Who sharpens the drill bits and lathe cutting blades? Is it one person in each shop who’s job it is to sharpen everything or is it the person running that particular machine? How often are these things sharpened & can we see a video of them sharpening the tools? Just a thought, inquiring minds want to know. 👍🏽Nice video today too.
Love the dirt floors. You have to ask why the wheel failed in the first place, bad engineering ,bad maintenance , or maybe both. Well there might be a problem with the second life steel, has it had a bad history, who knows
Cracks will always appear when steel is cold pressed. It is better when steel is hot pressed or at least heat treated.🤔 Or you leave it that way so that you're sure that there is always work and income of course....😅
When he is cutting with the torch, he keeps the flame too close to the Material. The torch tip should be at least a 1/4" away from the material being cut . It would give him a cleaner cut infact it should fall out it shouldn't have to be sledge hammered out.
I always wonder about the tolerances. Like is this good machining work or sloppy? I wonder how these guys would react to being in a modern US machine shop.
Something like this doesn't appear to me to be that critical. But I suspect that for many other projects they are actually doing a lot of measurement off camera and using light markings that don't show up on camera such that it looks like they are just eyeballing it.
Well it keeps everybody in a job 😂 the rest of the world moved to 10 stud axels decades ago probably for this reason. Bet the grade of steel used for wheels is worlds apart from that used to make ships 🤷♂️
if you know what friction welding is you can fuse those 2 parts together with friction rubbing them against pice each other till they turn white it will be on a solid unit no need for stick welding and its faster and cheaper as you are not using welding rods, you just need to pre your lathe with 2 3 or 5 jaws self-centering in 18 " the opposite side can be on a spindle that runs the opposite direction اگر آپ جانتے ہیں کہ رگڑ ویلڈنگ کیا ہے تو آپ ان 2 حصوں کو رگڑ کے ساتھ ملا سکتے ہیں اور انہیں ایک دوسرے کے ساتھ رگڑ سکتے ہیں جب تک کہ وہ سفید نہ ہوجائیں یہ ایک ٹھوس یونٹ پر ہوگا جس میں چھڑی ویلڈنگ کی ضرورت نہیں ہوگی۔
I thought the the praise "Drive it till the wheels fall off!" was a joke. But those broken wheels prove it. Show how they use things in Pakistan and India.
With the price of welding helmets extremely cheap these days you would think they would all have one instead of some 20 year old hand held one. Oh and a mig welder as well. Not much quality control there.
Perfect workers ! MAESTROS ... 😊😊😊
A wheel made like that is one of the few things I’d trust less than a politician
Putin, Xi Jinping, Kim Jong-un 👍👍👍👍🤣🤣🤣
@@candleproducercom certeza são piores que a roda 🤣🤣🤣
Excellent work ! 👍
The cutting torch guy is a bad ass with no glasses of any kind.

Those hydraulic punches going through those rims like butter! Awesome piece of equipment.
Absolutely amazing work guys blowing away with all the process
Amazing reuse materials!

They load 150 tons in a truck having passing of 50 to 60 tonnes . What can you expect?
Everything is melted and reused who knows how many times. Between that and the constantly overloaded vehicles they work with what they've got.
Do they change work suits after they finish the work ??????? ❤
Cold pressed plate steel is a very iffy technique because major cracking is a certainty.
Tell that to the thousands of miles they drive every week lolz.
When ur broke af ur broke af. What do you do
Just imagine the number of pipelines these guys built with stick welders and oxy torches.

Amazing Video #Greatthings
At 15:17, did he totally eyeball the lug nut holes?? 😮
No think it on an indexing head you can hear it hitting a stop, think the eyeball the other holes though 😂
That is great!👏
They all have phones but no eye protection. irony.

17:27 in a world first for Pakistan production, a wire brush was used. What's next for Pakistan, safety equipment?
Very professional way of making it, may it be healthy and smooth always 👍🇮🇩
Amazing

Seeing that rim smashed into the lathe bed like that is the stuff of nightmares 😫
Which camera r u using?

The are all working sooo fast...
Those are cemented carbide tool bits!
It’s pretty clear from the condition of the rims that the load ratings on the trucks and their axles aren’t even viewed as suggestions. LOL.

That is recycled ship sides other videos show beaching the cruise ship and cutting it up
Why is it that very few to no one actually uses a ground clamp in India.

That guy swinging the sledge hammer after he cut out the circular blanks would be fit at the end of the day and he gets paid for it?
