Well I am not a fan of the UI. It does have some appeal in that its a flashlight without UV and pesky toy features like a laser (having said that I realize I have an Arkfeld pro and two ultras). I have found that the RovyVon Flat form/wedge lights are the most useful, without gimmicks and well made. Seeing beam shots of this compared to similar lights, I think seventy dollars would be the max I would pay for this.
I did quite like the JETBean not because of the Laser or UV, but the side selector was good and the tail/base switch also worked quite well. The temptation is to put too much into models, I see it on some with multi lights, UV, laser etc. Not tried the RovyVon looks interesting. The retail on this seems lower then the Nitecore offerings with the OLED, thanks for your thoughts.
Horrible reverse UI. Don't need strobe, either, nor the 5 second nuances. I do wonder why they have glass-breakers, though... Do people regularly need to go round smashing windows in their EDC adventures? I know it's not a 'tactical' function, like they claim for "strike bezels", as such lights are usually weapon-mounted and sit well back from the muzzle, so you couldn't hit anything with them anyway... 😂
@@Sarrienne I'd like more practical designs and the user experience to be improved across brands. There's a strong marketing element to these products, sometimes it doesn't meet users needs because of that.

what a great channell.
best regards from germany
Thanks I try!
All these modes! Give me low med and high! Have to carry manual these days with each flashlight!
It's not too hard to pick up, but if you need all this stuff is open to debate (ie strobe modes etc)
Can I remove the ring on the K version?
1:37
did you try to remove it? @@MrBazReviews
@@HoangP257 Yes it just unscrews nothing sticks out when removed, there are just 2 circular indentations where the ring fits into

With the nano ceramic tips maybe they are trying to be different, as others don't offer it. The UI could certainly be improved as I mentioned.
@MrBazReviews The tips aren't common, but I have seen them on some other torches before. I'd prefer it if they focussed on offering useful functions.
