If you told me 10 years ago I would get genuinely excited about someone cleaning a car for 22 minutes I would have thought you're crazy, but I am. Love this channel.
Same. But I developed actual OCD with the birth of my kid and detailing keeps me from ripping my skin off💀
Just living our best lives. 😂😂
Satisfying haha
That's true. Best 22 minutes of RUclips spent in my life
Couldn’t put it better! We would have “thought us to be mad” but I enjoy the before and after. Also serves a good reminder that when you see a clean used car for sale..........🤔
Moments of silence R.I.P. Henry 🤧😥😢...you'll be missed mate ..
You can get repair bits for a Henry. I'd expect that to be the fuse, switch, hi/lo PCB or motor brushes. All available, not expensive.
Those Henry's are amazing bits of kit. Bought one after the Dyson finally died (I couldn't wait for it to pack up...bloody crap). Got a George too... If either of then died I'd replace them like for like in a heartbeat.
Try a Taski ! They are superior and are Europe's most popular ! Orange and grey colour- Blackpool colours , almost ...
Just clean and empty the garbage/dust bag after you use vacum cleanner.... it will live longer
Sad day
English: My Volvo is an estate.
Scottish: My vulva is in a state.
Ma vulva is in a state.
I've seen scottish girls on a night out and I can confirm this is 100% accurate.
That's some funny shit right there
OfWolfAndDenman no way, the real Scottish male would say, “this motor is fu--g minging” good job cleaning it up. I love my native Scottish tongue, never hid it, and it’s ok to have some banter with our accents coz we are men and can take some banter 👍
Boston: my fuckin caaahh is a fuckin’ shithole!!!
this is not a dirty Volvo.. it´s dirt with a little Volvo
😂
Mate, I got no idea how on earth I ended up watching a video of a guy cleaning a car, but the funniest part is how oddly satisfying it is ! Never thought I'd spend 22 minutes watching such a video, and now I'mma click to watch the fixing up and I'mma check your page and eventually subscribe ! And your accent only makes it better (I'm French and speak English with quite a strong American accent). Thanks so much mate, keep up this awesome work of yours...
I didn’t realize he was speaking English until I heard “glovebox”
Glovebox is German for smells like your uncle's nickers
@@peppigue lol 😂😂 😂😂 😂
Even I am Arab
I could understood him easily
I was looking for Klingon translator first...
The more videos you watch, the easier it is to understand him. It's like when I first got a Battlefield Band cd, I could only understand about half the words. Even after the point where I could understand most of the words, there were still things I didn't understand. A wain? Isn't that a wagon or a truck or something like that? No,it's a small child! Lol!
The best part though, is the amazing job he does in restoring these cars. I've vacuumed my car twice since I started watching his videos a couple of weeks ago. I never want my car to look like one of the 'before' cars.
Bringing any car back to life like this is always a good day.
Numatic (Henry) vacuum cleaners are amazingly easy to repair, ours broke in a similar way, wouldn't turn on at all. It just required a new PCB (very easy to replace) and cost like a fiver. Really nice work on this car, 100% satisfaction level!
I had mine repaired 4 years ago, i aguired it in the early 1990s used it at work cleaning boilers out, its now in semi retierment as a dust extractor for my work shop
Geoff Priestley. Henry's don't die they just get a little dusty
It went from this 😭 to 😍, amazing work! Sad to see how people can neglect their cars like this....
My moms car does, she has 3 kids, an auto immune disease, and a vascular disease and since ive shipped out she literally has no time to keep up on the car. I try not to judge cars and unless i know the owner is healthy.
I've been waiting for this to be uploaded! Dunno how or why im addicted to car cleaning vids but I am... Keep up the good work man!
Can you do a vid showing your set up? Like what equipment you use, what cleaning product etc..
Micky Jay me 2 weird, I’ve watched dozens in the lastweek
Me too I'm gonna take mine over soon to have it done :)
Man, join CLUB!
@Autoshine Cars, yeah I want to know what that Tornador is all about
Hi! Your work is excellent! Keep up the Great Work.
I was confused by how much I enjoyed watching this video, but then I realized it was the joy of seeing someone else do the dirty job!
Nearly died in a 205 1.9 mate managed to flipped it nose to tail 4 times ended up upside down on a parked car smashed into the side of a house! Glad to still be watching videos like yours!!! ;)
Jaysus! Glad you are still here to tell about it. Must’ve been some crash!
@@nickegan3988 it's either your time to go or not! Thankfully it wasn't my time! My mate who was driving was thrown out the car car! When he ran back to the car saw me pinned to the roof by the door ( it was upside down) thought I was dead fire brigade cut me out! Still love fast cars drive at bit more sensibly these days!!
You love cleaning cars and I love watching you clean cars. Keep up the great work!
“The gift that keeps on giving” haha.. another great video mate, keep doing what you do.
And I always wanted an Ep3 Type R
Your video brought back fond memories of my detailing days. It was always a good day when I found a Volvo in my bay because I knew that it was going to look better than new once I finished. You're right about quality cars cleaning up nicely; Volvos are such satisfying cars to detail.
Hello from Phoenix, Arizona. When I was in high school, the first Toyota 4x4 trucks started arriving in the US. I believe it was around 1979 or 1980. I wanted one of those trucks SO BAD. I hung out at the small Toyota dealership in our town all the time. But I was a student and even though they were only around $10,000 US, I couldn't come close to owning one. Over the years I've owned several small trucks, including Isuzu and Mazda and 3 Ford Rangers, but never a Toyota 4x4. I really love your videos, thank you for sharing your experience.
The early ones are cool, the one in back to the future looked awesome.
I believe the dot is a lens flare from the sun. Your camera is creating multiple orbs based on the angle it is from the sun.
Yeah, that. Its the sunshine bouncing around inside the camera lens, in between the different glass elements. If they are not coated properly, or they are a little on the cheap side, it can lead to these effects. Either that, or the aliens have decided to visit a small company up north! :P
RIP Henry, let you be the best British Numatic International cleaner to live the earth.
He passed away?
@@ahdnaji the vacuum cleaner
Sir, I could listen to you read a phone book and 6 hours later I would ask for more. Thank you for doing this, I LOVE watching a good cleaning! XO
I'm quite a pig myself when it comes to my car, but the level of filth these cars have is mind boggling...
Seeing the cars vacuumed at 2x speed is unbelievably satisfying, therapeutic in fact.
Abbas Bin Younas I used to work at a full service car wash and it was always appalling to see the filthy cars people were driving around in. I mean, some of the cars I cleaned there had practically became trash cans on wheels. I would see cars about as bad this Volvo about once a week.
These tires are over, the new owner should get them changed asap
I thought you didnt do such a great job until i realized my laptop screen was dirty. Awesome video.. thanks for sharing.
That's absolutely disgusting!!!
Amazing. I am going to get my done. I am going to follow step by step. That by far is the best video I have seen on detailing a car.
The car I've always wanted but never managed to get is that car right there, I love the Volvo v70 I like the space and how roomy they are, less common in the states though unless you want a brand new version of if it
Same here. Always wanted a V70. Would absolutely love an 850 T5R but a V70 would suit me perfectly...
those are so liable cars! i own 964 3.0 and 142 volvo and uncle 850 10 valve! volvos simply are best!
kadison shaver I used to own a 2004 Volvo V70. Great car, I loved it. I should have never sold it.
Dude, your videos are cool but you should start with an empty vacuum and show us the contents at the end. (RIP Henry).
Great job! I’m glad I don’t smell it from the show. I often say: "Show me your car, I’ll tell you who you are!"
I had a S60. A great motor. The seats were the comfiest I have ever sat in. The sound system was ace.
Great job.
Great fulfilling work man.. and very thorough! Looked like the window was smashed once
I'm actually incredibly jealous, this has turned out amazing and WHAT a bargain!!!
I am starting my own business doing this, thx for the inspiration!
Corvette 1974-78.
You are a maestro. You taking that bucket and made it beautiful. Didn't know it was your car congratulations. Enjoy your videos I like seeing how you change the cars. Have a blessed day.
I’ve watched a fair few of your videos and this is the first one I’ve seen where the sun has come out 😎 love your videos they’re so motivating satisfying and relaxing!
Perfectly highlights one of the many reasons I love Volvos, they're just build to last. Everything in them, carpets to headlining, to plastics and vinyl. Got to ask why you didn't treat the exterior plastic trim though!
Absolutely fantastic work. Thanks for the consistency in your work also.
My dad bought a Peugeot 205 GTi two years ago. His dream car, when he was younger. Had it on the lift yesterday to get it ready for the road again after the winter. Looking forward to throw it around again!
You’re so thorough and patient. Great job.
Am i the only one who watches car cleaning videos but still keeps his car dirty .
No the last car i had for 4 yesrs and never washed it.i have a mate that only washes the bonnet he says when your sat in the car its the only bit you see
I'd really like to own a Saab 9-3 Viggen.
Love this Volvo job! Would buy it in a heartbeat if I saw it like this!
I'm gonna be honest... stumbled onto this video while RUclips surfing as you do..... Amazing! I'm pretty OCD about keeping my car clean, but this has actually inspired me to go that extra mile.
Nice job done.
Im 39 weeks pregnant and needed motivation to clean my V70 seats... then I found this and I want to clean my whole car out! I texted my brother and niece about your video lol. So satisifying!
Glad to help and good luck 🙂
Always love your work, greetings from Maluku, Indonesia
That was so satisfying to watch. Great video and quality work 👍🏻
This is a fun channel. I spend 80% of the time enjoying the detailing process and about 20% of the time re-winding parts of it over and over trying to figure out what he just said. :)
My dad drove several V70s, loved to see this. Very good job. Thanks for sharing.
I’m speechless! I would love to have this car - it has a lot of life left in it! Keep posting!!!!!
OMG those tires are bald as my head. In my country his car would be evacuated by police. Great work BTW :)
Evacuated?...
These Volvos are wonderful cars when kept in good shape. I had a 2001 S60 2.4T it was like driving a magic carpet.
Lovely job!! I have a Volvo V70 Tdi from 1998 now... just bought it.... only 200K miles on it... bought the car from the first owner... looks like new!!
car must smell good as it looks rip Henry
*_Love the accent! And also loving the video! So satisfying! ❤_*
I used to work as a car groomer at Newmarket Car Valet in New Zealand. We had a contract with the local prestige dealerships like Ferrari, Benz, Audi etc. I was trained by a fellow called Mick Hearn and I thought we did a good job, until I saw your videos and you take it to the next level with your detailed work.. 😉😀
Now, THAT was very satisfying.....thanks for your vids. That Volvo looks gorgeous now, a loooong way from what it was. Excellent!
A mark 2 Jaguar is one that I’ve always wanted after a mate of mine at college had a good win on the horses and bought an old one with his winnings. Took me for a spin in it and I’ve wanted one ever since. That was 40 years ago.
“DESGUSTAENG” - like the infamous video
a real professional! It looks so easy on the video, but I think one sleeps very well after all the cleaning work...
Just saw this show am very impressed. Reminds me of myself love a clean auto. Had a V-70 wagon loved it now own a Jeep. Both excellent vehicles.
My dreamcar is the car you are cleaning in this video, love the big chunky Volvo's
If it was the AWD version, I'd race you there to buy it (assuming he's selling of course). 🙂 These really are fabulous cars. I do airport transfers part tine and the whole fleet (except for the MPVs) are Volvo. V70, S80 and V90. They have the Stigma of being an old man's car...having driven them for years now; they're certainly no old man's car. I love these things.
johnmcquay82 well you would not have race me, i am from the Netherlands and steeringwheel is a bit on the wrong side for me 😋
smashing mate! no silicone spray, made my day lol
Love your inthousium and attention to detail .I have a 2004 v70 runs on LPG best car ever .over the years had a lot of hot hatches including the 1.9 g t i Peugeot but I think the volvo is my favourite .keep up the good work👍
Great job! Volvos clean up so well because the material is so tough. The front tyre is a bit scary . . . absolutely no tread left
I think the layer of grime was actually a defensive/protective layer lol.
Old school sealants lol
volvo doesnt need any extra layers 😎
I like to think my oil leak stop my engine bay from rusting
@@alanpartridge2140 actually it does that. small oil leaks mean good.
8:38... dead rat in the middle 🐀... 😂😂👌
THIS WAS PERFECT! I will get my dad's old v70 that's to be honest almost dirtier than the one u just cleaned. But this video really helped me out in how I should do to really clean it out like I've always wanted to.
@Autoshine cars wow what a transformation so satisfying when you clean a car this dirty I also like you repairing them as well would love to more of 👍
You should get a skoda from copart as a daily, truly bulletproof had one and it had 190k ragged it around for 7 years never asked me for nothing mk1 Octavia look for one in copart absolutely brilliant cars
General Shark just put mine through it’s annual taxi inspection and MOT. Not a single advisory at 120k miles and still on original clutch. Never had to make a single repair to it and still looks great in and out after a thorough valet. Brilliant cars.
@@JohnnyPaton On a related note, my Mk5 golf has the original clutch at 162k miles. So I reckon you're good for a long time yet.
kebabtank I hope so. One of our other drivers has just traded a Skoda Superb on 210k with the original clutch. My only worry is a clutch noise at biting point which I think is the thrust bearings. At nearly £1k for a clutch and DMF I Hope I’ve got another few thousand miles yet.
Roger Mellie love skodas proper built to last cars
NASTY! How could they stand to be in there with all that cack. All I can think of now is what the bloody hell did this persons house look like!?
Just because your car is dirty doesn't mean that you're a dirty person. Doesn't mean your house is dirty. I can guarantee you that if you went into your car right now it wouldn't look much better than this person's car did.
@@xXKatieFace I guarantee You, that My car, right now, is very much cleaner than the state that car started out in. I didn't state a dirty car = an unwashed person, I posed the question how the previous owner could stand to be IN that mess. The fact the car was allowed to become that filthy allows one to draw ones own conclusion of personal habits, which is what you clearly did, and why I didn't feel the need to draw or state any such conclusions. I did equate allowing ones vehicular surroundings to be in that state to allowing ones house to be in that state, and I did so for the reason that, one DOES have a trend of following the other; Both from a clinical psychological standpoint, and additionally from within my experience of people. He did an amazing job cleaning up that mess, nobody likes a filthy Volvo.. especially when on display in public.
Nice job. Can't believe people actually drive cars this dirty. You do a great job cleaning. 👍👍👍👍👍👍 Sorry to hear about Henry. 😣
Great video! Ik drive a V70 D5 from 2006, one of the later models. It is still in a pretty good shape and clean for now. But i will clean him this year like you did. Wow what a difference! Greatings from Holland.
I've wanted a Dodge charger srt8, the one Keanu Reeves drove in street Kings.
Rip Henry the vacuum 20xx-2019. He will be missed.
What do you use on the windows?
RIP HENRY lol good content thank you
Out of all the channels I watch..the cars you clean are extremely filthy. Good job buddy, keep em coming!
Amazing job! You're right about buying old top-end cars, their quality stands out a mile, even with all that misuse they receive. Cheers from France, Andy.
I thought he had a few spots on the console and it pissed me off, then i realised it was a dirty spec on my laptop monitor. Had to sterilise the whole laptop since im OCD
I wonder how much money you have found when cleaning cars out ?
Probably enough to buy, tax and insure another car
Such a good work!!! Makes me want to buy this car straight away!!
I honestly didn't think it was possible, but this car looks like a brand new car!
made me want to go wash my car.... then just watched some more of your videos instead 🤣👍
can i just ship the truck i am about to sell across the pond to you to clean :P
Congratulations to this beautiful car. You did a very good job !! Greetings from northern Germany.
Only watched a video today looking for spray extraction machine!, great work and I hope the owners are appreciative
Renault 5 GT turbo. That's what I wanted. :)
Ooh! they are worth money now mate!
£550 for a 100k Volvo? What more do you need?
Copart, write offs, very high risk! This one clearly turned out well, though!
Bargain!
Brilliant video, keep up the good work mate. fantastic to see the transformation !!
You did an outstanding job on cleaning that! That thing looks showroom again!
I've wanted a Volvo V40 T4. Unfortunately, they're quite hard to get by as they're old cars and people often trash them. Once they got cheaper, they get in the hands of people who want a fast wagon, but then absolutely neglected them and here we are..
I found a nice model online and went to take a look. It looked nice, ran well and the interior wasn't completely trashed. The headliner had sagging but that always happens with S40's and V40's. I was willing to forgive that.
Unfortunately when we started driving we immediately noticed something was off. There was excessive wind noise, the car pulled under acceleration and braking and generally didn't feel stable on the road. The second thing that struck us, is when we closed the rear doors they didn't close with a satisfying slam, but rather with a dull dud. They didn't feel right when you opened them too, almost as if they didn't fit properly. You probably already guessed it by now... We opened up the boot and it didn't align with the body of the car, the lid was all bent and there was obvious damage.
The car had been in a collision, and the repair work was shoddy. Such a shame, it was a nice car to look at but it drove like a wet mop. The ad was up for months. I'm not sure if eventually some poor soul bought the thing or he gave up on selling it.
I now drive a Mazda 6, but some day I still want one of those Volvo's. I'm hunting after S60's and V70's now. Noone wants them, so they're easy to come by in good condition. V/S40's are a lost cause.
How much do you usually charge for one of theese cleanings? :)
I always wanted Ford F-250 King Ranch pickup.
Worked as a detailer for 2.5 years, let me tell you it's a LOT more fun watching videos of it than doing it yourself lol, cars like these are a nightmare even though Volvo carpeting tend to be pretty easy to clean
BMW 635 CSI...first car i fell in love with, first saw one in Lossiemouth when i was a bairn
We call it "Drecksau" in Germany...
😂😂😂
I would guess the driver was female? It looks like the condition my wife's car is in... I run to the doctor's office for a tetanus shot every time I ride in her car.
It's really sad to see how some people treat these beautiful, nice cars... I have a 94 Jeep Cherokee that has definitely seen better days but I still clean it (even though it doesn't look "like new"). Beautiful job!
Doesnt matter how old a car is. Take care of what takes care of YOU :)
I really wanted a Subaru BRZ, ended up getting an e39 m5
I'd bet money that car belonged to a lady driver.
Men tend to have more pride in their vehicles.
Twig it’s not that men have more pride in “their vehicles”, it’s because that woman has a busier life than you could ever imagine, between running a household, raising kids, cooking for men’s dumbasses, doing all the laundry and putting kids to bed, not to mention running all over kingdom come to ensure all of her family’s needs are met, all while quite possibly holding down a job herself. Cleaning out a car, or spending money you obviously don’t have, if you’re driving a 15 year old station wagon isn’t practical. Women make the world operate, show some respect, and don’t be a misogynist.
My cars are always mechanically solid but are normally dirty inside and out. I clean at work and I clean at home. I'm too cleaned out to clean my car. It occasionally goes to the local hand car wash and then I realise just how manky it was!
@@billymasoner3735 Do you know what the word "misogynist" means?
If not look it up and don't be a misandrist.
Twig yes, it means someone who dislikes, despises, or is strongly prejudiced against women. And your assertion that the filthy car had to have belonged to a woman was a pretty stereotypical and prejudicial thing to say, and derogatory toward women, so my accusation stands.
If you actually read what I said, it was a factual statement and bore no disrespect whatsoever to women as you seem eager to imply. It is an observable fact is that men tend to take more pride in their cars than women, and women tend to take more pride in their personal appearance than men, and if you had any experience of waiting for a female partner to go out anywhere or if you had noticed that any social activity revolving around cars is almost entirely male based you would know that.
My observations are not in any way derogatory apart from in your own seemingly confused mind.
Top work man,it looks so much nicer now,i do like a clean car myself for sure but for its year it looks brand new..
Och aye, Grande job, great scottish accent pal, I used to lived in Scotland, great people, great country, regards from middle east Europe
Great work sir! Your accent is fantastic too! Cheers from Tampa, Florida USA.
Really love your videos mate. Very well executed I always look forward to your new installments. Only up the road in Preston
A great video ..... These are a proper motor, with the D5 engine.
LOOKING FORWARD.... To the next video.
Cheers from. Texas! Driving my dream car.....2016 Volvo V60. Love it!
I wanted to buy a 1966 Cadillac DeVille convertible when I was a teenager. A guy in the town next to mine was selling a beautiful one with a brown leather interior and a cream white custom paint job that was color matched to the new vinyl on the convertible top. He was selling it for $4800 in 1996. The car was immaculate and he sold it to someone else while I was getting an insurance quote. I've always regretted not just buying the car and getting the insurance done after. I'd probably still have it today.
