you should try getting the outer layer off in one big chunk like its own jar get the inside layers off and the rim at the top(you also might need to do the handle) and then fill the jug with hot water and wait for the layer clisest to the jug to melt so you can slide off the wax! i think that would be satisfying
So satisfying!! And I love the “colour scheme” (although I know that’s probably not intentional, hahaha! Just wondering how there are so many different coloured layers on the inside. Wouldn’t those layers re-melt, every time you put new, warm wax in the jug?

I know it's such a mom thing to say, but please be careful with the knife. You shouldn't cut toward yourself. If you slip, there goes your knuckle.
I learned this the hard way and now have a very clear scar on my knuckle. So advise well deserved.

The warm wax isn't warm enough to melt the other wax in the span of time that the layers touch
