Hello. If I have screenshots, photos and various other on android in separate albums, will the albums transfer to the iPhone? Or all photos will be in the "last" tab?
@@yudhistiradito I didnt switched to iphone. I switched to S23 Ultra and I am super happy. But if you want to transfer all your data from Android to iPhone in a segregated way, I would transfer each photo album separately (or photos from each album separately) and then create the same album on iPhone by adding photos to it.

So it’s not only showed on recent but literally all albums were moved and well organized based on the date of pics taken (especially from camera album). @stockstnt8 I ended up transferring my accounts and basic data through the "move to ios" app and for music I just could drag and drop through iTunes and it took care of it, for photos and videos I had to make a folder and then connect the iTunes app to sync with the folder.
Would I switch the SIM card from my Android phone into a new IPhone first before doing this data transfer, or do you move the SIM card over once transfer and setting up I phone is complete?

Mine has been sitting for 5 minutes, and still hasn't started to transfer. Android phone shows, " time remaining...estimating.." The iPhone shows 10 minutes remaining, but hasn't started either. Is there something wrong?
Troubleshooting : if what u need is the text messages (not images docs etc) ... just delete all your whatsapp "storage" in your android phone. or u can cut paste them to harddisk first. then BACKUP whatsapp on your android phone. it should leave u with remaining data around tenths to 100mb. Last step : restart both phones. Then do exactly like mentioned in this video.

People none of these vids are telling you that you can just switch your SIM card if you running phones with SIM cards instead of going through problems with move to iOS and ya keep getting error messages like I did all night and then I go to the T-Mobile store and the rep just switched the sim and told me if ya have to get more files out of ya droid just create a Dropbox for them and transfer them that way so for all of you wondering switching ya SIM card before doing anything else may save you slot of time

Generic information. No mention of how long it should take. YES, it depends on the amount of data but give estimates based on data. For example, it's been over an hour for what is apparently 2 GB of text messages and nowhere close to being done. Does that seem reasonable? Still says 4 hours + remaining. Too Long? Those apps have their own backup methods you have to login to each one and import your backed up data again

Wow 10 mins is great we get like 10 hours!! Then it starts and stops at 5hours, 6hrs etc n never moves again

I’d say you’d transfer the sim once you have all the desired data transferred.
Put it in right away. It really doesn't matter though, you can do it after too. And at one point it will even prompt you to do so

I would recommend before since you could have some contacts saved to the SIM card in question.
What if want to trade android for iPhone. So how would you transfer data with just the android before selling it to then getting the iPhone?

On android, Save the contacts to your sim. Then on iPhone you can import from sim
