Just ordered a bunch of the Caron cakes, trying to figure out how to smuggle them into the house without my husband seeing them. I got the cloud cakes, the tea cakes, the crystal cakes, and the lava cakes. I'm super excited to get them but they were all on sale today so I bought 27 cakes.... I need to get busy. I can buy yarn faster than I can crochet!🤣🤣
😂 We are kindred spirits. Although lately I do less sneaking because I now justify my yarn habit, because: I don’t get manicures; don’t color my hair; don’t do Botox and I’m not a lady who lunches. So there. 😝. I’m actually saving money by buying yarn.

Crystal, you are nuts! You look great in a slouchy hat!!!. That yarn is beautiful too. Also, I want to say I love that you have no affiliations with any yarns. Even the lion brand yarns coming out you will not be profiting from...it's that you have such a good heart that is so appealing.

My all-time favorite was "Sheep-ish" a 70:30 acrylic:wool blend. I made so many gorgeous hats with it using the "women's peaked cap" pattern from... Caron, iirc....
My cloud cakes arrived today and I love them! I ran to michaels and got three more because of the deal michaels is currently having. It’s so nice!

Love Caron Cakes now that I have watched your reviews on them. Im no longer allowed to buy anything else. No way of sneaking them into our home either. Used to get my extended family members helping in buying whatever i needed while on sales. However hubby eventually found out i was hiding them in middle bedroom in bins and boxes. I no longer buying anything. Money is very tight due to one last child in college still. Enjoy seeing your video's I learning so very much. I just ordered some Carron cakes some was the cloud cakes. Can’t wait to see them when they arrive doesn’t look like any polyester, thought that I read that is what it was made of. Beautiful scarf and hat.

Thanks for going into more details about the Caron Cakes. It may sound strange, but I have never had the opportunity to try these before, and would LOVE to try them. Praying that I will get to soon! Yes ,I touched this yarn as soon as I opened the box and it is soooo soft OMG I love these cakes and Michaels had or has them all on sale!!! I have the same problem as Angela and every time I try to curb my yarn buying they force sales on me from everywhere 😮 so I buy more. I have however been good for quite sometime now😊 Crystal your scarf is beautiful I love that it's very long, a front load washer on delicate would probably be ok.

I think this yarn feels like a cashmere button down sweater that my grandma gave me 45 years ago. I always hand wash it and lay flat to dry. It has completely held its shape and condition all these years later. Wearable all year, no itching in warm weather! So I Love ❤️ this yarn ❣️❣️

After watching this video, I ordered a couple of the cakes. I am using one now and I love it.
I had done a waffle stitch in the cinnamon and Loved it. I went on Michael's one day this week and they had a one day online only buy 2 get 1 free deal. Man I wish I'd had more funds. I got 3 kelp and 3 cream solid. I would love to get all the colors.

I just received my order of 2 cakes. Even with it being roving style, it doesn't seem like a 4 weight; I'd say it's a solid 3 weight. Softest yarn on the planet, I won't argue that!
