@@sweetharmonies No, because "wessel" was an accent. The character was saying the correct word but with an accent. The video narrator had no accent and used the wrong terms. A photon and a proton are two distinctly different things. Understand?
Every? Organians. Metrons. Travelers. Douwd. Caretakers. This video was good but Every doesn't mean 'a few'. Oh and the big green hand people. And the Gamesters of Triskillon....The city on the edge of forever portal aliens. See what you do to people when your stuff isn't precise. I'll be waking up thinking about superadvanced god aliens in Star Trek. That guy that lived on the planet with his wife but actually genocided a civilization because he was a god. The big jellyfish alien in the first episode. Someone stop me.
Lol @ people like, 'this one alien is godlike enough to be categorized as a godlike alien, imo" and still say nothing about that time when the TOS Enterprise literally met a Greek god.
I will say you got one thing wrong, in Star Trek they are Photon Torpedoes and in Star Wars they are Proton Torpedoes. They function completely different and have completely different warheads.
If you ever get the chance, read the book Q2, Q squared. Its a StarTrek book that goes way more into the Q and the other super being's such as the big head at the center of the Galaxy. Probably one of my favorite book ever actually.
I do love how they dealt with the Pah-Wraiths…”we banish you! To this planet we love…that’ll never potentially backfire…shit…ummm…k…we need orchestrate someone’s birth I guess to stop that?” Also yes. A vid, or vids, on the Dominion war wouldn’t be unwelcome either.
The giant head that Kirk, Spock, McCoy and Sybok found on Shakari does have an origin in Trek lore and it is know who put him there. If you read the Q Continuum Books you learn that the being they found was put there by the Continuum for his misdeeds. Its an interesting set of books and give some good insight into why Q does what he does to humanity.
Your analysis is limited and imprecise, and your (mis)pronunciations are painful to listen to (incorporeal, omnipotent, etc.). Star Trek consumers are demanding; you will have to do better to be successful.
Good video, would love to see a part 2. The Prophets are still the most mysterious and fascinating to look at. There's a comic "The Q Conflict" where Q wants to make things interesting so he gets the Prophets' attention and pretty much regrets it
I thought I was haveing a stroke at first cause I was sitting there listeing to venom geek media newest video then this plays. I check the channel and im just floored.
Another race like these was that one in Voyager where the away team had to roleplay the parts of a cheesy mystery novel. Data gambles enough to break the bank and buys the place. And in TOS there were those three entities that possessed Kirk, Spock and a guest star to experience physical senses. Oh, a minor entity, Red Jack or Jack the Ripper. The Lights of Zetar. V’ger. The whale probe of Star Trek IV (not sure this really qualifies though).
Give us unique! That’s the only thing that will separate you from other channels . Any trek fan (not to be a dick ) knows all this in today’s video . Go outside the box behind the scenes comic animation theories. You guys would kill it with being unique 😊
Maybe start your own channel and make your own videos that you want because most of us enjoy this content. I already know all this but I still enjoy hearing about it again. He puts a lot of work into videos and you just complain.
You missed the metta or Megatrons of the first show captain Kirk fought a gorn and then he met an entity probably equal to a Q but you don't see people talking about these God like entities.
I hate being this negative but this video was severely lacking in multiple aspects. The title is deceptive. None of the obviously well-known relevant entities characters or subjects were covered except for a pitiful few. The narration butchered the pronunciation of well-known subjects and places. There was very little insight into the subjects presented that a casual fan would not already know. Sound video and editing was okay. Overall D minus for lack of effort. Good luck next time.
If there is ever a second episode, you might mention the Daod. When the Enterprise D goes to Rannah, they meet the Uxbridges. Kevin Uxbridge is more than he seems, however; an immortal being of illusions who wiped out a whole species when his efforts to deceive them failed. He wiped all Hoosnach, everywhere, from reality.
Again, work on pronunciation. I don't know if you are using A.I. or you are reading a script of a universe you are not familiar with. Not downvoting but also not upvoting.
Don’t neglect Trelane’s people. Though it’s easy to classify them as Q, that’s taking an unimaginative route. Trelane was truly godlike, tossing the rogue planet Gothos around like a volleyball. His actions, however, were distinguishable from the Q. He needed an elaborate steampunk-style device behind a mirror to properly project his power. It could have just been a “toy,” but he needed it in working order to play kickball with Gothos. Perhaps the most telling piece was the appearance of Trelane’s parents, who undulated & swirled in otherworldly mirror-like luminescence, as un-Q as it gets. The parents’ dialogue with Kirk was reminiscent of something provincial from “Father Knows Best,” stating that they didn’t realize humans were so vulnerable to their progeny. These, like the Organians & Metrons, were Gene Roddenberry’s first godlike races. The Q came later & it’s a shame that many enthusiasts wish to shoehorn these two races into one. The universe is more than vast enough to hold a bevy of gods, with many more to come in the infinity of the imagination.
I wish CBS would put this guy in charge of Star Trek for a season, it would be an antimatter trainwreck! I'd have to wear a Captain Kirk girdle so I wouldn't hurt myself when I laugh and fall out of my chair, I wouldn't miss an episode, this guy brings being wrong to an art form!
Half of your pronunciation makes me wonder if you've ever seen the shows or are just as voiceover with no fan oversight
It’s jarring. That and the perplexing unfamiliarity with Roman numerals
Sounds like an AI
You never heard of Ghoul Dewcat? :D
@@davidmgilbreathit’s a voice over actor
And for the record its Photon Torpedo not "proton".
Next you’ll say it’s nuclear “vessel” and not “wessel”.

That guy was a Douwd.
Also that alian in ToS that lived off hate and had Klingons fight federation on Enterprise.
Lol @ people like, 'this one alien is godlike enough to be categorized as a godlike alien, imo" and still say nothing about that time when the TOS Enterprise literally met a Greek god.
Don't forget Ngelim, the entity that was killing crew one by one.
Uh, the 'god' Apollo from TOS. Treylane (assumed to be a Q now). Some of the stuff from early seasons of TNG. Rodenberry sure did like this trope.

Just off the top of my head... What about Onaya, Nagilum, the Metrons, V'Ger, or the Douwd/Kevin Uxbridge?
The Q Civil War started with Q assisting in the death of Quinn in Star Trek Voyager. Q JR was born in the Voyager series.
Some very strange pronounciations of Star Trek things in that video... did you actually watch these shows and hear how things were pronounced?
You are geetsly

Nicely done but I was hoping for more then the big three.

Metrons
It makes sense to say the being in star trek V could of been a Q trapped on the planet
