Love this technique. First time seeing this and am going to give it a try. Just ordered some Gampi paper and some Nori adhesive. Also just learned about the Kento. I have always done everything the hard way. Thanks for making my life so much easier.
@@stephenwinieckioooh, awesome, that’s an inkjet! Mine is also an inkjet and every other transfer technique I’ve learned that works really well only works for laser jet, so I’m so excited to find an equally promising inkjet transfer method at last. And awww, thank you so much! Your channel is pretty great too!
Thank you for your tutorial! Where do you purchase the gampi paper? I haven’t been able to find a supplier in the US. Also, do you use an inkjet or laser printer? Appreciate your help 🙂
I've seen people glue down regular printing paper and slowly peel the paper fibers from the block after the glue has dried. You can also trace your design and transfer the lines with graphite paper. They also sell inkjet transfer sheets from Mcclains in the states.
Your images and prints are so delightful-thank you for sharing your knowledge and process!
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Such a useful video. Thank you. I will be using this technique from now on. 🙂
Glad you found it useful. Hope it works out well for you!
This looks so great! Are you using an inkjet or a laser printer for this?
I have a very inexpensive printer: HP OfficeJet Pro 6978
It's not my favorite printer so I don't recommend it, but it gets the job done.
Great Channel! I just subscribed

Amazing work. What kind of wood you use?
Mostly American cherry, sometimes Shina plywood, and mountain cherry from Japan.
Thank you for your tutorial!
