🔸Part two: ruclips.net/video/bvqBtyDX-no/видео.html🔸 On June 25th Martin was called out about a Golden Eagle. He and Susan rushed out to meet the people who called about the eagle. They met them on the edge of town where the eagle was in the back of their car. They had been in area where they could not call, so put the eagle in their car. Martin noted they were very lucky not to have been injured. The eagle was too weak to put up a fight. It is generally best to leave the animal be and note down as much information as possible to share with those trained to handle the animals. After examining the Golden Eagle, Martin saw it was a youngster, maybe 12 weeks old and still growing feathers. Back at the rescue center, the young eagle perked up slightly, enough to take down a small meal. Martin kept a close eye on the eagle throughout the night. The next day, he put food in with the eagle to see if he would be able to feed himself. It took some time, but eventually, the eagle did "pull" his own food. Recovery looks likely though Scout will have a young neighbor for awhile, possibly until August. When one person like him leaves, there will be two to replace him. I definitely want to get into helping animals, I use to help small birds and crows, when I was young, but adulthood got in the way, and you have to work for a living. 😐
It is a bleak future. I live in Ontario and was just incontact with a wildlife place. They were not taking anymore birds for the next while. They have been over run because 2 other rescuers shut down last year. The lady was heartbroken she had to make that choice. But they run it on their own money and no one is offering to help. So as of now there is no one in the lower half of Ontario to help. Just like the rest of us this year has been awful for wildlife. You never realize just how much animals depend on us dirty humans to survive.
I'm relieved that the people who found this poor little guy weren't injured and had the presence of mind to call for help as soon as they got a signal. Good on them and always good on you for taking such amazing care of those beautiful creatures.
"If you come any closer, I'm going to hurt you. O, how wonderful is that!" It made me smile, the way you said it. I fully understand, you want them to be fierce. It sounded like a father concerned for its offspring. I LOVE it. Thank you so much for your wonderful work. Are you coping with the pandemic?
This is HANDS DOWN the best video on birds of prey that I've EVER seen!!! And Martin's compassion... his kindness of heart... his DEEP love and respect for these majestic animals is ABSOLUTELY heartwarming. I'd thought that I was totally alone in my love and regard for animals. I talk to them. I ALWAYS use terms of endearment toward them, and people... most people think me crazy. And I don't care what people think of me one way or the other. But I couldn't help but break down and cry tears of pure and unadulterated joy watching Martin work with this eagle. It was just overwhelmingly beautiful and wonderful to me. I hope that you, Martin, will allow us to witness his release back to the wild. That'll be PHENOMENAL!!!!
You actually thought you were alone having love and regard for wild animals? You know there are over 7 Billion people on this planet so chances are someone else will love & respect wild animals besides you.
The way he talks to that baby, shows the love he has for them. What a wonderful and beautiful thing he does saving these majestic birds of prey. (and THEY do in saving them). The last video was a very sad one. I love that this one has a happy ending ❤️
Martin -thank you for your dedication. I’m glad you mentioned that bird talons are razor sharp. It’s true! In my case, I touched a baby raccoon. His claws sliced right thru my hand, I developed endocarditis. I had a thoracotomy w/ mechanical aortic valve. I’ll be on Coumadin forever. But, I really luv animals! I’m fascinated by eagles. Your videos are excellent.
How is our young Golden Eagle doing? Today is July 25th. I had the fortunate blessing of learning falconry at the St. Paul raptor center back in 1998. I moved away from MN but working with raptors will always remain a sacred honor and blessing in my heart and life. Thank you for being of service to our great winged friends!
Allow me from Portugal to thank you for the good you do to animals ... that beautiful eagle without your help would have died ... and the world without these beautiful beings would not have the beauty it has ... I cried a lot, I thought I wasn't going but you are a great Professional ... may God give you twice what you give them all ... thank you for everything ... I got a text a week later to say the wildlife people had successfully released the young owl, it's such a great feeling to know the animal you rescued is now free. I always carry scissors with me too due to all the birds we've had to cut fishing line or string off.
What a great good news story. Thank you for sharing. I understand why you say don't pick these birds up but I am grateful that, that couple did and had the foresight to call you when they had a signal. Grateful for a good news story! Thank you!
I was fortunate enough to be off today and catch this video right away. I just have no words...I love the babies, even the big babies! My heart melted when you fed him his first meal after rescue. I hope this finds you well and healthy so you can continue to care for Gods creatures!
thanks to the man who was willing to help even though he should have marked instead of picking him up but he managed to give water to the eagle and shame on the mans mates to say just leave it to die

Hi Martin, you indeed are a very special guy with no doubt a special job you are undertaking to look after and care for these beautiful birds and other animals. Awesome job and thank you. 🙏🙏🙏🙏👍👍🇬🇧
I just watched a video from you that had a very sad ending so I decided to watch this hoping for a better out come for the eagle and for you. I KNEW how heartbroken you were in the previous video and this made MY heart soar for both of you. Thank you for never giving up!
RUclips thought I might be interested in your channel and I am! I used to work in a building in San Francisco that had a peregrine nest and cam on the roof. I've been watching that cam for over 20 years, and I follow a Falconer in England who has over 40 raptors and corvids, including a couple of eagles. I can't wait to explore your channel further. I was delighted when Baby Eagle finally tackled the rabbit, leaving a very tidy carpet of fur :) Thank you and I'll be back!
You, sir are a dear dear friend to all the animals you have been feeding, caring. Thank you so much for your compassion to these animals. On some that you have lost, I literally cried. I know what it is to care for animals then lose them. God bless you.
How wonderful! I'm so glad the eaglet was fortunate enough to be found (although your warning about touching wild animals is certainly appropriate) AND to be within rescue distance of YOU. You are the Mayo Clinic/Johns Hopkins of wildlife rescue. No, I take that back. You are better, because you don't send your patients a bill. This human is glad to help with her little donation.
Every time I watch your videos I feel blessed that I ran across your channel when I did. What you do everyday of your life is not only rewarding to yourself but also to all those who watch your videos as well. Your videos are very informative and always touches a certain place in my heart. Thank you for being such a kind individual who respects and understands what these poor birds need. God bless you.
How exciting that he was strong enough to eat on his own! I hope you filmed the release! I would imagine it either has already happened or is coming up very soon at this point. I would love to hear an update! Thank you for all you do for the Golden Eagles and Bald Eagles! God Bless you for caring! 💗💗💗
He looked so weak in the car but I couldn’t believe he had enough fight in him to try for those mice right away. They so often seem to give up by the time they get to this point, they get weak and depressed. Especially being so young and without his folks...his spirit is strong, this little guy will be a force to be reckoned with as an adult, I will nick name this one “spirit” 💓
That is beautiful! Bravo to the people who found the eagle and did the right thing re getting proper help. Bravo to all of you who care so very much and do so via your loving actions! ~Thank you for your hard work and dedication and for sharing it with the world! 👍😊💕

Baby. very cute.

A lot of kids and young people watch these videos. I'm not concerned about the future.
When one person like him leaves, there will be two to replace him. I definitely want to get into helping animals, I use to help small birds and crows, when I was young, but adulthood got in the way, and you have to work for a living. 😐

I know this is a very late comment...new phone. Finally. But, I'm just wondering, (if anyone sees this to answer), was there a reason that Martin didn't take the syringe filled with the fluid/nutrition along with him when he went to get the eagle? It was apparent that the poor bird needed rapid treatment. In this case, it didn't make a difference, but if time were, literally, critical, wouldn't it have been better to have had the filled syringe along to begin immediate nutritional support?

Thank you for your interest, we're glad you are enjoying our videos!
I just watched a video from you that had a very sad ending so I decided to watch this hoping for a better out come for the eagle and for you. I KNEW how heartbroken you were in the previous video and this made MY heart soar for both of you. Thank you for never giving up!
Thank you for your interest
RUclips thought I might be interested in your channel and I am! I used to work in a building in San Francisco that had a peregrine nest and cam on the roof. I've been watching that cam for over 20 years, and I follow a Falconer in England who has over 40 raptors and corvids, including a couple of eagles. I can't wait to explore your channel further. I was delighted when Baby Eagle finally tackled the rabbit, leaving a very tidy carpet of fur :) Thank you and I'll be back!
Great to hear, glad you are enjoying our videos!
You sir are a genuine certified saint! So caring and gentle with these animals. Mother Earth smiles brightly upon you.
Thank you Helene, we appreciate your interest, kind words and support!
So happy to see the little guy doing well! Such great work you do! Thanks for sharing it with us!

How exciting that he was strong enough to eat on his own! I hope you filmed the release! I would imagine it either has already happened or is coming up very soon at this point. I would love to hear an update! Thank you for all you do for the Golden Eagles and Bald Eagles! God Bless you for caring! 💗💗💗
Soon, soon, we hope!
God bless you for all that you do for these magnificent and majestic animals!
I love that you left the camera in there for us! He’s so precious🥲
Thank you for your interest
Every single one of these birds are precious.
It's often hard to know how they will come around. Glad this one is a fighter!
The planet need more person’s like you.😘
They are out there...
5:14 that falcon is practically nodding his head, like he's agreeing with Martin's words of advice.
Please keep us updated on this Gorgeous fellow! Can't wait to see his release!😍 🥰☁

“‘If you come any closer, I’m going to hurt you.’ How wonderful is that?” 😂
“...What a great morning.”
