That’s a shame. Unfortunately your experience is not everyone else’s. This installed unit is still working perfectly from date of installation. Sorry you had a bad experience, maybe it’s not the unit but other contributing factors. Look outside the unit for cause. Or maybe it was just a faulty part. Contact Hayward tech support if it’s still with in warranty period. They will help

Is the new s3 turbo cell compatible with the older aquarite box you removed?
Oh sorry you mentioned that I have to install the new S3 salt cell have no clue what I will need to program on the older board
Yes all new S3 salt cell models are compatible with All Hayward Salt Systems including the AquaRite, ProLogic, Aqualogic, OmniLogic systems.
