These two products are two major reasons my lawn looks the way it does. I apply every month during the growing season. It takes time but consistency is the key to success. Best of luck and so glad you found the video helpful. This was one of my first videos on RUclips, i feel I’ve gotten much better, lol. Honestly its hard to watch them now 🤣🤣
This year has been insane no matter what I did I could not get grass to grow and spread with anything. Finally with the cooler weather my Bermuda seems to be taking life again. I barely have to mow because how slow growth has been this year. Thousands spent in watering… and fertilizers
I thought regardless of product when you use a sprayer it was always 1 gallon of water per 1000 square feet. Just looking for some guidance here. Your lawn looks amazing great job!!!
1 gal per 1000 is a great rule of thumb. Especially for products like fungicides, herbicides or liquid fertilizers.( any foliar based applications). However, if you are applying bio stems or soil based applications, you can make 1 gal go 2-3000 sq ft per gallon. You don’t need the extra carrier volume for those type applications. At the end of the day, follow the label and do what gets you the best coverage. Great question, one I get a lot. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment!!
Yes but not for this type application. I usually add blue dye when spraying non selective herbicides because I want to know exactly where i have or have not sprayed. It can make a mess and turn everything(fingers and skin included) blue. So i am very careful and selective when i choose to use it.
I purchased those nozzles several years ago. Now I think they are called the GCI Nozzle Buddy. They weren't called that back then. I have a red trim nozzle and a green 8ft wide nozzle. Here is a link if you are interested. bit.ly/3x6v9eS Thank you so much for watching.
I have the FlowZone Typhoon(early model). I purchased the sprayer nozzels from GCI turf. Here is the link.... gciturfacademy.com/collections/diy-spray-equipment/products/gci-turf-pro-spray-nozzles?rfsn=7909251.4cec2ee Thank you for watching. The nozzles work GREAT... on the low setting( I ) I can cover 10K sq ft and on the high ( II ) i can cover 5000k. Make sure you calibrate with water for the first time and get your walking speed down.
Great video. I just got some RGS and will apply soon. Thank you !

Thank you so much. Makes it all worth it!!
Thanks for watching
Thanks for the video very informative
Thanks for watching and the kind words. Makes it all worth it.
Worth noting the tank size is recommended based on yard size. A 4 gallon would be overkill for my 1600sq foot lawn
Absolutely correct. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment!!

I noticed you have another video talking about sea k. Do you apply both sea k and rgs?
Thank you for watching. You can, absolutely. This month I am just swapping my normal monthly application of RGS for Sea-k.
Did you ever try blue Mark dye so you see exactly what you ate spraying?
Yes but not for this type application. I usually add blue dye when spraying non selective herbicides because I want to know exactly where i have or have not sprayed. It can make a mess and turn everything(fingers and skin included) blue. So i am very careful and selective when i choose to use it.
