Well, 63 years is a bit long for most travel itineraries, but good for you, enjoying such a fascinating place. I have created a new series of web pages about Amsterdam I invite you to see and would appreciate any feedback about it from a native like you townsofeurope.com/Netherlands/Amsterdam-intro.html
So beautiful footage and all the useful comments on Amsterdam a lovely city with so much discoveries : all the canals -and bells of the churches-,, the carriages 😀! Thanks Dennis. Nice evening ! Greetings from Paris
We have been looking at videos of Amsterdam for months in preparation for our upcoming visit. We found yours uniquely interesting and comprehensive, covering many things other than the top ten tourist attractions. Thanks for the periodic review of what you have just covered, plus the map showing where you walked. Great job! Thank you! We are going to be looking at your others videos.
Thanks for your kind comments. You can find all my Amsterdam videos, along with transcripts, travel tips, photos and maps on my website townsofeurope.com/Netherlands/Amsterdam-intro.html
People, don't use the Public Transportation or the Canal Tour Boats when you're able to walk. Amsterdam is very much a 'wonder around' on foot city. You'll discover something amazing around every corner...
The only problem with Holland is that it's small but the population is very huge as compared to it's size! Otherwise it's a nice and friendly place to visit.
True, it is one of the most densely populated countries, but they have turned this to an advantage by building compact towns with most everything in walking or bicycle distance, making a very enjoyable urban atmosphere, while at the same time preserving their farmlands. Thanks for your comment.
Hi Dennis, where can I find the date of this footage? Also, would like to visit A. but what are your current suggestions regarding Covid. Is there a covid dashboard for these cities?
Nice story. You say you should at least stay for 5 or 6 days to enjoy the city: I've been here for 63 years, and still discover new things ;-)

It is a walker's paradise, something I always include in the videos.
