer, very lightly

Did you notice an increase in fuel economy after changing it?

Honestly, I did not notice any improvement in fuel economy however I felt the engine got little bit more power during cancelation, but this can be easily because of gas quality at pumps.
