    I bought the 2023 1100T with the hard saddlebags. I LOVE IT! The engine response is awesome, it handles really well, and for me is a joy to ride. I love the DCT because it allows me to just enjoy the ride and not have to think about shifting all the time. I don't mind a clutch, but it's just one less thing to worry about. The ABS brakes are awesome and super responsive. All in all, it's a great bike.

    I've had this bike since December. Cant imagine what anyone would not like about it
    Simple, fast, and easy to ride. Cant go wrong 👌...oh and dont let the dealership sell you all the extra crap they try to add on! Beware of that

    Ive had this bike on the top of my list for a while now. I went and looked at one in person and love the way the bike looks.
    I have arthritis bad in my left hand, so i am very interested in the DCT.
    After watching many reviews, i found there are mixed opinions. Some love the bike, while others did not. Some of the negatives were fluid leaks, gas tank slightly moving at higher speeds, and the most common was the death wobble. I believe someone figured it out to be the stock tires. All in all, im still seriously considering it. Great video, very informative.

    • @navimaclife
      @navimaclife  10 месяцев назад +3

      I think you’ll love this bike. I’ve heard of oil leaks on some 2022’s. But only from RUclipsrs. I tried confirming this with a Honda Mechanic and he told me he never ran into leaks with the Rebel. And I believe him. I heard the wobble happens around 90 plus, but I never plan to go that fast lol. I absolutely love this bike and I think you will too! Thanks for watching!

    I’ve got a 2021 1100 dct, love it. Just hit 1,000 miles. It is a little quirky sometimes not wanting to upshift when your hard on the throttle and downshifting a little hard when slowing down

    I actually just bought a Honda Navi to practice a little bit before I buy the rebel 1100 DCT. I can’t move my left foot which means I was never able to drive a manual motorcycle. I got very excited when a few months ago I discover this DCT version. I hear you about the big change from Navi to 1100 DCT but I have no other choice with automatic transmission.
    I love the video. I don’t like the grey color! Agrrr I wish I could buy it in black or even mate back , still debating between grey or blue. I will buy the DCT in a month, can’t wait !!

    • @navimaclife
      @navimaclife  4 месяца назад +2

      The grey in the sunlight is really nice. It has a metallic shine to it. They make a blue color too. It’s nice but too out there for me. Blacks and grays only for me. Just be careful the 1100 is no joke. Thanks for watching 🤘🏼

    Very interesting video, Honda don´t sell the Navi here in Germany, but they do sell the Monkey, one of which I have and I love it more than anything else, so as you can see, I understand why you love the Mini Moto scene.
    I took delivery of my Rebel 1100 T yesterday, I am still getting used to the DCT, but I think one day in the near future we should be working quite well together.
    Look forward to see how you get on with the Rebel, have fun and ride safe.

    I added the Grip Puppies foam overgrips for a better feel on my Rebel 1100. I also immediately replaced the wimpy OEM horn with a Denali Sound Bomb Mini for $30... it's a huge difference for sound and safety.
    You'll love the looks and sound of a good aftermarket exhaust like the Coffman's Shorty or Thunder. It makes it bark a little louder but not obnoxiously loud... and the decel blips sound amazing! Cheers, and congrats on your new Rebel DCT! 👊😉👍 --QM

    I bought a 1100 DCT for my first bike. I heard way too many people say they started lower and upgraded within months and I didn’t want to do that. My boyfriend has a Navi and i personally feel like that prepped me for my bike. Definitely heavier, obviously but the way the mechanics work are similar.

    • @navimaclife
      @navimaclife  2 месяца назад

      I agree with you! Go straight to the 1100 as long as you have riding experience (which you do) you would have regretted a 300 or 500. The 1100 is so much fun. Ride safe! Thanks for watching and commenting! 🤘🏼

    I test rode a Rebel T and was impressed with the DCT...BUT it was uncomfortable and cramped. I'm 6ft & 185 and I felt like I was on a kids bicycle... probably cost another 2K to replace seat , different windscreen, headlight & driving lights( i read complaints for headlight) and foot pegs. I think the NT100 would have been a better choice for the US market.

    Did you find the riding position cramped or is it ok. I am 6’ tall and not sure if it would be ok for weekend tours.

    • @navimaclife
      @navimaclife  10 месяцев назад +2

      No not cramped. I’m 5’8” and can easily flat foot it. I think anyone a little bit taller than you might find the riding position awkward. Go sit on one at a Honda dealership. I’d love to hear what you think. Thanks for watching.

    QUESTION! I drive a car that has the same type of dual clutch engine that i can swap to manual or automatic on the fly. Can you put this bike in neutral MID RIDE then swap it back to drive and it picks up right in the gear it left off in? My car works that way. Not that I plan on just throwing the bike into N while im going 50-70 MPH, but curious to know what would happen if somehow you hit the N button mid ride at higher speeds and then throw it back into drive.
    Other than that, i watched this video 100 times. MY NEW 2024 1100 DCT IS ARRIVING TODAY! Been watching this video over and over to get comfortable with where the controls are and how they look. This will be my first bike I purchased on my own. Ive said this on a few videos of yours but, love the videos and thank you for making them. Its helped me out a lot and took a way a bunch of anxiety and nerves being this was my first bike on my own. Gained a subscriber for life!

      Hey brotha! Thanks so much for being a part of the channel! 🤘🏼. So, there really isn’t a Neutral. I can tell you this….if you’re in “sport” mode and the bike is moving you can NOT throw it into another mode. You have to be at a complete stop to throw it in “standard” or “rain” mode. You’ll love this bike, welcome to your new addiction 😜🤘🏼💪🏻

    I traded in my Navi and used that money as a down payment for the Rebel 1100 touring edition in black. My only con is the ugly exhaust. I just ordered a Vance and Hines. I emailed Cheeky Seats and they said if you send them the seat they can make a seat cover for it. Stay safe.

    I'm just on the fence about the DCT. I mean 1K price difference is a big deal., and I already know how to ride a manual. What do you think about reselling it? DCT more desirable?

    • @navimaclife
      @navimaclife  8 месяцев назад

      I think it’s personal preference. It’s not about not knowing how to ride manual. It’s just about me getting on and enjoying the automatic transmission. If you’re on the fence, I would say do not get the DCT. I love it tho. Thanks for watching.

    As a beginner with my only riding experience being a mst course.. Do you think it would be unwise to get this bike and grow into it with the lower powered modes (rain for a couple months, then to standard). I need a DCT due to physical reasons and don’t want to get a lower CC bike, only to want an upgrade shortly after. What’s your honest opinion?

    • @navimaclife
      @navimaclife  Месяц назад +1

      Yes, I think it would be suitable to get this and keep it in rain mode. Wear some safety gear and maybe practice a lot in huge abandoned parking lots or quiet country roads. You’ll be fine. Just have confidence and watch those cars! Thanks for watching

    2 months ago I bought a Harley Heritage with 1960cc engine (114ci). It weighs 720 lb.
    After 75 mph, vibration from the engine becomes uncomfortable.
    Every time coming back home to New York City from my trips, I hit the traffic on Hudson River crossings, finding neutral on Harleys is not easy task, overheated Air Cooled huge engine sends heat waves in your face while sitting in traffic, gas tank is so whide, you basically have to sit in a split position all the time and legs get real tired, and you have to go through all that while frantically trying to find that elusive neutral position so you can give your clutch hand a brake...
    After 2 months of all this, now looking for the Honda DCT transmission... heavy Harleys are not suitable for tight City traffic...

    • @navimaclife
