Just shown why I left the fitness industry as a personal trainer, the toxicity between them and slating each other shows you everything you need. Plus not a single person did a squat for glutes. Every PT should know that compound exercises should be the priority when it comes to the lower body. They had 3, Squats then some isolation exercises after. Felt sorry for Wayne, he's probably a good PT but doesn't do that exercise with his clients or not recently, or he's a new PT.

Bro the quality of your videos is improving so rapidly. Thanks to your motivation now my dream is to become a fitness influencer so this is my goal for this year
I would choose wayne as a personal trainer. Calm, very friendly, bro energy but not the loud overzealous type, decent form on most exercises, not perfect, but no one is perfect, and i actually really like his application of the smith machine. logically it makes sense when you base the motion off of even a beginners understanding of kinesiology. with the smith machine keeping the bar in an even line and from being able to slip (especially for males) the risk of a hernia is decreased by a fair amount, it holds the weight stable which allows you to load on more weight without worrying about it moving or any awkward movements from your body that you are unprepared for. (added bonus it keeps the bar from slipping and crushing them jimmies) It also puts all the focus on the glut muscles. instead of focusing on balance, stabilization, and core, as well as glutes, the exercise with the smith machine makes it solely focused on glutes. Combined with a straight back in that form and you have pretty much isolated the muscle as best as you can for that specific exercise. Your trainer should push you, should have decent knowledge, but should also make you feel excited about going to the gym. A trainer should make the gym a fun, theraputic, and positive experience that gives someone a thirst for more. It needs replay value in terms of the internet i guess. Wayne in my opinion is the most balanced and exemplary of these qualities, and with time and more experience im pretty sure he's gonna become one hell of a personal trainer. He has the humility to admit where his short comings are, and that is irrefutable evidence of his ability to grow.
Hey I just reread this comment, I thought it was pretty cool how you pinpointed what I kinda aim for: I was born with 2 hernias and made them worse lifting, I dislocated my shoulder and tore some connective tissue near my collarbone in a biking accident. This makes me super injury-preventative BUT that does not mean exclusively avoiding movements you are a little scared of, it’s about teaching your body to be strong where it is not. A lot of people nowadays think personal training is only about body image but I like to build a strong, functional, and hopefully aesthetic physique, with my primary goal being building confidence and also flexibility and strength in areas that are applicable to their life ❤ Just my insight at 2 AM lol, hope you have a great session next time you’re in the gym
I loved this video so much ! It was very fun to watch also a little bit intense, but I also learned some things along the way, Please keep doing these trainer like videos
*Often times I see a personal trainer who’s only been inside of a gym for 1-2 years and then a successful (amateur) bodybuilder who’s been training for much longer.* *Then the PT tells the amateur what (s)he is doing wrong.* 🙄
@@jameswong7086 not exactly right as you probably won't take advice from a gym rat that's been going for years with no results to show so your comparison isn't exactly comparable to say. I would rather have the powerlifter who is in competition form and training for years give me advice than the PT who took a course where you learn often times inefficient exercises with no added experience.
@@kurtoskalacs9116 your analogy doesn’t work since no gym rat would not have results if they’re consistent Also professional powerlifters aren’t natty and unless you yourself aren’t you are not going to see similar results to the powerlifter as their physique isn’t naturally attainable
This is actually pretty greattttttt brother, you are constantly improving and innovating, this shows how much work you really put in and the humor you add with sarcasms and joke does wonder ,keep up bro
Pizza is quite high in protein though, the crust is more than you'd think and depending on the amount of cheese is on, cheese is also a lot of protein. I had to try to double check to look for nutrient facts for dominos pepperoni pizza online and found on myfitnesspal per slice that it's 22g carbs, 9g fats and 8g protein on a 12" pizza. 20g isn't too far off EDIT: I noticed there are like 10 myfitnesspal estimations and all the estimations seem to have been taken out of their asses. I'm trying to dig into the facts from a more reliable source but I can't seem to find a reliable source. I do know when making homemade pizza or pizza from a non-franchise place with at least somewhat decent ingredients, pizza has more protein than you'd expect.
This is the "thing" with fitness, everyone has a different opinion on how things 'should' be done. Just because you don't perform an exercise to someone's exact liking doesn't mean it's wrong. People have different body mechanics, different ways to moves. It's all about taking everyone's opinions and formulating your own into what works for you.
The blue shirt girl was so clearly a PT (not one of the few good ones), spouting nonsense like it's fact. And her glute workout was full of junk volume. Wayne knew his shit fr, seems like he actually wants to make his clients strong, not just sore and out of breath.
respect, but NGL maddie does know her shit, remeber everybody's body will react to different stimulus differently! junk volume is likely not an issue for somone at an advanced level, and as long as you have the capacity to recover from the work youre doing you will make great progress :) that being said, lifting increasingly heavy weight with proper form is defineatly my go-to style for muscle building
The main takeaway is that personal trainer certifications don’t make you any better than the average gym bro.

Interesting, I honestly thought it was the woman because of how showy she was being with her knowledge. Idk I hang with dogs, so I know that if they're barking its because they're nervous. Obviously not people, but just my thought process and reasoning lol
@@eroc22able she seemed like the dumb one out of the bunch honestly.
@@eroc22able Her information was on point though. I found her a little annoying but she knew her stuff and definitely was the fittest of them all. She was the typical annoying know it all we all had in our high school classes.
@@matthewminogue3276 she did NOT know her stuff though. She shat herself when asked about long vs short head on the biceps exercise, stalled a little and gave a random-ass answer.
Marc caught lacking at 0:55 😂
Can't blame him... 😅
My boy Wade came just to get roasted and now all his clients leaving 😂
thats not even the right name big dawg, AND my clients are still here and stronger than ever 💪
Will your videos are getting me through this deployment
Will would make such a good host in literally any show. The charisma is crazy
Jubilee is probably shaking their fists at not coming up with this one first
They just eliminated anyone that doesn't have a blue shirt
That was fun. If I was going to hire a personal trainer I’d hire that guy in the black hat and sleeved blue shirt, he did the best of explaining the movement he was doing imo.
19:45 I literally (like, actually literally) drooled on the couch... while my girlfriend was sitting right next to me 😂
I feel bad for your girl
Dating a dog 😂
“Leave a like if you appreciated the camerawork this evening” 😂😂😂
Lmao the little messages in the bottom left 1:38 “gymshark merch doesn’t make you a personal trainer” lol
Bro the quality of your videos is improving so rapidly. Thanks to your motivation now my dream is to become a fitness influencer so this is my goal for this year
I was hoping they would all be trying to convince Will they were personal trainers until he found the fake, but this was a really fun video.
Jubilee rn: 👁️👄👁️ HE STOLE MY WHOLE FLOW! 🤣🤣🤣
(added bonus it keeps the bar from slipping and crushing them jimmies)
It also puts all the focus on the glut muscles. instead of focusing on balance, stabilization, and core, as well as glutes, the exercise with the smith machine makes it solely focused on glutes.
He has the humility to admit where his short comings are, and that is irrefutable evidence of his ability to grow.
great to hear it! appreciate you :)
completely agree, the fact that he voted for himself too shows humility, what a king
A lot of people nowadays think personal training is only about body image but I like to build a strong, functional, and hopefully aesthetic physique, with my primary goal being building confidence and also flexibility and strength in areas that are applicable to their life ❤
Just my insight at 2 AM lol, hope you have a great session next time you’re in the gym
@@WayneKienapple thanks man, i can really appreciate the care you put into your work.
Best of wishes on your career and fitness journey!
Lol Wayne after everyone said he isn’t a PT : 👁️👄👁️
I loved this video so much ! It was very fun to watch also a little bit intense, but I also learned some things along the way, Please keep doing these trainer like videos
This is the most genius video you have ever done, Will! I’m literally at the edge of my seat! Bravo 🙌🏼👏🏼 Give us more!
*Often times I see a personal trainer who’s only been inside of a gym for 1-2 years and then a successful (amateur) bodybuilder who’s been training for much longer.* *Then the PT tells the amateur what (s)he is doing wrong.* 🙄
To be fair, if you've heard the term bro science you know that what's being said in the gym isn't necessarily correct
My mum has been driving two decades longer than me but I wouldn't trust her to take me anywhere.😆
@@kurtoskalacs9116 your analogy doesn’t work since no gym rat would not have results if they’re consistent
Also professional powerlifters aren’t natty and unless you yourself aren’t you are not going to see similar results to the powerlifter as their physique isn’t naturally attainable
9:36 4th US President 😂 I love the editing
the way Madison dug through that salad 💀
Should do a part 2 6 powerlifters vs 1 fake would be dope
bro, wayne has such a gym bro vibe, i also thought it was him lol
Gym Bro + Bodybuilding + Personal Trainer 😎
@@WayneKienapple perfect combo
This is actually pretty greattttttt brother, you are constantly improving and innovating, this shows how much work you really put in and the humor you add with sarcasms and joke does wonder ,keep up bro
its Wayne's world and we're just living in it
it feels good to be king >:)
So nobody is gonna comment on Wayne being called a "very educated bodybuilder" to is face when he is an actual personal trainer?
Ong They were all so quick to critique they forgot the filter lmao
how is she a qualified personal trainer and thought their was 20 grams of protein in 2 slices of dominos veggie pizza😂😂😂
I think I counted 5 pepperonis 😅
Pizza is quite high in protein though, the crust is more than you'd think and depending on the amount of cheese is on, cheese is also a lot of protein.
I had to try to double check to look for nutrient facts for dominos pepperoni pizza online and found on myfitnesspal per slice that it's 22g carbs, 9g fats and 8g protein on a 12" pizza.
20g isn't too far off
EDIT: I noticed there are like 10 myfitnesspal estimations and all the estimations seem to have been taken out of their asses. I'm trying to dig into the facts from a more reliable source but I can't seem to find a reliable source. I do know when making homemade pizza or pizza from a non-franchise place with at least somewhat decent ingredients, pizza has more protein than you'd expect.
@@miderwr9363 I swear it's a veg pizza tho and the pepperoni would add a decent chunk onto the protein
11 grams of protein in 100g of normal pizza.... 14 grams in 1 slice (136g) of a vegetable pizza...
@@yeyecmon you would of got voted out lmao
Maddie literally just in there pretending like we’re all impressed by her 😂 😂
This is the "thing" with fitness, everyone has a different opinion on how things 'should' be done. Just because you don't perform an exercise to someone's exact liking doesn't mean it's wrong. People have different body mechanics, different ways to moves. It's all about taking everyone's opinions and formulating your own into what works for you.
So true! Also not everyone has and should have the same approach to nutrition, some people prefer a more flexible and sustainable way of eating
Gotta be the most creative video idea in RUclips fitness these past 10 years
The blue shirt girl was so clearly a PT (not one of the few good ones), spouting nonsense like it's fact. And her glute workout was full of junk volume. Wayne knew his shit fr, seems like he actually wants to make his clients strong, not just sore and out of breath.
respect, but NGL maddie does know her shit, remeber everybody's body will react to different stimulus differently! junk volume is likely not an issue for somone at an advanced level, and as long as you have the capacity to recover from the work youre doing you will make great progress :)
that being said, lifting increasingly heavy weight with proper form is defineatly my go-to style for muscle building
The editing on this video is phenomenal. I noticed all the details and they’re great!
