I do hope this helps to relieve the stress around not knowing what you may walk into when patients are buzzing, and you can start to feel amazing for helping out, as well as gain so many valuable clinical experiences. Do you have any experiences you want to share of answering patient call bells? I remember the first one I answered, and the first thing I blurted out was "I am a student nurse" ... as if to say, "...so don't ask me anything too complicated!" haha!! It gets so much easier the more you answer those calls for help. Take care all! :) Ben
Is there a call bell that a quadriplegic with no muscle strength to push a button that sleeps with a bipap where the mask covers the whole mouth and nose that can’t talk can use to alert a caregiver for help?
