I can't believe you hear: 20% basedmg to musket and are like "that's fine". This is insane change it makes musket's powder burn have: almost slow cap, strong DoT and 32% (!!!!) basedmg increase.... That is death sentence in OPR and all it took was landing 1 shot. Yeah, seems balanced.
Oh yeah... i main rapier and i mostly go evade rapier.
Evade/Flurry/F&F has always been my preferred playstyle. Now that we get a bleed from the flourish... its gonna be insane
I just checked the data and it’s confirmed they clueless. Turns out 6k player base shows this balance of power shit is whack.
Season 4 i ran keen berserk on my hatchet and won every fair trade, and allowed me to get super aggressive in 1vX. Completely slept on perk. But doesnt matter, because mounts there are no fights like this any more in OPR, you just get jumped on too fast
With what some people can do with GS/hatchet, do we really want something like daggers? A class designed specifically to disrupt AND survive.
how does crit chance cap??? if you have magnetic gloves 50% is aready cap and keen or crit retribution does not needed with the magnetic gloves, or can you have 7% weapon, 11% crit retribution, and 50% maginetic and all stacs for 68% and even the plus 7% from weap perk soh it would go to 74%?
Yea and you gain an additional weapon’s base crit to the crit chance every time you don’t crit

There's lots of self healing procs on weapons from crits
90% of what these guys talked about makes no sense. They need you in there Mecrow, they have no idea how to balance the game lmao. THE DATA SHOWS, shows what? How incompetent you guys are at reading it?

You know I run rapier, and can confirm, its big damage if you hit all combos.
do u really not realise how good musket has become!? and how many players are now useing Musket!? hell, there r even whole companies of musket playas, one very good one too. Musket has been on the rise for awhile now, and with the newest changes, having better faster accuracy and having the 20% damage on basically all musket combo rotations.. thats huge! they also said they dont want bow to be too much burst and too much dots.. but musket basically can do that now even better! more effects as well as high burst damage.. and all that from as far away as possible.. ha. the return of starwars is here brotha.. and even in wars, ur clump is gonna start being peppered by muskets, doing all sorts of nastiness to ya.. haha
BB Not that Strong? - Then why is it that when the 5 man groups log into OPR they often are running lots of BB and they own the OPRs. So often when a match is really offsided BB seems to be the difference
on another note: I wish AGS would understand that data needs to be understood in the context of actual play mechanics.

BB it's only for Netshot... and most BBs are paired with FS, so yeah

As you said at the end of the video. They continue to erode any confidence that the community has when they say they "play" their game. AGS has consistently refused to bring in war experts to understand the optimized builds and use that to make informed decisions about balance. They don't have to conform to the opinions of war players but at least understand why people are doing what they are doing. Base health vs max health is a perfect example. Everything with base health is fucking useless
So light armor block stability buffed to -10% vs -15% and light armor no longer has +10% cc duration. So they have effectively removed the cons of light equip load and left the cons on heavy equip load. Nice bait and switch AGS well played😅😅

The mechanic needs a rework or something cause using it puts at a disadvantage from every other weapon artifact.
BB burst is good if the abilities hit. Problem is that the opponent need to be deaf and blind to get hit by them.
BB autos hit for nothing and cooldowns are long. Firestaff basically does everything better, no need to bother with blunderbuss for anything else than utility.
One of BBs problems is that its pretty strong against unexperienced and bad players, which causes people to still ask for nerfs, since they actually managed to get killed by BB abilities. Sometimes you meet noobs in OPR that still get hit by every splitting grenade. Insane.
Most good players stopped getting killed by main dmg BBs 1 + year ago and know how to easily counter it by now.
BB is barely being used as a main dmg weapon in EU OPR. I dont think any competetive company run main damage BBs in wars, atleast not more than 1.

They're going to buff siege weapons and keep mounts in opr.....the dumbest mechanic which allows anyone to get stomped is mounts. Mounts are forcing OPR into massive healer balls now and the game play is just so stupid
Would be great if you didn't always talk over when the Dev is answering the question. Perhaps you can pause the source video and then speak a bit about your thoughts, otherwise I have no idea what you are talking about and what the Dev is saying (other than I have to read the subtitles quickly when I pause the whole video myself). Other than that - great review as usual Mecrow. Ps. BB does less dmg if you count it "per minute" but what BB does is surely a much higher burst damage that can be called a high spike damage and that is very strong in pvp - hence I think the Devs are right not to re-buff it again (sorry to disagree with you on that one)

@@mecr0w What I didnt say though is that I am utmost impressed whenever you make videos to explain how armor or damage works and what is better and what is worse as you always present most substantial and very detailed information. Nobody does it as well as you do. Seriously.

What is the justification for those bow nerfs? What? If it's a problem that the weapon can do sustained damage and burst damage from a distance, why do you give the weapon 3 abilities with a DoT? LOL? Was a single person upset about bow having DoTs? The only thing I ever hear people complain about is that some bows fully invest in DoTs for pad and don't ever kill anything XD
I would love to be able to have a new burst ability in place of poison shot. Instead we nerf an already useless playstyle and ability. They already make it so that you're forced to take evasive tactics or else you have (literally) no built in empower compared to pretty much every other DPS weapon.
You are either a bow player or you just hate the fk out of the weapon apparently. Even the devs.
Edit: So funny to me how every other weapon gets buffs to cater to whatever the "worse" PvP playstyle is, but bow actively has its worse playstyle nerfed. Lol.
I think it’s because most players use the worse passive since it’s easier to use… it’s so hard to justify it tbh.
@@mecr0w Well... the worse passive is harder to use. Maybe I misunderstand you though. You either take the capstone with 15% empower for 5s after dodging (left tree) or the capstone with 20% base damage on headshots (right tree). Everybody takes the empower. Last time I saw a build with the headshot damage was when sand worm first came out, and even then it was a PvE build lol.
And even worse, since the only other way to get empower on a bow is from VG or armor perks, most of your options for hitting 50% involve you dodging anyway (at which point you'd want the 15% empower on dodge instead anyway).
Bow has almost no build variety beyond what abilities you run, and they're reducing even that by nerfing poison shot.
Why do you choose games with pathetic devs
