When you’ve actually finished doing the carpets and upholstery could you show the liquid you’re pouring away to give the viewers an idea of the amount of dirt involved please.
I don't know if it's super accurate because he airblows the carpet first, taking away 60% of the dirt.

Here in America, a car like that, in that condition would go for much more than £500. It translates to about $700. A car like that, even with the history that it was stolen, would probably go for around $1000-$1500. I love your channel. I’ve been watching your content for a while, and it’s been helping me with cleaning the parts of my car, that I would have never thought of cleaning.

Detailing is our job but it blows my mind how can people get a car in that condition and how can they drive a car in that condition.

Awesome job, Gary! I'm sure it's been said a million times before, but I know plenty of folks who show no love to their cars. I have 4, and use my 14 Acura MDX as my daily driver. It's not clean, but it's also certainly not filthy. I'd love to ship it to you for a full detail. Merry Christmas!

My mother used to have a 2005 Polo like this, but 5-door version and metallic wine red colour. She bought it new and kept it in pristine condition but sold it when she retired in 2018. Now my parents will do with just one car, dads 2014 Golf Mk7.

That was a smashing clean! Really wish i could get my car to shine half as much when i give it a clean and polish. But there’s only so much i could manually with a cloth and sponge , especially on my cloudy headlights.
kummiekins Soft cloth and brasso is great on headlights. Needs a bit of elbow grease but does work.

What's the total of all the money that you found in the cars this year?
Apart from the silicone use (I own a bodyshop) the most satisfying part was watching the tea bags get sucked up!
I hate doing cars from dealers cos they usually have them valeted to see if they can get away with not having to paint it. And valters at dealers love to plaster the inside with that much silicone it's nearly glowing. Then you know full well no matter how much thinners and panel wipe you use your getting fish eyes all over 😂
That glass cleaner you use is superb, pound for pound i don't believe you'll find one as good!

A leaf rake and a square shovel comes to mind when thinking how I would start cleaning this dumpster on wheels.
I sometimes wonder - when you go the auctions to buy the cars do you deliberately look for the nastiest, dirtiest, most filthy one there [on the basis that everyone else walks away in disgust so you get it real cheap]? As usual, a great vid - amazing what you achieve with these cars.
That's exactly what I look for. People tend to avoid the really filthy really neglected ones so they're cheaper. And every now and again you get a diamond in the rough. This one's not so great condition wise but will make a good little first car.
I suppose in fairness to the thieves - they did have an Xmas tree freshener! Great clean Gary - compliments of the season.

1 tip! Don’t spray too much on the speakers, If they get wet they may rot and rattle.
