One man dead after shooting in the Garland District

Spokane Police are on scene investigating a fatal shooting that took place on Thursday morning in the Garland District. Police confirmed one man died after being shot near Wall and Garland.
Police say one person has been detained in connection to the shooting.
Major Crimes and Forensics teams are on scene investigating. Garland Avenue will remain closed from Post Street to Howard Street while the investigators are on scene.
