Thank you brother, the issue was about the battery and I reversed as you mentioned, despite that I was using on my phone before I reversed to + and it was working , but this time i wanted to use it in the computer and it didnt work, thanks man again

For those who are still struggling, if you have the Realtek High definition audio microphone - open up your sound settings and make sure that both the microphone and the Realtek stereo mix is enabled. The microphone worked when switched to smartphone mode once i done this. When trying the method in the video, the voice configuration just seemed to be recording from the built in microphone. So depending on the mic software your laptop uses it might not work. Hope this helps.

I tried this solution too. But still almost no sound. I already checked the battery, the volume, the DB+... I really don't know what to do anymore. The microphone works fine on my dslr or phone, but in the computer always fail.
@@kokushibo3254 Unfortunately this mic need a better phantom power or a better audioboard in the pc. I bought another mic with usb connection (Fifine K669B) The Boya is my mic only for my videos shooted with my dslr.

I record it in a noise area beside road side.. that's why It capture more external noise... be careful, always use this mic in a silent environment another thing is my sound driver is uinstall acidently. make sure that all of your pc system driver are up to date... This microphone don't need any kind of driver software....But if your pc or laptop comes with pre installed realtek audio driver or similar kind of software..Then it is safe side to install the software first...but in 95% cases the microphone don't need any external software.just plugged the microphone in to the microphone jack ( a blue / green colour hole)..you can easily find the microphone jack using your laptop manual and using internet also...you have to insert the microphone to the proper port otherwise your pc don't recognize it as a microphone...be careful..after inserting... 1) Make sure that you properly insert the Microphone battery.
2) Insert the Microphone into the proper audio jack or port. Sometimes all ports
does not supported this kind of Microphone. So as a solution you have to buy an
another port adapter, for that purpose you have to do a lot Google search on
that.
3)There a dedicated switch on this Microphone, by pressing that switch you can
interchange between PC/Laptop mode to mobile or vice versa. Make sure that
you press the switch which is located in the body of the Microphone.
4) You should install the required driver for this Microphone in your usable device.
After following those above mention instructions, I hope you overcome your bad situation.

For those who are still struggling, if you have the Realtek High definition audio microphone - open up your sound settings and make sure that both the microphone and the Realtek stereo mix is enabled. The microphone worked when switched to smartphone mode once i done this.
When trying the method in the video, the voice configuration just seemed to be recording from the built in microphone. So depending on the mic software your laptop uses it might not work. Hope this helps.

I tried this solution too. But still almost no sound. I already checked the battery, the volume, the DB+... I really don't know what to do anymore. The microphone works fine on my dslr or phone, but in the computer always fail.

have to use any driver software like realtek audio driver? pls suggest
This microphone don't need any kind of driver software....But if your pc or laptop comes with pre installed realtek audio driver or similar kind of software..Then it is safe side to install the software first...but in 95% cases the microphone don't need any external software.just plugged the microphone in to the microphone jack ( a blue / green colour hole)..you can easily find the microphone jack using your laptop manual and using internet also...you have to insert the microphone to the proper port otherwise your pc don't recognize it as a microphone...be careful..after inserting... Just follow me video.... Relax, it's a minor problem you can easily resolve this issue.
Actually, your computer is perfect, there no problem in it. Windows OS is written very efficiently. It can easily detect your Microphone. And the notification 'you plugged in audio device' is perfect also, I also get this same notification on my computer whenever I plugged in any Microphone device on my Computer/Laptop.
Windows OS never prompt/give "You Insert a Microphone", this type of notification on your Computer/Laptop.
Make sure that you insert the Microphone into the correct port of your Computer/Laptop. And install all necessary drivers for the Microphone. Because sometimes bad driver and corrupted system files may get you into trouble.
And also sure that you insert the battery of the Microphone perfectly. Because this is one of the crucial steps that you need to do.

Actually normal microphone has some switchable button , by pressing this button you can convert the mode to PC to mobile or vice versa that's it.
Make sure that you press the switch to PC option. I remember this settings when I see it in my Boya m1 mic.

Another thing I suggest you that you can check their official website for more information about the working procedure and functionalities.

Relax, it's a minor problem you can easily resolve this issue.
Actually, there is no specific option to boost the microphone. You have to do it by the default volume control.
I give you a brief example, when you insert the Microphone into your Computer/Laptop then the default audio is changed to Microphone from speaker.
Just click the same icon of speaker because now it's converted to Microphone and from this you can control the volume.
But before inserting the Microphone you should follow these instructions --
1) Make sure that you properly insert the Microphone battery.
2) Insert the Microphone into the proper audio jack or port. Sometimes all ports
does not supported this kind of Microphone. So as a solution you have to buy an
another port adapter, for that purpose you have to do a lot Google search on
that.
3)There a dedicated switch on this Microphone, by pressing that switch you can
interchange between PC/Laptop mode to mobile or vice versa. Make sure that
you press the switch which is located in the body of the Microphone.
4) You should install the required driver for this Microphone in your usable device.
After following those above mention instructions, I hope you overcome your bad situation.

1) Make sure that you properly insert the Mic into the correct port of your laptop (audio port looks pink , green)
2) and also sure that you successfully install the Audio Driver of your laptop.. sometimes Driver can cause this type of problem..
3) the main thing is you have to properly insert the battery which comes along with the Boya Mic... many people forget to insert the battery .....in 90% case the Mic is not detected due to this issue...

This type of problem often happens due to lack of proper software. Make sure that you updates your Laptop sound drivers and this also happens when the audio port which you inserted into may be broken or some any other hardware issue.
I suggest you to use your new Boya m1 mic on any other computer or Laptop. If this issue still exist on another Laptop/Computer then I suggest you to return it or replace it, because now a days most of the online E-commerce website have ten days replacement policy.
