Rally Group B 87'...(by'standers would be like tree's) and all cars had well over 800 hp with hidden rocket fuel bi-cells..drivers smoking cigaretes just because they can..just look at this era of now...no smokes,, all cars run on batteries and no people at all because thats not healthy any more..

Despite today's regulations, all sports cars and hot hatchbacks are much more performant. The Mercedes A45s AMG (A-Class) has a 0-60 time of 3.9 seconds. At the beginning of the 90s, no supercar even managed this. The actual 911 Turbo Accelerates to 60 mph in under 2.8 seconds. That didn't even make a Formula 1 car in the 90s. Modern three cylinder engines with 1.6 liters reach nearly 300 hp. In the 90s, this required twice as much displacement and cylinders. Yes, these races and the DTM in these times were absolutely great and impressive. But I can't say that the actual cars are less exciting.

All the Merc drivers were too determined to win. But I'm amazed at how those older E30's can go against newer cars so BMW must be way ahead at the time.
The e30 BMW M3 and the W201 Mercedes 190E Evo II are a beast of its time and so superior to the rivals. Nissan, Ford and the other manufacturer are quite not relevant.
@@ooohhenrybmblm Macau is not in Europe. And Ford is based in Cologne Germany and builds and designs all the vehicles for the European market there, but in motorsport they could never win anything when other German and European brands were there.

It's almost like the tortoise and Hare race here you see all these Mercedes and BMWs rip roaring around the track crashing and such and then you see the GTR just kind of cruising behind them, biding his time waiting for that opportunity to pounce. Haven't seen the end of the race yet so I don't know what happens tho..
Bmw got the 1,2,3,5,6 position in the end. Mercedes was in 4th. 7th was Ford Sierra rs, 8,9,10 was Toyota corolla ae92. And that Nissan? Couldn't even finish the race sadly.
