Wow that was quite a battle. The Woodone driver won't be too cheery about that!! That little nudge at around 4:47 wouldn't have been allowed in Formula 1 though. Probably because the FIA can be real tight-asses.
@Ahya728 they are in different class! the supras are in GT500 those porsch are racing GT300, they use the same track, and race together but i love supras tho!
I remember watching those too. I wish SPEED would show more types of racing around the world, like Super GT, FIA GT, WRC(like they used to), DTM, BTCC, to name some.

@Ahya728 I can understand you if we were speaking BMW M3, but the other German cars just have alot of horsepower under the hood and a pricetag that would make a normal person shit his pants. While Toyota Supra is not cheap but cheap enough to give a normal person the chans to give the BMW owner the finger, it got a great engine that can be tuned a whole lot it is also a very good looking car. The Skyline R33 GTR and R34 GTR are in the same Price level, also a great engine, easy to tune.
The most beautiful cars...well...The Toyota GT-One of LeMans...its a prototipe but a GT anyway...LOL. Pure GT cars...well, JGTC are closer related to DTM cars than FIA GT cars...you know GT1-GT2-GT3... Instead both DTM and JGTC are build like pure prototypes with just far conections with the road car versions...

このレース（当時高２だった自分）現地に見に行ってました。
ゴール後の歓声？が凄かった記憶があります。
放送時のアングルだと分からないけど、確かトムスの方が最終コーナーの進入時にフロントタイヤが逃げてアンダーを出したんだよね。そこを上手く突いた素晴らしいレースだった記憶があります。
ここから９年ルマンが勝てなくなるとは当時思いませんでした。にしても最終ラップ痺れました！
yusuke fujiwara また、菅生で勝つんですもんね。12年の復活勝利は生で見ました。

新日本プロレスファンからすると、実況辻さんじゃん！！と、興奮してしまう！！辻さんプロレスだけじゃなくレースも実況してたんだ…
最終コーナー立上りだけ見るとどう見ても接触でルマンがペナルティとられるはず。ただ注目は抜かれた後のゴールライン付近でルマンの右リアカウルが飛んだ接触。コーナー立上りの後からゴールライン手前までの二台のライン取りの映像がないので実際はなんともわからないけどトムスがぶつけ返してるととられてペナルティ相殺されちゃったったと見るのが妥当かな？
ただのレーシングアクシデントとして処理されたのでは？

It's JGTC, there is NOTHING supra about the car except for the LOOK OF the body panels.
