The one thing I remember from London was Tesla rising up from the earth, looking around for like, 15 seconds, and then being like "Well, I'm off to murder ALL THE GODS.", and then proceeding to ascend into the sky on a staircase made of lightning.
Low key completely forgot about that. Also tamamo and kintoki were there and so was lalter. What the hell was happening in London?

London is a masterclass of how not to write a story. So far no one even mentioned Shakespeare or Mephistopheles (who appeared for literally a scene and was forgotten five minutes later)
I was there when one of the demon pillars was killed ten million times in about four hours because he had the dumbass idea to drop demon hearts when killed. I may have been personally responsible for about 200 of those. Thank you kind stranger with the NP5 Bond 10 Skill 10/10/10 Golden Boy.
I wasn't able to get to Solomon before the raids ended, but you can bet I was beating the shit out of him during the Case Files event.

I remember Solomon fondly. Dick wizard’s banner had dropped on the first day and he was instrumental in the many deaths of the world’s loudest piñata. I can still hear his screams...and it was great.

Second Singularity: The Rise of UMU/Padoru
you forgot the most important part about camelot, infinite rice man and titty monk who were both extremely important and did stuff i swear
Sad Titty Monk was removed from the stage play. Totally forgot Rice Man was also there.

When Spartacus Iron Giant'd a giant attack by rebelling gravity.
Most of the extra cast in London.
Everything in the Ocean singularity like Hercules being killed by a box or Atalante being there.
Most of the bizarre stuff that happened in America, like Nightingale carrying Rama across America on foot, both ways, twice in a few days.
Tity Monk resulted in me a story support user and then noob actually clearing the game faster by NPing straight away and for that I was very thankful. She stopped the mobs dragging every fights out to 18 turns.

🎅Oh I remember those early FGO days like they were yesterday.
Starting a day one account, being stupid and not rerolling for Jeanne or Waver. Not knowing how to ascend for a good while and just entering with Emiya and Mash. Relying on the support list for my DPS. The regrets I had when we didn’t had a back button in battle. The regrets of not getting the Nero Fest CE or the Bond shop CE. Getting Jeanne but failing to get Gill’s edgy OC. Losing my Log in streak cause of the Jeanne Lily maintenance. Losing my first account cause I forgot to get write down my account code when my phone failed. Starting a new one, and getting Jalter, just to turn on my phone on a whim and retrieving my old account. Then having to chose the vanilla Jeanne account over the Jalter account. Then getting cucked when Apocrypha aired and finding out Jeanne character kinda sucks. And then there was Solomon, failing to get Merlin, Failing to beat that certain raid boss early, then finding out Merlin wouldn’t get a rate up for over a year. Good times good times.
London is a mess because it was in that awkward transitory phase where Type-Moon was actually starting to take FGO somewhat seriously but DW hadn't quite gotten their shit in order. That said, I still consider London much better than Orleans and Septem, mostly because of the cast. They're a diverse bunch that have a ton of personality range, Hans being a jackass was strangely refreshing since he could actually get shit done, and Tesla and Solomon absolutely stole the show in my book.
Also my future mother/father in law, Artoria Lancer Alter, shows up and judges me and her son/daughter for hanging out together, which I tend to fixate on for sentimental because after *THREE FUCKING YEARS OF PLAYING FGO* Mordred was my first 5-star Saber, so I love her dearly.
I did Solomon when it drop out, remenber Barbadead dying really fast and the chaos that was the 3 legendary banners(Merlin, Gramps and Musashi) for people to choose and how i planned to go only for gramps and got the other 2 instead
Coming from a guy who was there to do it
Solomon raids were super hype, everyone coming to play together for the final battle
Plus Barbatos drops were too good to pass up

The part that confused me the most about Solomon was when we act like we've known Dantes for years and are good old buddies but like... I had never seen him before, ever? I was so confused.
I think those guys are all event characters. Characters like Shuten and Ibaraki were a part of Oniland event, Illya and Chloe were from the Prisma Illya crossover event, etc.
I had a blast watching this! Please do more.

Would you do these story recaps but with events i think it be good just like this. I think it would be funny to do them by year since i barely remember the events of the first and second year. But it would probably be better to group them by content i.e. all the gudaguda together, all the Halloween together, etc
My favorite moment in the singularities is when Thomas Edison leads a genocidal campaign against the Irish with his robot army and he is technically the good guy. That was just wild lmao

the bullying of the Pillars was so fun. Discord and Amino was so funny at that time.
Salomon was fun wish they relaunched it as an event periodically, would be a great community thing.
I'm so sad that London was so iffy story wise because I love almost all of the characters in that one. They added so many characters in it, that they had to put a chunk of them in the corner to focus on one for about one section, and because of how many characters they decided to put in, the end ended up feeling really rushed. Which sucks! We could have gotten the two murderers who committed their crimes only two years apart (Hyde and Jack) to interact somehow, maybe they could have used Lacnetoria Alter as foreshadowing for Camelot, maybe more screen time for Hyde (He got less screentime than himself), I don't know, man. But I really think that the main issue of the story was how many characters they added

You know if you want to experience the singularity the best way read the manga
Are you for real or not? Just want to know cause while I do appreciate them i personally like the story in the game more than the manga. I mean they skip rome anyways so they don't really improve arguably the worst singularity and I'm not the biggest fan of the changes to okeanus. But that doesn't mean their bad cause there are some things I actually like in the manga. So just want to know if you really think manga is the best way to go.
@@josephwilliams9030 well to me at least they improve on the earlier singularities. It fleshes out characters like kiyohime and most importanly the mc. Also its also nice to see whats happening.
@@frogking307 that's true, my only problem would be fans only reading the manga and thinking that's how it actually went down in game. But if we're being honest if you even found the manga to start reading in the first place you probably already read a good chunk of the game anyways so it probably wouldn't even matter.

yes he was killed by Altera after he summoned her, he keeps resurrecting though, he's also the 1st boss in Solomon's Temple, though I don't think he appeared in London it was actually a young Zouken (the bug man from heavens feel) who appeared and even summoned Artoria Alter (Lancer), and Tesla

Why do people hate London? It's one of my favorite pre-Camelot Singularities.
Mostly because the storytelling is bad in it. Coming off of Okeanus which was a grand adventure, evil fog with a shoved in evil corporation thing just isn’t great. Plus someone reminded me that Tesla appears in this singularity and just is like “I’m evil now” then kintoki and tamamo show up because??? It’s just so all over the place it’s hard to remember all of it. If you enjoyed it though, more power to you, I can respect that

YES! Finally someone else who finds London boring. From a writing standpoint, it was the least interesting part of the story to date. It's a mess from both plot and characters without anyone really standing out. I remember just wishing it to be over as I played through it.
As well, glad to see Septem got some time to shine instead of just mocked. I personally think Septem was fine. Wasn't perfect but I enjoyed the singularity well enough.

I didn't even know people hated Septem so much. I give it the pass because it was their second real singularity so they were still figuring out what to do. But then Okeanus was amazing so to follow that up with London...
