Magical Labyrinth: Wall Shadow
Normal Spell
Rearrange your opponent's monsters in their monster zones as you see fit, then, if you control a "Labyrinth" card, Special Summon 1 "Wall Shadow" from your Hand or Deck, ignoring summoning conditions, also, it cannot be destroyed by battle, and any monster that battles it is sent to the GY after Damage Calculation. You can banish this card from your GY to move "Wall Shadow" to any unoccupied monster Zone on your side of the field. You can only use each effect of "Magical Labyrinth: Wall Shadow" once per turn.

There's a reason why not a single Duelist on Earth uses the actual Legacy support Konami releases (Bakura's new Destiny Board/Necrofear/Diabound support, Weevil's new Ultra Cocoon/Insect Queen, Bandit Keith's new machine stuff, Pegasus's Millenium Eyes support, Red-Eyes trash support, post 2016 Blue-Eyes support, etc). It's because it FUCKING SUCKS! IT'S TRASH. IT'S PATHETIC. IT MAY AS WELL NOT EVEN EXIST. As far as I'm concerned, Sky Strikers and the meta are still more broken than the cards I made.

This episode prooved that Syrus is an underrated character even if Jaden did help him he won the match and in season 2 he almost beat Zane who is 10 times better than him and he is one of the best proggresing characters in the yugioh franchise like yuma. He envolved from an unsecure and unconfident characters to an obelisk blue from all the rank up he did all with his skill
This episode just proved that the plot armor is strong with Syrus. That fusion monster was also the wackest thing I have ever seen. A cute little UFO and a winged cyber beast man fuse into a monster that is just the beast man riding a hoover scooter? And somehow has 4000 attack points? Then ass pulls to 8000 attack points the same turn? lol That joke of a monster can shit on Obelisk.

That’s the one thing I thought was dumb, Syrus convinced Jaden to not rank up to Ra Yellow because they wouldn’t be able to hang out as much. But Syrus took it without question. When it didn’t even matter because they could still hang out at each other dorms
@@thejedioutcast804 It gains the total attack of the monsters used to summon it. UFOroid is already at 1200 attack so you got to fuse it with something big. You're forced to use a crappy roid monster so that's kind of the balancing to it.

The only reason Syrus falls into all the trapsis because he went before Jaden so they get a chance to activate the trap on him before they get the chance to use it on Jaden.

Just in case anyone's wondering why the fuck Jaden attacked with tempest:
It's explained in the sub. Since they can't share strategies with each other, he was trying to show Syrus that you don't have to destroy a monster for the opponent to lose life points. The move WAS basically pointless, but it gave Syrus the confidence to use power bond.
That makes sense.
And to show him that he can use his partner's monsters to summon his own, since Jaden sacrificed his face-down card.
I mean... I knew when I watched it because I paid attention back then. The dub explains it too.

Hmm. Jaden could have used Spark Blaster to put Defense Wall into attack mode (you can use it 3 times, no once-per-turn limit), then Syrus could have attacked Gate Guardian with Drillroid and saved Shield Crush for later ... if I recall how all this works right.
Sadly Drillroid doesn't destroy defense position monsters without damage calculation. They would have used shield crush regardless.
Plus the brothers would have used gate garudisns effect

So apparently some people believe Drilloid doesn't apply damage calculation when attacking a defense monster in the anime. 8:00 says otherwise.

i figured out how the paradox brothers would have won their duel; they shouldn't have summoned a monster that can't be destroyed in battle.

I still don’t understand the first attack with Tempest? All it did was end up wasting Syrus’ facedown card. Which then meant the next tie with Dark Guardian meant he had to get rid of Skyscraper. Am I missing something??
Dub does a horrible (non-existent) job of explaining it, but in the Japanese sub it's explained that Judai was trying to help Sho without breaking the 'no strategising' rule of the Tag Duel.
More specifically, he was showing that he had to sacrifice a card to keep Tempest, prompting the Paradox Brothers to attack it, so he in turn could sacrifice Skyscraper to save Tempest again but this time also take battle damage, that way Sho would see that you can still deal damage without a monster being destroyed by battle.
This ultimately helped because come Sho's turn he recognised that playing Power Bond would result in enough battle damage to win, even though Dark Guardian wouldn't be destroyed.

Cause Jaden is terrible lol.
He attacked Dark Guardian with Tempest to demonstrate to Syrus that you don't have to destroy the Monster to win. Since he wasn't allowed to verbally share strategies, he had to SHOW Syrus how they could win.
In the end, it paid off, as Syrus ultimately wins them the Duel.

Apparently it was cause he wanted to give a hint as to what to do with tempest without explicitly telling him what to do. And he wanted the follow up attack to occur so that syrus would see damage can still occur to monsters not destroyed by battle
I saw somebody else say that the eng sub explains it better, basically they couldn't share strategies or crucial info mid duel so he did it as a pointer/hint.
@@DearDanny so how it goes is you cant directly share information with one another in a tag duel because that would be against the rules…so by attacking Dark Guardian head-on he gave Cyrus a hint as to how they were going to win which was with a much stronger monster.
The really dumb thing at that moment was that they had Spark Blaster, which could have switched Dark Guardian to defense, and Drillroid, which could have destroyed it with his effect.
Everyone is stupid.

When Drillroid attacked and it Auto destroyed the Wall monster, they lost 500 of their 1700 LP, so if that is the case, using the effect to attack Gate Guardian in Defense Mode, they would have destroyed Gate Guardian, but loss 1800 LP, costing them the duel, right?
They didnt attack gate guardian tho, they attacked that Wall thingy, Gate guardian was destroyed with the spell card shield crush which doesnt cost anything
What gets me is this…Drillroid used its ability to destroy defense wall, how did they take damage?
@@redrazorx-23 That's how "before damage calculation(ur already in the damage step here)" works if I'm not mistaken, the effect is destroying the defence monster but the actual battle is different from effect, it's different from Steamroid forexample which his effect directly affects the battle(during damage step(again ur already in the damage step here)),another example is Neo-Spacian Grand mole, which can have his effect applied at the start of the damage step, so when both monster are returned to their owners respective hand no damage happens as it was in the start of the damage step but didnt enter the damage step still(so no damage calculation), ik the explanation is shit😂😅

@@redrazorx-23 Yeah it does, if u play any yu gi oh game read the card's description, for Drillroid it says "Before Damage Calculation, if this card attacks a Defense Position monster: Destroy that monster."

@@nightmarepenguin2370 all of Marik's penalty games were reversed when he surrendered. The only characters ever that were never reversed from their penalty game were Bonz and his gang (Bakura, reversing unconfirmed).
