I think there will be another version of him because he will get recognized with this version easily since he is basically has the same face. Also I believe Eru did not took his power away. His physical body destroyed when Numenor is destroyed and his shape shift ability as well
I miss Halbrand... he was my favourite character in season 1 because he was so likeable and intriguing at the same time. Plus, the chemistry between him and Galadriel made their scenes together so enjoyable. If Galadriel is caraway on her own, a bit harsh and unpalatable eaten pure, when she interacted with Halbrand she turned into cinnamon, adding warmth and a touch of sweetness to her sharp edges.
The only explanation is that they fucked up big time in the 1st season. They had to somehow adapt and go back to being canon. At least we now get to see a proper Annatar so all this disappointment and negative comments towards Amazon did some work after all.
"proper Annatar" That's a hell of a bold statement, given they have no idea how to tell compelling stories, let alone compelling dialogues. Their creativity are matched by 8-year-olds. Amazons stories are just as shallow as those "super fans"
I mean the miar can change how people perceive them. Like Gandalf growing bigger when talking to bilbo. So maybe the scene where we see his halbrand face is when he reveals that face instead of a distorted one in the eyes of the elves. I mean lore wise I feel like the elves should be able to see through that though.
AI kinda screws it up. You have to break up words and spell them differently to get it to work. He probably just typed up the script and let it say it without really considering the way it’ll say it.
His hairlines moved back to the first age…

It's because the writers don't know what the fuck they're doing.

They put a wig on him so Guyladriel wouldn't recognise him
Yeah it’s because they screwed him up so bad in season 1 that they have to go back to what actually happened in the books 😅
He’s a shapeshifter in the books and is one in the show

"Months of conjecture" my brother in Christ everyone new it was Sauron the first scene he was in.
Yep exactly. This show has the worst writing ever. So amateurish. This is terrible fan fiction

Lemme guess he visited America between seasons
its not Sore-On, its Sow-ron

He’s a shapeshifter this is common knowledge
He looks different because the showrunners are terrible 😅
In the books he always preferred pretending to be an elf
his form is not referred as elf. Annatar means nice to the eye so according to this name you can say elf or men race is not measure of beauty
