live in Herzog Ernst Celle www.herzog-erns... the artists: Tony Spinner April 2014 Thank you very much to Reiner Damisch for recording and videoediting / primole
I stood 6 ft away from Van Morrison and Them live in 1964 and they weren’t even close to this rendition. I’ve heard a lot of covers, this rock it the best.
Yeah now that's what a rock band should sound like. I always loved the Van Morrison( THEM) version of the Big Joe William's classic blues song, you guys take it to the next level. As a follow up try the old Roll & Tumble Blues it generates the same sort of dynamic excitement. Well done lads!!
im hoping he does a cover of that great Ten Years After track 'Goin Home' im guessing he could nail that song as the great late Alvin Lee did especially at Woodstock.
You guys rock the sh!t out of baby please don't go. I have been working on that song for a few days now. But i'm trying to add that "Them" sound plus keeping the blues sound as in "Lighten Hopkins" or "Big Joe Willems". It's a hard mix. But I think I can get it figured out. Mater of fact. I just put my Strat & Martin to bed (in their cases). I guess I need a few more days to figure out the way I want it to sound. Or get my brother over here to help me put it to together.
