Gage, noticing that the tunnel on the wall was, in fact, painted on, swerves hard to the left at the last moment.
He only does so because Cimo notified him at the last moment. 100% he would have used HRDA instead of Cimo didn't give it away.

I completely forgot that D/D/D card existed until Gage played it, and it was in the anime, that I watched.
I remember how convoluted was the play with this card in the anime 😂
It was a side deck consideration for a while, and I've played it in a few master duel events, but that's about the extent of my personal history with it. It's lowkey broken in certain matchups, but dead the rest of the time... when it shines, though? It always feels like that game three!

Whenever a card is flipped up in crunch time with a reaction of "WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS", you know it's gonna be good
The only reason people didn't play the trap immune contract was because of beowulf I doubt gage has either 1 Beowulf if he got lucky pulls yes but in earlier iterations without beowulf they played errors in the side if Cimo keeps his aleister package & Gage doesn't ban it think about high speed riders! :)

I know you can probably search the D/D Trap stun, but still just having a generic whenever would work.

Meanwhile Errors can be turned on and off at will due to being a continuous trap and would allow a consistent usage from it.
So there is argument for both but errors is better inside DD specifically
After being clueless for far too long, Gage finally activated his protagonist powers this time.
6:23 A random one off character used Fisherman and its upgraded form in the anime. This entire pack has cards from the Battle Royal arc from Arc-V.
This character marked me. Arc-V was still good at the time. I remember this dude was an as*h*le when we was introduced, but then in the span of a few episodes he becomes an ally. And then his friend the Cookpal dude dies (gets turned into a card) and the fisherman dude has a super sad and touching moment just before getting carded too. Really nicely written, for a character that was really a nobody. Arc-V had such potential, the early seasons were really exploiting every bit of 90% of characters they made, even those you would expect to be one-offs in a Yu-gi-oh anime.

@@epicman2000 Nah, this wasn't a purposeful throw. Cimo actually had a good counter to Gage's board in Game 3 if not for Dark Contract with Errors.
Ah, the classic “WHO RUNS THAT SHIT???!!!!!”
I can't remember if you had him or not, but Caesar Ragnarok is a seldom-used boss monster in D/D/D whose effect equips an opponents monster to himself by bouncing a card you control. It's a little clunky, but while it targets the card you bounce, it doesn't target the card he equips from the opponent. Back in this 2017 era, I always had one of him just in case my opponent had an untargetable or undestroyable monster like Chaos MAX.
Cimo should have stayed silent. He was too confident and got punished for it by causing Gage to notice the tunnel.

Week 49. Damn the way Gage managed to be big brain. I can see why people root for him. Good performance from him.
A small thing that i believe works this way is that if you have D'Arc on field and you used Where Arf Thou, the damage you would take in the end phase is actually gained instead since that 2k damage is effect damage.
(Proven by the fact that if you have Chicken Game up and have Lower LPs, you don't take the damage from Where Arf Thou.)
Can always expect Cimooo to show up with a strange deck when he is 1 win away from a ban/unban from gage

It's not like we didn't know this was coming, but playing Yosenju is so blatant.
Alex had the right idea but his deck was all wrong.
To be fair, I don't think Cimo is all that concerned even if Gage gets the (un)banning. Their card pools are relatively the same at this point. No decks overly toxic so far.
@@NeoBlackPrime Idk. There's a definite pattern of Cimo bringing jank decks whenever Gage is about to get a ban. At this point, both players have unique cards/decks that are worth banning. He didn't want to lose his Chaos Max or Invoked strategies.

Just have Cimo read over a contract and not understanding it.
I feel gage in game 3 shoould have either flipped errors then in end phase so cimoo could note even flip or respond perior or just popperd one, contract add next turn pp the other, but he did still win!. Convinced in game 2 he probably could have played a lot better but DDDs are hard I dont blame him and i just love seeing them played, maybe cause I'm a fan of the deck, so glad they got the win. Also I don't know if gage owns it but one DD cerberus is proabbly good in the side since its a searchable out to floodgates, can make Siegfried as well though its restriction is kind of meh.
The Legendary Fisherman is in this set because it's yet another card that was featured in Arc-V, the anime airing at the time, all the cards in this set are basically from the early thirdish of Arc-V.
Some jobber of the week used it to summon The Legendary Fisherman III, which is also in the set.

D/D's are one of my favorites, but it always bugs me when Gage uses Necro with Swirl instead of any other D/D, because Swirl has a useful 2nd effect to bring out ANY D/D from the hand when its in the grave.

Tbf that Strike could have been a Judgment and then Gage's trap decision would have lost him the game. But Cimo telegraphed it too much.
Alex should be running a small Kaiju engine because Yosenju and Kaiju go super well together.
I love Yosenjus a lot. You can do a lot of really dumb stun stuff with them. I'm sad they never really did anything in the TCG. But in limited/sealed? Oh yeah they have a lot more potential

I might be wrong, but IMO in G3 the activation of the Dark Contract with the Errors was illegal, cause it says "if you control a D/D monster". Gage had only 2 D'arcs and she is a D/D/D monster. Am I wrong?
If it's present anywhere in the name, it is part of that archetype.
D/D/D monsters are D/D monsters.
Yosenju Kaiju should of been played, instead of just Yosenju with kaiju in side. Plus if cimo ran yosenju kaiju, he had access to dark hole and slumber, and plenty of power house monsters as backup
