Well, this coming winter will be a difficult one for the pond keeper the company my daughter works for has estimated gas will go up to 5.3 and electric to .67.
So that’s an extra £1.70 per unit Gas and .67p electric.
So, I’m going to have a look at a Micro-Hydro Water Charging unit 1000W so a few hours of reading up on them it seems a simple process feed one end of your water flow in one side and the other side the out-water flow so the perfect place would be on the return pipe to the pond.

Pain is something no one wants to suffer and my best wishes go out to Martin Devon Koi I know what it’s like I had 3 years of pain with a fissure could not sit walk or sleep after my operation I decided that every 2 years I would have a full MRI scan which would pick any problems up these are quite cheap around £350 and well worth getting done I considered it also best to get a brain one done at the same time this can show up possible future problems with Alzheimers/ Dementia/Cancer/ Parkinsons/Stroke and both can be done for around £500. These are done out of hours by hospitals the reason of the cheap price but peace of mind is worth getting them done.

Interesting subject , Andy . Its one of those that one "expert" will tell you one thing and another "expert" will tell you the complete opposite 😆 I`ve tried lots of them over the years , but couldn`t swear to any great success . All I`d say is that I`ve never seen any of my local dealers using it (although they`re usually happy to sell it to me , though 😆) . Great content ,as always though ! Keep it up 👍👍

Could you please do a trial when filling the upside down aquarium. I've been planning to use pvc pipes to create a venturi thus sucking air from the aquarium to fill it up with water. The venturi is really just a pvc tee with an inlet for water, an inlet for air suction and an outlet for a mixture of air and water. Look it up, it's called venturi pump. It would be a great help if you try that because I don't have a pond yet to do it

Koi masters advantage is tooooo exspensive and clay does the same thing absolutely nothing just keep an eye on you’re water parameters like they say look after you’re water and you’re fish will be fine just keep the KH up in the spring and summer for the bacteria and I’ve used fok in the past and seen no difference in anything 😂😂😂😂😂 sorry but I have my own opinion 🤷‍♂️👍
