Who sharpens the drill bits and lathe cutting blades? Is it one person in each shop who’s job it is to sharpen everything or is it the person running that particular machine? When he is cutting with the torch, he keeps the flame too close to the Material. The torch tip should be at least a 1/4" away from the material being cut . It would give him a cleaner cut infact it should fall out it shouldn't have to be sledge hammered out.

I always wonder about the tolerances. Like is this good machining work or sloppy? I wonder how these guys would react to being in a modern US machine shop.
Something like this doesn't appear to me to be that critical. But I suspect that for many other projects they are actually doing a lot of measurement off camera and using light markings that don't show up on camera such that it looks like they are just eyeballing it.

With the price of welding helmets extremely cheap these days you would think they would all have one instead of some 20 year old hand held one. Oh and a mig welder as well. Not much quality control there.
That looks like thousands of rims that need repair. Obviously a terrible manufacturing process.
