We’ve just had our first year in our compact 2024, great little van and prefer the colours to the new one. First year back after the family have flown the nest. We have our tv down the front which frees up the work area over the fridge for food prep. It is a little tight when getting ready for bed but it’s in the title ‘compact’ 😁 we have a full awning and annexe, don’t always have the sleeping pod up so lots of room for our bits.
Its a great wardrobe for such a small tourer Fiona - I do like this van ideal for a single person - great spec also available in upgraded exclusive spec too.
Hi Andy, great review of the Sprite Compact. Yes it's a niche van but that niche is getting bigger now in the days of the absence of diesel tow cars to tow heavier vans. This van is great for 2 people wanting to do a bit of touring without the hassle of towing a big van . It could be parked on a small drive and still have room for a car. I do like the modern decor and the two different curtain styles doesn't take away from it at all. Yes the comprise is the washroom and I'm not a fan of a shower tray incorporated with the toilet, but for weekends away one could use the site facilities. There's a great wardrobe for storage, good locker storage that looks to be built very well. There's a market for these van layouts if the price is right.
And for a bit more space an awning which doubles the space - yes a great little tourer that offers a big punch and great to store and tow Kevin. Glad you liked the review
Hi Andy , Great Review of The Sprite Compact , looks a Good one , full oven and a decent size fridge is a Bonus to me , i remember the cadet with door on the Back ,always wanted one , never had one , our first van was a sprite 400 1964 , these compact vans are ideal for quick get aways , curtains look Great to me , Thanks for sharing , compacts are the future , well for me ,👍
Gosh the Cadet - saw a mk2 up near consett a few months ago - remeber them new sadly! Yes compact tourers I think will be the way to go - plenty around years ago to - 64 400 wow grandparents had a new 62 Musketeer. Thanks for watching and the comments to.
Currently away with my Compact in the Highlands. Excellent for towing along some of the narrower roads up here. I agree with your comment of having a slightly longer van. I would keep it a two berth and incorporate a separate shower and longer prep area above the fridge. Thanks for the video Andy.
Hope your having a good tour away - the Compact sounds like its doing what it says on the tin - slightly longer but not much a cracker all the same - have a good trip and thansk for taking time to comment on your Compact
Nice little no nonsense van Andy, I see a lot of the fittings and furniture from our 2013 sprite, but that’s ok, as we always thought it stylish. I have to say though, we were never a fan of that all in one shower/toilet set up, and that plastic vanity unit was ok, but we always wished it was a bit better. But, with being a combined toilet/shower, we understood the reason for it. I love the exterior graphics though - very smart :)
A great little van but agree about the huge sink. Everything else is made down to scale except that. Make it square and smaller and give chef some chopping and serving room away from the TV.
We've got a 2022 Compact and replaced the downlighters with adjustable spot lights, which also have a USB charger. Much better for reading. We wish the toilet was a full width one like the Basecamp. Although the wardrobe looks spacious the arial and table reduce the useable space. Apart from these little niggles a great touring van. We previously had a Cotswold Windrush. Similar layout and size, but a much better overall design and of course beautifully built!
Wow a Cotswold lovey vans remeber them begining !!! Yes the Compact ticks all the boxes most of time and interesting asbout the spotlights to - thanks for cooments
Yes I have had trouble with sound - I am currently looking at some mics that give better quality - I shoot with a DSLR because I do a lot of stills which I like the quality so stick with one camera though a Go Pro could be usefull. Thank you for the other comments and for watching

I do like it, a chopping board cover for that big sink would be good. Super wardrobe!

I bet there are a few current sprite owners wishing there was an option for no panoramic roof.
I think s small sunroof would be great but would add cost

Great review as ever. 😎
Constructive feedback - maybe swap your mic out. The audio is poor on these.
