Are you intentionally soaking the carpet in mud first so you can show us how you wash it? because a carpet can't be that dirty unless it's specifically stained!

You can take half bucket of mud and pour water into it and then soak the carpet in that bucket of mud.

The word 'sewer' is off putting but floods have the same worry where the mud is concerned.

Why are these carpets always full of mud?
Flooding and sewer back ups, mostly. One of these channels is in Houston, and I'm sure that at that low sea level and with the terrific storms, both of those things happen quite a bit. What I don't understand is why they wouldn't shop vac the carpet thoroughly before even starting the washing part?

This carpet looks like it spent a week laying in the middle of a dirt road somewhere in a busy farm area. There is no way it could come that soiled even from a city street, let alone from any kind of indoor space, where most carpets normally stay their entire life

I don’t think I could ever trust that rug again after it being drowned in sewage, even after it being cleaned that thoroughly and it being so pretty. Not with my level of OCD. Touching it with bare hands like that made me cringe so hard… That just me?

I wonder why you, and other channels as well, don't shop vac the carpets very thoroughly to remove all the loose dirt possible before even getting into the washing. Seems like it would cut down on the cost of soap and water. Water ain't cheap these days. Also, why not set the carpet on a frame of chicken wire for the first sprays so that the dirt that falls through can escape and not just go to the floor and lie against the back of the carpet? All of these things would be just as interesting to watch.

Mostly in the trash. People don't just roll them up from the dining room.

If this carpet was in our house in Iran for a hundred years, maybe it wouldn't be so dirty for 200 years. You don't know the culture of the carpet. You should walk on it without shoes. If you want to walk with shoes, you should have special shoes for the house. It should be swept 2 times and washed once a year. What mud was this. I have never seen anything like this in my life. You should not walk on the carpet with your shoes when you go to the bathroom. Where was this carpet? It was on a wide street.
