I love my Apple Card. Everywhere I go outside of Walmart accepts Apple Pay so I easily get 2% on literally everything. Went to a couple music festivals recently, used it for merch and food/drinks and got a bunch of cash back on things I would’ve used my debit card for. Just hope I get to keep my HYSA as that’s my main savings account right now. But I’m staying optimistic!
For those at or over 5/24, would it be smart to get it before they move over to Chase? (Not that their Chase partnership is guaranteed)

So for Chase getting the Apple Card, there’s a few things I’d want to see:
-Apple Card’s exempt from 5/24 (like the Amazon Card)
-option to keep HYSA and forego UR points OR ditch HYSA and earn UR
-Remains no FTF.
I’m looking forward to it I’m well over LMAO/24 and getting in with Chase will be nice. I’ll be able to test drive their ecosystem and see how it plays out if I will desire more Chase cards. I have tons of other solid cards with other banks and I will finally get to see what the buzz with Chase is about.
I think if Chase could tie this into the current ecosystem it would be amazing. However I do see this being a little bit of a problem if this was somewhere on your credit card roadmap planner where you were above 5/24. Before it would be no problem, owned by GS. And for the general consumer, this shouldn’t be a problem. However if the sign up bonus or multipliers were enhanced to attracted more experienced credit card users like yourself, I can definitely see a bummer in it being added to the Chase ecosystem, being that we’re already most likely above 5/24.
I got plenty of use from this card when I ran cash back! Ease of use is amazing 👍🏼

So long as the card stays basically the same, I don't care what bank is behind it. I also use Chase and don't have a problem with them. It works.
Let’s take a minute and try to understand how a bank lost money on a CC? Maybe they can try and run a casino, see how that goes.
Amex and Chase already rejected the Apple Card in 2019. No bank is going to agree to easy approvals for everyone and no fees. Goldman was the only bank willing to accept those terms because they are an investment bank but they wanted to get into personal consumer banking and the Apple card was a door for them to do that; so it was a win-win, until Goldman realized all the money they were losing. The outcome with Goldman tells the other banks that they made the right decision to stay away.
You need a 700 credit score to get approved currently a lot of people don’t even have a 700 credit score
@@gerralld5211 Search on Google and you will find that FICO reports that the average credit score in the U.S. is 717; that's plenty enough people to become Apple cardholders so that Apple and Goldman can make money from; plus Apple has The Path to Apple Card Program to help someone get approved for the Apple Card in the future. No other credit card offers that kind of program.
That will be so cool if Apple Card users have access to Chase travel portal

The Chase Sapphire Reserve card is light years better than the Apple Card. Also if Goldman didn’t make money then why would Chase? Chase has all of the by now pay later so don’t think that will change.
I 100% agree. But those cards are for completely different people. One is a zero fee cashback card the other is a $550 annual fee premium travel card
I wonder how worried the banks are that one day, Apple will have a banking division? If I was them I would be. One of the most loved companies in the world fully into one of the most hated industries?
No.........Chase is a pain. Y'all may think is a good thing, but.....5/24 and many limits will get slashed.
