No clean fights. Even no 1 when Merc is going outside the track. Never the less they are decades ago. Now it looks like engine run. You have good car or you are on the back. I'm not convinced.
Contact is fine as long as it's jockeying for position...when it isn't okay is when you ram an opponent from behind going into a turn and purposefully force them wide or even to crash.
Nobody got a penalty for those overtake situations, but Ekström got disqualificated after his win at Norisring in 2013. Just because his dad wanted to cool him down with a bottle of water. NICE DTM...

For those who think only n°2 was a clean true overtake, it is clean only because neither Paffet nor Ekstrom fight for the win. The overtake happened on the first turn of the circuit, a pretty tight one. The best line there is outside/inside/outside. If Ekstrom took the outside too early, Paffet would have took the inside forcing him out. The only "logical" move was to stay on the inside, brake late, force anyone on the outside out. He did all, except for forcing Albers out. Ekstrom is one hell of a driver and very capable. Fighting both Paffet and Albers is too much for anybody.
is it just me, or are these honestly not very impressive overtakes? I don't know whether it's the tracks or how planted the cars are but I find most over taking the in the V8 supercars a little more intense...

@@reynaldiwidjaja277 DRS isn't unfair. It's a solution to the dirty air problem, not a 'new innovation'.
