I'm really waiting for the year to be done but from whats already been released this year I have three so far.
3. Hermanos Gutierrez-Sonido Còsmico
2. Charlie Bereal- 11-11-11
1. Thee Sinseers- Sinseerly Yours
All very different from each other but amazing. Thee Sinseers debut LP on the list is the best chicano soul that has come out in a long time, and it touches your soul. Charlie Bereal is a soul artist, but this is like a Funky Gospel record. It's like if George Clinton went gospel, but stayed funky. And Hermanos Gutierrez record is amazing guitar work and transports you to another world. We'll see what makes my top 5 at the end of the year though

As a "Swiftie Dad" totally agree on TTPD. It's a grower, but I think it may be her best album to date. Dark Matter got me back into Pearl Jam after 30 years. Looking forward to checking out some of your other picks I haven't listened to yet.
