You can get the full spec sheet and list of features for the RedMagic 8 Pro gaming phone using this link: redmagic.gg/pages/redmagic-gaming-evolution **Notes and Corrections** - Lisa isn't actually in this video, but she's sussy and knows things about the Hexenzirkel so I used her for the thumb. - One thing I neglected to mention is that Skirk can also be a reference to Scathach. I forgot about this, but YT Member Luna reminded me that Childe has a lot of references to Cu Chulainn - a student of Scathach. Scathatch taught warriors the art of fighting with a barbed harpoon which Childe's melee weapons resemble (in staff form). But those same weapons he uses are found ALL OVER ENKANOMIYA meaning Skirk could easily be a mix of Scathach (for harpoon + Cu Chulainn) and Circe (for transformative magic - although Cu Chulainn did also have a transformative state). (It would also explain his whale constellation) . Can't include images so here's a link to some images from Childe Mains for reference: www.reddit.com/r/childemains/comments/ryytvl/childes_weapon_and_tape_are_similar_to_the_ones/ I think this can be similar to how Alice can be both Alice in Wonderland and potentially Eris, goddess of discord. Either way it works :P
Scathach also living in Dún Scáith might have something to do with her since 'Dún Scáith' means 'Fortress of Shadows'... you know, kinda of like a Abyss? Where Childe met Skirk?
Oh gosh. You're _absolutely_ right. Klee is definitely Little Red Riding Hood. _That's why she's friends with Razor._ He's the wolf. That's probably also why he specifically identified her by the color red when you first meet him.
The snow queen as the story focuses on two children one being corrupted and the other traveling the world in search of their corrupted friend. This story definitely fits the relationship between the two siblings
Also might work rather well with us being headed for shneznaya aka the snow country? To some extent the different countries (with self-contained stories and jump-off options) also kinda feel like a similar vibe to the stops the girl takes on her journey to get her brother back?
That is literally Aether and Lumine’s story (Idk if it’s canon becuz I forgot, but I think the reason the Abyss sibling does what he/she does is because he/she was corrupted?!??!?)
Whoever is writing Genshin's lore and world building is like really well read and well learned to the point where only other people who are really well learned and well read can pick up. The way you are able to draw up all these connections between Genshin and real life counterparts and then speculate explanations and predictions is impressive. Also, the inverted world kinda brings new meaning to the InTeyvat flowers and Khaenri'ah.
Khanriah ruins are always upside-down too. So is it Teyvat that is actually upside-down? Was the disaster in Khanriah the event which creates a mirror world, or was it always that way and Khanriah was trying to break the mirror?
And non of it matters because casuals will only think of the game as waifu bait and gacha hell made only to make money from coomers. Looking at you Tcy...
@@j9-a Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, though considering Genshin Lore, is possibly that Venti's Attention Disorder is a Shade with plans of their own, in which case I nominate Alice as the most likely identity of said hypothetical Shade.
I am 90% certain that 'Skirk' is a reference to 'Scáthach', a celtic princess and teacher of warriors who lives is the 'Fortress of Shadows'; who also taught Cú Chullain. Cú Chullain who just happens to be known for his terrible battle frenzy where he becomes an unrecognizable monster.
It could be both! Alice is of course both a reference to Eris and Alice in Wonderland, so Skirk could contain more than one reference too. Childe’s foul legacy changes him into a Cyclope which gives more lenience to Circe from greek mythology. But I still love your idea of the reference to Cu Chullain.
More fun possibilities: His nickname means Hound of Culann. Since he slew Culann's dog and made the deal to do the dog's job. I once read a story where they made him a werewolf. Battle form + hound. A leap of imagination, but it worked.
Woah that last line though. "what you call wine we call the abyss." so interesting considering Kaeya and Dilucs difference in opinion when it comes to "wine" 😂
@@nikeolas Don't forget... in Giant Venti's Statue at Mondstadt... there is literraly Gateway to Celestia... soo is possible that Venti is 100% lying to Traveler
I always did and do Love AND Hate how much references and parallels Genshin makes everywhere. It might be to an important cultural this, a folk tale, popular games, real people, Whole operas and Mythologies, Even their own games and Mihoyo themselves 😭 Either they wanna include everything possible OR make all the players more confused with every new patch
It's what astonishes me about Genshin lore. There are so many references from so many cultures, sometimes a mix of multiple references for ONE character or aspect of the game. The employees behind all of these are too smart and absolutely crazy at the same time. I feel like an inferior human being when I see this genius!
@@usalisa3656 They took the phrase fiction imitate life seriously and slammed the collective views of humanity across multiple generations for the lore of their world.
Great watch! When you mentioned two people sharing one body, I immediately thought of Layla, since there is awake Layla and asleep Layla. She also deals with stars like Mona, and could be the same race as Alice. Asleep Layla also seems very knowledgably about things. That's definitely got me wondering.
She also idolizes Lisa, though they've never met (as far as awake Layla knows, anyways), and while Lisa is not directly affiliated with the Hexenzirkel (though I have the feeling that she's the unknown and involuntary successor to either N or M) she's closely associated with several of their successors and even Venti.
It's probably unrelated (though there might be a common root of insipration), but this reminds of the lore in the game Cultist Simulator. There are two (or one?) godlike entities known as the Twins. They are individually known as the Witch-and-Sister and the Sister-and-Witch. As mortals they sought union with one another, and one way or another they underwent apotheosis as a single entity with two reflections (or emanations, you might say). The best part is, they share the same occult aspects but in reverse order to each other. Very fun, and not at all confusing.
I saw this comment after I post mine own so Im reposting my similiar logic under here too: Two person sharing one body theory is so interesting especially after finishing Layla's hanging out event ~*minor spoilers ahead careful*~ looking at her susssspicious them pointy ears and most importantly she having DID which may be some kind of family trait/heritage as well, instead of just a monkey brain defence mechanism. Now I'm wondering what kinda "village" she came from. And the way she feels charged in nature and studying stars simply bc of admiration/the beauty of it sounds elfish and a bit wiccanic to me. ALSO Layla's mom made her an AMULET for luck which she had lost in the woods while running away from the tigers she accidentally stepped on LEL. NOW doesn't that sound kinda CRAFTY OwO She is so upset to lose smt so important to her but like the amulet kind of did its job in that sense amirite, it protected her. Edit: after writing this comment I realized klee’s dodo charm could be considered an amulet as well, does these witches’ coven has a common hobby for making amulets to protect their trouble children :O
If Klee and Alice's last name is indeed Little, imagine if Klee's father is named Stuart (the mouse Stuart Little) and like a lab rat, he's the first one to test if Alice's inventions are safe. Also in the Bible, the meaning of Stuart is “overseer” or “manager” over someone else's matters, imagine if Klee's father actually manages Alice's antics.
Klee was probably born through budding off Alice or is adopted or something. Everyone knows every "strong and independent" woman in the Hoyoverse don't need no man and has no man. Women also tend to be hypergamous by nature so it really doesn't help that there are a bunch of super power women but not very many men who are worth a dang, so there aren't very many men who those women would consider worthy.
I actually think hoyoverse switched the names(Barbeloth and Barbatos)/deliberately tried to decive players making the name sound like the other while the character or the name was supposed to be inspired by the other Because Barbelo has too much in common with venti, she pretty much always sleeps waking up only when disaster is coming to help humankind, she's a gentle god and is said to be "born as a reflection of the power of God" and not created by him just like Venti (being a thread of the thousands winds) was probably born WITH istaroth(the thousands winds) and not created by her. This implying Venti is actually "the traitor" that will help us against Celestia(being him the only not demon), and it would actually make sense. Venti is the queen the most powerful piece and clearly knows a lot more than he leads on (he actually and probably knows everything since he can hear through the wind) and is constantly trying to undermine his power and appear like the weakest, why is he the strongest piece then? Just like a traitor would do he is hiding his true strength until the time comes. He already assured the traveler he will always be his bard and be by his side in his adventures and he either can see the future or he saved the traveler's mind while the traveler was in the 500 years long nightmare (just like Barbelo usually associated with the holy spirit could do, the holy spirit has power to temper with the minds after all) Maybe Barbatos is just his undercover identity to hide his true self from celestia that couldn't check because his true self isn't actually in irminsul (being a part of a shade of a descender) but this fake identity is somehow in irminsul This is just my theory tho, I'd love to hear your thoughts on it but I think it's unlikely you'll ever read this 😂
Okay... so your idea that Teyvat is a reflection or reverse of another world... That makes me think of how Hoyo has said that whether you pick the male twin or the female twin, it's still canon. I thought this was just them saying that even if you picked Lumine, it's just a female version of what we see in the trailers and publicity. That you should consider your canon just as valid as the "official" canon they put on their videos and other outside media. But what if Teyvat is, like you said, two "mirror" worlds reflecting each other? Then that could mean that there are two stories happening simultaneously in each world, with one twin an outsider searching for this reverse universe version of themself. That would mean that both the Lumine and Aether verisions are LITERALLY official Hoyo canon, you're just picking which universe to be in.
There should be not just 2 worlds, but a lot. You see, in honkai universe (part of which is Teyvat) time isn't a line, but a tree, Imaginary Tree. Time flows through its trunk, branching into countless universes, so Teyvat anyway must have a lot of versions.
I think it’s probably more that the story doesn’t actually change at all, regardless of which twin you pick. It doesn’t make any difference, they’re basically just a model and pronoun swap. Both are canon, since the canon isn’t affected by the choice.
@@alexpav845 I think what you're saying and what I'm saying can both be true. There are countless versions of Teyvat, and we are playing in one of two versions that mirror each other.
@@TheCheeseman1983 That was my original interpretation, and it may indeed be no more than that. What I'm saying is, two mirroring universes opens up the possibility that it could also be literally true, that there are two simultaneous official canon versions of Teyvat.
The bit about Klee being based on Little Red Riding Hood is funny to me because in the early story, there was something with her and Razor during his story quest. I just thought it's pretty funny considering her being the red hood, and razor being- well, a wolf wannabe.
Very comprehensive summary of the Hexenzirkal lore. I just want to point out that Alice was probably imitating Rhindotter not Nicole, since Albedo responded just like Mona’s reaction when Alice imitated Barbaloth.
Albedo responded but it wasn’t the same way Mona did. She questioned directly why someone was imitating her master, while Albedo seemed to just want to let Alice know that he and the others are there too.
@@Catalyst_08 M is also probably dead as well as a mortal so only 3 of Alice friends revealed are still alive..... So I still think she was mimicking Rhindotter it could be Nicole but it still sounds more like Rhindotter as she recreates natural things "mimics".
@@WARPAINTandUnicorns Idk sounded more like a Nicole impression to me, especially since Alice was doing a almost monotone voice which is pretty close to how Nicole spoke to the traveler. But it’s all up in the air of course, I just don’t think Albedo recognized that “impression” as his masters like in the way Mona responded to the Barbeloth one.
@@Catalyst_08 True, totally up in the air! But I also got it from Albedo talking about how emotionless Rhindotter is currently in the game. She sounds warmer in the past cutscene but her current self is described as more depressed/withdrawn by comparison. I also picked up on this PAST Rhindotter sounding lively.
@@Catalyst_08 true. I interpreted that scene a little differently but this is very likely. Maybe I just think it would be funny if Alice just roasted Albedo using his master’s voice 😂
Tartaglia shares many similarities with Cú Chulainn. This would give Skirk the role of Scáthach who (along with Circe) is also known to be supreme among witches.
While I cannot say with certainty that I think it’s connected, there was a part of nahidas story quest that really made me think of Skirk. In the “Dream of Falling” section the character Kathya dreams about the plant given to her by a family friend, ’Professor Aisha’, 20 years ago before she went to “find the secrets of the abyss” and left Kathya a plant and a letter saying if the plant bloomed she would return. We find out this plant is not one known to the natural world and was created by special means, and that it was never meant to bloom. This is of course suspicious on its own but Kathya also mentions that the Professor was also skilled in combat as well as her academics. And apparently before she left she said “she had obtained some important evidence during her past adventures… if she didn’t set off right away, she might miss the perfect opportunity”. While I know this may be nothing it just seems so detailed and particular and thought others might want to know :)
"Snow White" is not "snow and ice royalty". She's just named that because her skin is as white as snow. There aren't any other connections to snow than that. "The Snow Queen" though, is a beautiful icy fairytale and I'm pretty sure they are gonna reference it a lot in the story surrounding the Tsaritsa.
@@shntnsh382 I'm sure it is but it is still a reference of the German fairytale. Which, as I said, has nothing to do with snow except that the mother dripped some blood into it and then wished her child would have these strong contrasts in her appearance. Which she had. But there are no other snow connections in that fairytale.
@@baeleth6469 Well, if you keep the understanding as broad as that, you're right. For me, it's just a name. "Snow and ice royalty" for me means that her position as the monarch('s wife) has to do with snow/ice. Like with the Snow Queen. But your point is fair too. :)
Wait if Klee's inspiration was "Little Red Riding Hood" then does that mean that's the reason why she's friends with Razor? (Even if in the actual story they aren't really friends)
To make a case for Rosalyne being one of the Hexenzierkel, I want to point out that two of the witches in the (lets call it) Witch Wheel, show them turning their back against the center of the circle. One that has her face completely obscured by her hair, and the other is facing away, but is still showing her face. I believe these two represent the two witches we never heard about in the event. It always struck me as odd that we regard Rosalyne as a mortal until she consumes herself with fire and turns into liquid flame. I am not too sure how a mortal could do that and survive (even if given a delusion afterward). We know she is a witch that hails from Mondstadt and we also know the Hexenzierkel witches wanted to fight Venti for whatever reason. Rosalyne was not happy with the outcome of her lover's life and blames Venti for his death. I presume this may stem from the witches initially wanting to usurp (maybe?) Venti, and some witches perhaps never fully trusted him. Venti's betrayal to Rosalyne is what turned her towards the Fatui to become La Signora. She had completely dropped her identity as a "witch" and probably why she sounds very offended when called a "witch". Perhaps the rest of the Hexenzierkel didn't see eye to eye with Rosalyne's strategy of revenge, thus her leaving the group and feeling hostile towards witchery. However, there is also a witch holding a flame that is facing inward within this Witch Wheel and could also be a reference to Signora, but for the sake of my theory, I will just ignore that and assume she has left the group and is one of the witches facing away, especially since the 2nd witch in the wheel has a red icon. If we're to believe the colors have meanings, aka elements, then red would most likely signify pyro. First witch must be Alice, 2nd witch would be... Rosalyne? Perhaps the witch with just her hair in the frame is Skirk??
Think back to the very first time we encounter Signora in-game; what do we see of her first? We don't see her face, or from behind, or a shadowy silhouette. We see her heeled foot coming down in step. In "the Mage's Tea Party," during the scene describing "the scariest witch," what do we see in the background? A woman's heeled foot coming down. This is a very strange image to include in this portion, and to me, it feels a specific but inexplicit reference to that first encounter . The woman depicted in this scene has an abundance of hair, and so far, Signora has the longest hair of any character in-game--if my memory is correct, her hair almost touches the floor. Further, the fear descriptor or synonyms has been attached to Signora's name several times; not only by the people who feared the Crimson Witch, but Signora's own subordinates within the Fatui are terrified of her. Would that quantify her as the scariest witch? I think so. Not only did the witches attempt to usurp Venti but align with him in the end, Rhinedottir is a member of the group and is often blamed for the abyssal monsters--the same monsters that killed Rosalyne's lover. Perhaps these two things in tandem pushes Signora to leave the group and detest being called a witch, because it reminds her of that group and that betrayal. As La Signora, she doesn't make much of a fuss being called a witch by Scaramouche during the 3.3 flashbacks. When she becomes the Crimson Witch of Embers, she recalls being called a witch and is angry and upset. And the reason is because the delusion suppresses her memories of her last life; we learn this from the descriptions of her boss drops. So deactivating the delusion, regaining her memories, likely reminded her of every painful aspect of her past life. Regarding liquid flame, there's two possible cases i feel for where she learned this. The first possibility is at the Akademiya. Remember, she studied there before the death of Rukkadevata, so the coursework and research was likely vastly different to the modern curriculum; methodology of the liquid flame art could have been banished to the restricted section following the Sages repositioning after Rukkadevata's death. The second place she could have learned it is from the Hexenzirkel. We know that Signora was a gifted student proficient in pyro magic, why else would she be accepted into the Akademiya? We know that the ladies of the Hexenzirkel have very specialized and unique powers, abilities, and fields of research. I think Signora's ability to use pyro without a vision could have easily slotted her into the group before the cataclysm, as a person who would have piqued Alice's curiosity. So until HYV comes out and tells us who the unknown members of the group are, I'm in camp Signora.
Rosalyne was consumed by fire not because Venti betrayed her but because of her grief. There's a difference. Venti didn't betray her in the first place. Rosalyne was not aware Venti was fighting Durin while KoF was fighting the abyssal monsters on the ground. Also, Signora wasn't vengeful to Venti when she snatched his gnosis. She didn't remember her past as Rosalyne until the battle in tenshukaku. As for them challenging Venti, who knows what their true intentions were.
Okay clearly you an Signora main have copium remember Rosalyne hates Venti cause he wasn't there to help her lover Rostam in battle and she hate begin call witch by her people
(theory) In regards to the goddess Nike likely being for Nicole, it COULD be because of the fact that "history is written by the victors(in war)" since usually when a nation is overthrown in war the victors would tend to destroy any books/history pertaining TO that nation and its accomplishments and thus simply try to erase it from history, or alter it.
It's insane how much references, details and thought Hoyo put into this, but what's more insane is how you, Ashikai, manage to decipher and find all these references and manage to explain this so well. The Hexenzirkel is a very interesting topic to talk about, I hope you will make more parts of this series and talking about the things you said at the end of the video, and once we get more info on the Hexenzirkel.
i REALLY hope alice is based on elysia from hi3, both klee and ely have elf-like ears and even their names sound similar. Also about venti's cn name being wendy, thats a reference to wendy from hi3 who was the herrscher of wind
Klee as little red riding hood works! It makes Razor the big bad wolf, and Draff the Hunter. This is so cute! Wonder who the Grandma would be... Edit: actually, if you take this seriously - that would be Boreas. In the bavarian version of the original tale, the Grandma of Red Riding Hood is feeling bad because she's been turned into a werewolf, and the wolf the hunter ends up killing is the grandma as revealed when the paw the hunter cut off the wolf to give to Red Ridinghood as a good luck charm turns into her grandm'a arm, identifying wart placement and all. Look, the original fairy tales of the brothers grimm were... well. grimm.
If Gold is Alice best friend, and Signet of Gold belongs to Eden in Honkai, then Alice is probably Elysia. Note that Elysia is also an elf, immortal, immensely powerful, and has a happy go lucky sincere personality.
@@serah666 ...huh? I am not caught up with Honkai at all and the most Flamechasers content I've gotten was through the fandom but isn't Kevin in love with Dr. MEI?
Considering they brought up the witches prior to Fontaine makes me wonder there will be a `Salem witch ` trial storyline. Also my kitten loves your voice edit: I believe Lisa mentions not liking the hexenzirkel which is why she isn't a part of it. And signora not being a part of the coven could just be that there are witches and they are not all part of or affiliated with the hexenzirkel.
well Lisa says that “Irminsul explorations and formal tea parties just leave her cold”, but she literally went to Spantamad where she studied the Ley-lines, directly connecting to Irminsul, and you can’t tell me that Lisa would dislike random tea parties. like yeah, she dislikes the Hexenzirkel, but ????why????
Considering the few other Greek Goddess reference, it's possible that "J", or even considering her first name starts with "I", could be a reference to juno
The way you outline the connections across culture and time is so satisfying. Really makes me hope that hoyoverse does a breakdown of how they crafted the world of genshin!
Something that crossed my mind while thinking about the mirrored theory with Lumine and Aether is that the Fatui harbingers, whose roles and names are based on the italian opera Commedia dell'arte, are MIRRORED versions of the actual roles. Tartaglia in the opera for instance is timid, mumbling, sometimes playing the old man. But in Genshin, he is techinically the mirrored version of that role. Young, confident, brazen. It's interesting that the looking glass mirror theory also fits every harbinger's original opera role!
Watching an Ashikai video is like going on a roller coaster. It can start calm, have little ups and down, but there is always a moment that it goes up up up and them a big drop of informations and theories VERY FAST. I love it
so interested to see the role venti plays in this all bc he is Everywhere… theres like literally no way that hes (willingly) allied with celestia or whatever (even though people seem to think otherwise and disregard a lot of canon that even if small implies otherwise). hes also definitely not the only archon who is sus in some way (looking at you possible descender peepaw zhongli)
The Hex & Hound also have roses on the cover and is a story about witches of all things. Could bet it's written by Andersdotter too and maybe be about one member of the hexenzirkel. Also I have to say that there's something very SUS about those spiky vines that kept showing on the tea party teaser. No one seems to care to much about them but 1) they r there even when their symbol appears at the very beginning. 2) they appear very clearly on Ivanovna's part 3) they weirdly remind of the BP cutscene when we see the first heir being deceive and believing she was the queen of the kingdom of darkness. Also J's teacup shows a rose on the background. When she's dancing there's also a pair of roses on a mirror all with lots of thorns of course. The weird thing is she having a connection with roses when our first thought with roses is clearly to think about Andersdotter. And isn't it weird andersdotter not having a 'personalized' tea cup of hers at all? Idk. Just maybe your big brain can work this out somehow.
First release since I subbed, and there's a debut countdown to the next video. I'm actually pretty hyped, especially being able to already see the timestamp headers. I almost feel like coming up with theories on what ashikai's theories will be. =p
Finally someone point out that Lisa can be in Hexenzirkle! I think Lisa must have been part of the organization and just didn't tell us. Because just because Mona's voice line says it leaves her cold doesn't literally mean she's not into it. She could be lying yes it's not much in Genshin but it's a possibility. Or I think she was offered it but declined. I definitely see her as someone who could be in Andersdotter"s place. Yes, my theory is based on the fact that Lisa loves books and she is libarian and Andersdotter wrote them, but maybe that's why she's an "ordinary" librarian, because she knows that these books contain allegories for real important events. I didn't know about the rose and that's why it supports me more in this theory. I'm not good at explaining like you so hopefully that makes sense lol. But we'll see and I'm happy for your videos! I always look forward to them!
+ the fact that Andersdotter in her line says: "My lifespan is nothing compare to yours. So I wish I leave you with storybook." Could thath mean she also have short lifespan same as Lisa for some knowlage or can that be some idk hiden thing. I don"t know but it"s keep me awake :D :D :D
Fun fact: in the swedish translations "Alice in Wonderland" is changed into "Alice i Underlandet" which has a double meaning. "Under" in swedish means both wonder AND under! And this strange land is reached through going down a rabbit hole so it is underneath too.
I find it funny that the devs actually confirmed that Andersdotter got "M" because "A" was already taken. Sometimes, the simplest answers are the best. 😂
I would like to propose a possible reason for why Gold might have created the Rifthounds. iirc, it was mentioned that the Rifthounds were created in the image of Andrius. Depending on when the Rifthounds were created, it might have been that Gold was trying to create a vessel for Andrius for his spirit to inhabit/tie itself to, and thus be able to occasionally leave Mondstadt or just have a body again. The Golden Wolflord could have been a prototype for a vessel big enough for Andrius, but it was more powerful than expected and became something other than expected. idk. that theory popped into my head while i was watching the part about Gold and the Riftwolves, so it's incomplete. XD
correct me if im wrong, but im pretty sure that the rifthounds were unintentionally created from some crumpled sketches and don't really have connections to andrius maybe rhinedottir was trying to draw up a concept for some rival to andrius and her failed attempts came to life by accident. it's also funny to think about the face that her creations sort of mirror the 4 winds. a dragon, wolf and a human she could've been trying to rival them, but probably gave up once barbatos and the hexenzirkel made a contract to not fight amongst themselves. maybe that's a bit too much of a stretch though
@@justapotato1176 ok. I went and pulled up the Living Being Archive in the game to double check, and yeah. Only the Golden Wolflord's entry says that it's one of Gold's unintentional creations. The Rifthounds' entries just say that they were created by Gold. I don't remember off the top of my head if we've had an event yet that properly goes into their origins. And I don't remember if there's a book or something that talks about Gold working on them. And I do get your point for maybe Gold was trying to create a rival to Andrius. Her creating a vessel for him seems too altruistic. Also, regarding her creations possibly mirroring the 4 winds, I don't think that's correct. If I remember correctly, the dragon, Durin, and the human, Albedo, were inspired by the real-world theoretical steps of alchemy toward the philosophers stone. So, maybe the parallels are intentional, but more likely they are unintentional. Because if you had the chance to make something cool and give it life, defiantly some of the things that someone would make would be a dragon, a human and a big ol wolf.
Ivanovna is Klee. Or at least, Klee is the “new” Ivanovna. Now, hear me out. With HSR, we meet the Vidyadhara, a race of long living creatures who also have “elf” like ears. Talking to a certain NPC, we learn that these creatures reincarnate when their current lifespan is done. They lose all of their memories from their past life, but, their past selves will often leave travel guides or advice for their new selves to help guide them after they are “born” again. Mostly because, well, they love to travel to other worlds. This sounds very similar to a certain special god in Genshin, and a certain mage, no? Nahida is the reborn version of the Dendro archon. She did not retain her memories of her previous life span either. Instead, she only learned about her being a part of a cycle of reincarnation later on, when she meets a vision of her past self. We also see Alice, who also has this long lifespan and Vidyadhara like ears, write travel guides. Alice, who is very obviously aware on how to travel world to world, and who is named after a famous storybook character who falls into another world. Almost as if she is prepping her future reincarnation to be prepared for their future travels. Something to note about the Vidyadhara however, is they they do not truly conceive or give birth in the way we think. They do not truly have any parents, as they are just reborn again when their previous self dies. So, how does Alice have a child, biologically that is? She doesn’t. But, she did have a great friend who was of a long living race like her. That friend, being “J”, or Ivanovna. So, when J’s lifespan was up, and it was her time to reincarnate, she may have made a deal with Alice. That deal being, for Alice to help watch over and guide her next incarnation. In a way, to be her “mother”. Need some subtle Easter eggs to back this theory? Look at J and the background in the clip where J is dancing with lover. J is seen wearing Klee’s signature red, and has blonde hair as well. The background? Has the same clover that Klee’s character design is associated with. Is this theory correct? Who knows. Is it interesting? Very.
Interesting if there is a connection between the Alberich line and Rhinedotter. Calibert's mother was from Mondstadt which is why I assumed Kaeya was left in Mondstadt. Perhaps there is a distant relation between Kaeya and Diluc, possibly through Diluc's mother. There are a lot of intersecting lines between the Abyss Order, Fatui, Hexenzirkel, and Mondstadt.
Always saw Klee as some Little Red Riding Hood but in genshin, but never would've thought it could go so much deeper than some inspiration in design, this really blew my mind I love how you always thinks outside of the box while connecting simple things like designs to Real World meanings and think of how it applies in Genshin Maybe a bigger stretch but Ivanovna could be related to Fischl like her mother or grandmother, which would explain the connections and the design of the theater at the PV alongside the blonde hair and it also kinda relates to how her parents were adventurers too, seeking knowledge from Teyvat and maybe just maybe the book that inspired Amy into being Fischl could well be related to her family origins and written by Andersdotter that could also kinda explain how Oz is real 'cause of some sort of Magical lineage of some sort? It's an enormous stretch, I know, but it kinda makes sense in a way? (Little but it does) Amazing video as always
Banger video as always!!! The Snow Queen connection really interested me since there's both heavy mirror and raven symbols in that story. As well as a boy and girl who separate when the boy (who could be Abyss Aether) acts unusually cruel to his female friend (Traveler Lumine?) when influenced by the outside force. Also there's a good Soviet animation of that story on YT for free if you were ever interested in an animated version of it, its pretty accurate to the story
As for the 7 chairs, I thought that since J left , and none were Succesors were recognised by Alice, that meant there were only 7 members since J left and thus 7 chairs
@@annaairahala9462 I thought it was odd that in that cutscene she tells the story of how she killed her husband but we're also told she left the Hexenzirkel because she was marrying him and it's kind of implied she never comes back again. So...did she stroll in one day to catch up with the girls and tell them about how she had to kill her husband? I'd like to say it isn't that deep but the problem with the stories Genshin likes to tell it almost always is EVEN DEEPER THAN YOU THINK. Which is why we have people like Ashikai. :)
@@anaplaysstuff Is it not possible that she remarried and that that was before joining the hexenzirkel? Sure it might be taboo for the time period she's from [clothar's social circle follows the "dont have children before marriage"] but the hexenzirkel dont seem to discriminate. Also I just .. have so many question about her since we see a red clover behind her, which is Klee's theme [I think, I'll need to rewatch it].
This is like listening to that one friend talk about something they are very passionate about, but even though you can barely keep up you can’t help but smile and be swept up along with them. 10/10 vid love the copious amounts of red strings
ok. ok. ok. soooo... listening to usual theory crafters is mostly getting all the detail that were saw in the story but everyone missed or ignored it and then sprinkling it with a bit of outside knowledge. BUT not with you, honestly it feels like you can get only a name from the game and you will pour your boundless knowledge all over our heads. Hence, and take it as a huge compliment, it doesn't feel like i am listening to someone who has merely peeked behind the curtains, but it feel like listening to a co-writer of the story of a play. More than speculations it seems like listening to an author explain why everything he has put in the game makes sense and is intertwined (like fate). I raise a cup of knowledge (or a capsule) to you! marvelous episode indeed
Oooooh, did NOT see that tie-in to Dawn Winery and Kaeya coming at the end there! The timing of the Hexenzirkel's story during this Windblume would actually make sense then, if players need to know it to understand what is coming in 3.8 (won't talk about leak content, except that both Klee and Kaeya supposedly feature)
As someone who grew up reading slavic fairytales, I don't think J is Baba Yaga. Yaga tends to be weirdly mischaracterized in non-slavic countries, and is so overused, I would be pretty dissapointed if J turned out to be her. Normally, she appears either as a caring mother figure who helps the main hero, or as an evil people eating witch who is tricked or bullied into, again, helping the main hero. She and her chicken-legged hut traditionally represent the barrier between the world of the living and the world of the dead. That's why she's sometimes called "baba yaga kostyanaya noga", or "baba yaga, the bone leg", she kind of exists between life and death. i can't find any characters from russian fairytales that are like J without making big stretches (tbh it would definitely be better to look at folklore of other slavic countries to find a better option) , but the closest one I've found is Helen the Wise or Elena Premudraya. Her name starts with the sound й or j, so it sounds kind of like Jelena (or Yelena? sorry i'm bad at phonetics) and is a tiny bit away from Ilena (more like Eelena, long e), and she's the only heroine whose name starts with й, everyone else is called Masha or Vasilisa. The fairytales differ, but the core stays the same: she is a princess and a witch who has a special mirror/book that can show her anything that is happening in the world. She tells the main hero that if he wants to marry her, he needs to hide from her for a day, and if she finds him by the end of the day, he's going to get decapitated. He hides from her with the help of his animal and/or magical friend/friends. Two times she finds him with her book/mirror , the third time he hides successfully, the day ends, he does not get killed and they get married. Apologies for bad english, I'm pretty rusty.
Hey ashikai I think u should take a look to "An Ode to Soul-Light" script that's found in House of Daena, it mentions some events that happened before the cataclysm i assume, and the letter is passed to someone named Nagarjuna who's probably the sage of a lost Akademiya school (darshan?) called Nagarjunites that was said to advocate the ideal of "the transmission of knowledge at all costs" and "conflict is the natural order of Teyvat.". They're no longer associated with the Akademiya, but they seem to exist deep in the desert. The script has some interesting quotes that I've had hard time trying to decode them, for example "In the chakras of the earth are contained the karmic seeds that will give birth to all things. The fleeting blights and glories of the earthly realm are naught but the illusion of existing seeds." Maybe the chakras of the earth mean the seven nations because mostly there's seven chakras of the body? I would love to hear your thoughts!
Read an interesting theory the other day (on the subreddit Genshin_Lore) that theorizes that Lisa is related to Andersdotter. I would recommend those interested to go find it, as it explains things better than I do. But to summarize the main points: -similar imagery: lisa's charged attack look like the hexenzirkel symbol, witch of the purple rose/boar princess/pale princess, books and stories, hexenzirkel has purple lantern and lisa has a purple lantern, etc - the "M" in Andersdotter's codename may be "Minci", Lisa's surname -Andersdotter is one of the few Hexenzirkel witches without a named descendant or successor/student, and Lisa's past pre-Akademiya is a complete mystery, meaning plausibility of a shared connection to the Minci family -Lisa knows about the secret society Hexenzirkel even though, well, it's a secret society, and it's odd that she knows about it when she's not a part of it Anyway thank you for your video Ashikai. I enjoyed the speculation
as a dane i have to mention that "Skirk" is almost exactly the word "Skurk" which means villain in danish,,, i thought maybe because there was already a reference to H.C. Andersen who was danish, so they'd have a connection with that.
Considering the Trevail had a special focus on Dottore and he eventually showed up not long after, do you think maybe the Hexenzirkel trailer may be alluding to something in Fontaine? Like, idk, Focalors or the court trying to bring them to justice going on a witch hunt of all things
Considering this is event cutscene, this feels like Iradori festival foreshadowing Scara's story arc in Sumeru. So maybe one of them will show up in Fontaine. I guess Nicole or Barbeloth are the most likely candidates for that.
A lot of people were speculating that dilucs mom is also a witch...but what if dilucs mom is skirk. Its a reach but it sort of makes sense in my head. Skirk would be tied to the ragnvindrs in some way, and now skirk is in the abyss (who are known as descendents of Khaenri'ah) if she specializes in abyssal transformation then it would give somewhat of a reason for Kaeya's father to place him with the ragnvindrs. Idk what I'm talking about. But it would be so interesting if that was the case...
I always wondered what the secret organization Diluc is part of was called. If it really is Hexenzirkel, then that would have some very interesting implictions, like the fact that Diluc might have some information about the abyss(which would likely be one of his main focused) and is also at least a little aware of the Irminsul existing.
23:02 actually it does say in Klee's character story 5 "This was the way things were until her parents left to travel to somewhere dangerous and far away. They entrusted Klee to the care of Albedo and the Knights of Favonius." so it does seem that Klee's dad is travelling with Alice, the question is just that why does it seem like he doesn't and Alice is alone even back in 2.8 GAA quest when Venti says he met Klee and Alice but only those two without any mention of the dad
@@annaairahala9462 Klee's father definitely exists or at least existed, Klee has a voiceline "About parents" in which she says "Mom and dad..." so she has one and we know he left with Alice we just don't know what happened to him since then
@@annaairahala9462 no he definitely existed cuz albedo mentioned him specifically and klee also say in her voiceline that her mom and 'dad' are the best meaning that klee's dad existed to both klee and albedo I think klee's dad is also an elf since klee is full blooded elf noy half blooded meaning her dad must be long living
Theme apart, but what if Venti uses his songs for recording events and protect them (you know, the time and the wind...). I think Venti says he already met us before. And if 4 descendants doesn't mean about 4 characters, but 4 iterations of your arrival, like in Matrix?
With so many influences and how they intertwine in this one world, if you're correct, that makes writers at Hoyo kind of insane. Can't be easy to keep track of all this.
i feel like the word 'hexenzirkel" translates better as "witch's circle", which is basically just a coven. hexen is just the plural form of witch in german. while the actual verb for hex is "verhexen".
The fiction books have the potential to be real events. It makes me hope fischl is actually supposed to have been or will be a princess. Could explain why mona would hang out with her, with mona being able to forsee that fischl has importance. But I just really like fischl and want her to have importance to the lore. :3
idk if this is a popular theory but i'll throw it out there: someone pointed out the tea set is exactly like the one in Dawn Winery, and some theories/hc's have Diluc's mother as a member/former member of the Hexenzirkel ^^ Food for thought ~ I think its interesting
An interesting thing I've figured during the 3.5 windbloom event is that the chairs on the floating island are each pointing towards a certain direction : one of them is pointing towards the time island (the one which is not visible on the map, that could probably be Alice's seat), other 3 are pointing towards mondo , other 2 towards Dragonspine, one towards down winery .
Such a great video! I am always so excited when you post a new video, and am also always so impatient for new ones. I love that you summed up the Hexenzirkel members, it makes it very cool for people like me who love Genshin lore but forget multiple details and don't go that deep by themselves with references and theories. Thank you for your work! ♥
Honestly, I would count J's patronymic being Ivanovna as a reference to slavic fairy tales. Ivan the Fool and Ivan Tsarevich are by far THE protagonists in russian fairy tales. J still could stand for Jaga/Iaga/Yaga, though.
Surprise that you don’t say anything about the hexenzirkel’s intention of challenging Barbatos. Wonderful video, Ashikai and Editor! I appreciate your hard work 🥰
Loving it! Absolutely loving it! I have also believed Lisa is harboring a secret. I honestly wonder if she and Diluc and maybe a few other Favonious Knights may be keeping in touch
Excuse me but i am baffled by the fact that you are a literal trove of knowledge on basically any kind of mythology and various literature. How the hell do these conclusions and connections come out of your head the way they do and somehow make perfect sense?! At this point i'm convinced you are secretly a writer for Genshin's Lore. You can't convince me otherwise.
Elmo dot gif at “inverted teyvat,” this is my favorite theory for how both twins are canon protagonists though I’m not sure if that’s where you were going with it. Another thing about mirrors - it makes a lot of sense to think of the directions in teyvat as “mirrored”, and there’s some evidence in-game to support that. 1) the description for the talent domain in sumeru, “no direction is truly different from the other” when talking about human souls ascending toward heaven while their hearts descend downward, 2) a few descriptions of the firmament equating it to a mirror, I think this is done at least once in the inazuma talent domain? “when the mirror shattered,” something like that. It made me think okay well, if the firmament was literally a mirror and hydromancy uses a mirror image to read fate, what happens when you point a mirror at a mirror? You get an infinity mirror 😐 Another amazing video, thank you for all your hard work and love put into these! Lots to think about now
25:30 - on the topic of Alice being a possible (and likely) reference to Alice in Wonderland, if Alice’s last name is “Liddell” (or Little) and Klee’s is also Liddell, then hear me out. If you reverse the name “Alice Pleasance Liddell” you get “Liddell Pleasance Alice” or Little Pleasant Alice, which is kind of a neat thing there. If you do the same with Klee’s and translate her name into English, because Klee means Clover in German, you get “Little Clover” and clovers are seen as a sign of good luck, and most people would think of luck as pleasant. And on the topic of Klee, if she really is a reference to Little Red Riding Hood, then who would her wolf be? Razor, of course. Razor, when first talking about her, calls her a “girl in red” (paraphrasing there, can’t remember the exact words) and they’re seen as good friends, so I think it’s kind of fun that Razor is the wolf to Klee’s Little Red Riding Hood. Not really anything lore related or important, just things I thought were fun to share :)
this did not dissapoint. genshin's marketing devision should hire you, these videos keep interest in the story to come more than any trailer they released ever did
I don't think you understand how marketing works. The people who watch these videos are people already invested into the game's story and lore. It won't be very appealing to grasp new players on a large scale
Yessss I've been waiting for this one for a while! All in all a wonderful quest and I can't wait to learn more about them. Thanks for breaking them down so well and I'm even more excited to see where they're involved with the story! Thanks for always doing an amazing job with these-literally my Genshin Lore Hero~
Imagine if Fischl remember Scaramuchi. Maybe she remember his encounter in a delusional way like a fantasy so because this memory is more like a fictional creation she remember meeting him but not who realy he is.
Very interesting point about skirk. First I've heard about her possiblu being a reference to Circe, so I think you could even argue that the Abyss is a parallel to her island she is trapped on and maybe a parallel to Childe being Odysseus (which yeah he is Ajax but we'll ignore that for now) since he finds himself in the Abyss and she takes care of him until he is able to leave, which is exactly what happens in the Odyssey (we will also ignore the romantic plot for the sake of theory).
ajax and odysseus were actually buddies who fought against the trojans, so it's actually possible our tartaglia took features from both historic figures. wouldn't be too surprising since he has three names/titles in-game
Why does Paimon REMEMBER scaramouche as he was before we tampered with time? Everyone else still doesn’t remember him, except traveler and Nahida who had good reason to. But Paimon says “at least he’s not as bad as before” or something along those lines after he gets his memory back and talks back to us. So either she remembered him somehow when Nahida returned his memories, or she just never actually forgot.
I'm currently on my literature studies and reading the Poetic Edda, and noticed that Dori was in the list of dwarves that came from the wet lands to settle in the desert: The race of the dwarfs in Dvalin's throng Down to Lofar the list must I tell; The rocks they left, and through wet lands They sought a home in the fields of sand. There were Draupnir and Dolgthrasir, Hor, Haugspori, Hlevang, Gloin, DORI, Ori, Duf, Andvari, Skirfir, Virfir, Skafith, Ai. Alf and Yngvi, Eikinskjaldi, Fjalar and Frosti, Fith and Ginnar; It's in this part at least. Mentioned alongside Dvalin of all things...I just thought it's a cool coincidence.
Venti has always known more than he puts on. Venti is the Peter Pan of Genshin Impact. Alice in Wonderland, The Steadfast Wooden Soldier, The Snow Queen. Hans Christian Andersen, James Barrie, Lewis Carol and the brothers Grim (who put the fairy tales together and down on paper, but wrote few of them) are the base the writers of Gension Impact would model the game on! I love the game and think the writers are super! What does Starsnatcher say? “All things are connected. That which mortals call, ‘Imagination’ is merely the bridge between the material and the spiritual.”
Didn't expect to find out that Diluc means "Dawn" here and now I'm sad. My ultimate wish for genshin ending other than the siblings reuniting is a happy ending for Ragbros. And now I found out Crepus name the winery after his son 🥲🥲
I did not see anyone mention this so I just wanted to throw this out there. When it comes to the long lifespan and pointed ears, this makes me thing Klee, Alice, Layla, and The Rooster could be elves. With Alice specifically calling herself the "one who cannot lie" it reminds me of legends or lore around elves not being able to lie to human, same with the Fae in general. Could be why she speaks in riddles as to not specifically tell a lie but work around the truth. For where I heard this, the Shadowhunter's series written by Casandra Clare, also Holly Black did a collab with her Immortal instrument series regarding the Fae. Just some interesting information I wanted to add for why I think the characters with pointy ears are elves. That also brings up immortality though which could be hard to describe in terms of Teyvat and how long Alice has been around.
Recently I've been having a very prominent focus on witches and traditional witchcraft as well as different portrayals of witches in media. So I came back to this video. Which just makes me so wonderfully happy because I love Genshin and combine that with my now prominent obsession with witchcraft I do enjoy hearing and learning about the Hexenzirkel because they're a coven of witches.

**Notes and Corrections**
- Lisa isn't actually in this video, but she's sussy and knows things about the Hexenzirkel so I used her for the thumb.
Can't include images so here's a link to some images from Childe Mains for reference: www.reddit.com/r/childemains/comments/ryytvl/childes_weapon_and_tape_are_similar_to_the_ones/
I think this can be similar to how Alice can be both Alice in Wonderland and potentially Eris, goddess of discord. Either way it works :P
The thumbnail is... Mommy...
Treachery...
Did childe also sleep with skirks sister?
Scathach also living in Dún Scáith might have something to do with her since 'Dún Scáith' means 'Fortress of Shadows'... you know, kinda of like a Abyss? Where Childe met Skirk?
Man there was alot of foreshadowing in the unrecognised star, especially when it come to Scaramouche
Oh gosh. You're _absolutely_ right. Klee is definitely Little Red Riding Hood. _That's why she's friends with Razor._ He's the wolf. That's probably also why he specifically identified her by the color red when you first meet him.

What about adultering themes from the original?
Omg, this is perfect

I was just thinking the same thing about the flowers and Khaenriah
It's like literal poets and historians are working with Hoyo, thus the immensely rich lore. It's all so amazingly done. ❤❤
Play Honkai Impact 3rd, the culture of the writers is even more obvious. About science, mythology and whatnot.
The Hexenzirkel and their personal successors are increasingly coming across as Venti's ADHD analog to the Fatui Harbingers.
The War between the Eternal Hustlers and the ADHD Maniacs
ADHD? What's Venti atention disorder doing?
@@j9-a Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, though considering Genshin Lore, is possibly that Venti's Attention Disorder is a Shade with plans of their own, in which case I nominate Alice as the most likely identity of said hypothetical Shade.
I’ve watched this video and never seen this comment, but this is now my favorite comment ever.
More fun possibilities:
His nickname means Hound of Culann. Since he slew Culann's dog and made the deal to do the dog's job. I once read a story where they made him a werewolf. Battle form + hound. A leap of imagination, but it worked.
That would be so fucking cool!!!
I think what you’re talking about is Cu Chullain’s warp spasm, its basically a berserk mode where he hulks out and he becomes a wild shapeless beast
LANCER IS DEAD!
Diluc was also born in April 30th which is when walpurgisnacht is celebrated which means "the day when the witches gather"
Woah that last line though. "what you call wine we call the abyss." so interesting considering Kaeya and Dilucs difference in opinion when it comes to "wine" 😂

I saw this comment after I post mine own so Im reposting my similiar logic under here too:
Two person sharing one body theory is so interesting especially after finishing Layla's hanging out event ~*minor spoilers ahead careful*~ looking at her susssspicious them pointy ears and most importantly she having DID which may be some kind of family trait/heritage as well, instead of just a monkey brain defence mechanism.
I had chills the moment you mentioned Dodoco as Lewis Carroll... I am in awe at the beauty of your theories and the game itseld
SAME! I felt a shiver down my spine, it fits so well!
That’s beautiful. I love it.
Klee was probably born through budding off Alice or is adopted or something. Everyone knows every "strong and independent" woman in the Hoyoverse don't need no man and has no man.
Women also tend to be hypergamous by nature so it really doesn't help that there are a bunch of super power women but not very many men who are worth a dang, so there aren't very many men who those women would consider worthy.
will not be surprise, hoyo named three npc as tic, tac, toe...🤣🤣🤣🤣
I actually think hoyoverse switched the names(Barbeloth and Barbatos)/deliberately tried to decive players making the name sound like the other while the character or the name was supposed to be inspired by the other
Because Barbelo has too much in common with venti, she pretty much always sleeps waking up only when disaster is coming to help humankind, she's a gentle god and is said to be "born as a reflection of the power of God" and not created by him just like Venti (being a thread of the thousands winds) was probably born WITH istaroth(the thousands winds) and not created by her.
He already assured the traveler he will always be his bard and be by his side in his adventures and he either can see the future or he saved the traveler's mind while the traveler was in the 500 years long nightmare (just like Barbelo usually associated with the holy spirit could do, the holy spirit has power to temper with the minds after all)
Maybe Barbatos is just his undercover identity to hide his true self from celestia that couldn't check because his true self isn't actually in irminsul (being a part of a shade of a descender) but this fake identity is somehow in irminsul
This is just my theory tho, I'd love to hear your thoughts on it but I think it's unlikely you'll ever read this 😂
Okay... so your idea that Teyvat is a reflection or reverse of another world...
Alice is such an intriguing figure. She leaves more questions than answers every time she appears
RIght, something this elaborate definitely must have a bigger significance
Oh yeah I remember this one. Definitely very sus~
The teapot pattern is not just found on Diluc's coat. It's also on the Dawn Winery carpet!
It's the translation. Especially in Chinese.
@@mendelynn I don't see why it would need more than that though? Royalty named after snow, I'd consider that "snow and ice royalty".
@@baeleth6469 Well, if you keep the understanding as broad as that, you're right. For me, it's just a name. "Snow and ice royalty" for me means that her position as the monarch('s wife) has to do with snow/ice. Like with the Snow Queen. But your point is fair too. :)
@mendelynn the mother pricked her finger on a spindle, bled onto the snow and wished for he to be like the snow.

Also Athena is a war goddess which ties into that well if i may add
Note that Elysia is also an elf, immortal, immensely powerful, and has a happy go lucky sincere personality.
if thats true gotta save those primos for pulls
Wow! Actually, I really do like your theory. We still have some connections between Flamechasers and Genshin Impact after all.

Neither Alice or Rhinedottir share any VAs with Elysia or Eden I very much doubt they’ll be expys

Considering they brought up the witches prior to Fontaine makes me wonder there will be a `Salem witch ` trial storyline. Also my kitten loves your voice
edit: I believe Lisa mentions not liking the hexenzirkel which is why she isn't a part of it.
Considering the few other Greek Goddess reference, it's possible that "J", or even considering her first name starts with "I", could be a reference to juno
actually i realized im dumb bc the greek name is hera and juno's her roman name ;(
The way you outline the connections across culture and time is so satisfying.
Welcome aboard! Let's don our tin foil hats together
XD
correct me if im wrong, but im pretty sure that the rifthounds were unintentionally created from some crumpled sketches and don't really have connections to andrius
maybe rhinedottir was trying to draw up a concept for some rival to andrius and her failed attempts came to life by accident.
it's also funny to think about the face that her creations sort of mirror the 4 winds.
a dragon, wolf and a human
she could've been trying to rival them, but probably gave up once barbatos and the hexenzirkel made a contract to not fight amongst themselves.
maybe that's a bit too much of a stretch though
Always saw Klee as some Little Red Riding Hood but in genshin, but never would've thought it could go so much deeper than some inspiration in design, this really blew my mind
I love how you always thinks outside of the box while connecting simple things like designs to Real World meanings and think of how it applies in Genshin
Maybe a bigger stretch but Ivanovna could be related to Fischl like her mother or grandmother, which would explain the connections and the design of the theater at the PV alongside the blonde hair and it also kinda relates to how her parents were adventurers too, seeking knowledge from Teyvat and maybe just maybe the book that inspired Amy into being Fischl could well be related to her family origins and written by Andersdotter that could also kinda explain how Oz is real 'cause of some sort of Magical lineage of some sort?
It's an enormous stretch, I know, but it kinda makes sense in a way? (Little but it does)
Amazing video as always
Also I just .. have so many question about her since we see a red clover behind her, which is Klee's theme [I think, I'll need to rewatch it].

ok. ok. ok. soooo...
listening to usual theory crafters is mostly getting all the detail that were saw in the story but everyone missed or ignored it and then sprinkling it with a bit of outside knowledge.
Hey ashikai
I think u should take a look to "An Ode to Soul-Light" script that's found in House of Daena, it mentions some events that happened before the cataclysm i assume, and the letter is passed to someone named Nagarjuna who's probably the sage of a lost Akademiya school (darshan?) called Nagarjunites that was said to advocate the ideal of "the transmission of knowledge at all costs" and "conflict is the natural order of Teyvat.". They're no longer associated with the Akademiya, but they seem to exist deep in the desert. The script has some interesting quotes that I've had hard time trying to decode them, for example "In the chakras of the earth are contained the karmic seeds that will give birth to all things.
The fleeting blights and glories of the earthly realm are naught but the illusion of existing seeds."
Maybe the chakras of the earth mean the seven nations because mostly there's seven chakras of the body?
I would love to hear your thoughts!
Read an interesting theory the other day (on the subreddit Genshin_Lore) that theorizes that Lisa is related to Andersdotter. I would recommend those interested to go find it, as it explains things better than I do. But to summarize the main points:
-similar imagery: lisa's charged attack look like the hexenzirkel symbol, witch of the purple rose/boar princess/pale princess, books and stories, hexenzirkel has purple lantern and lisa has a purple lantern, etc
- the "M" in Andersdotter's codename may be "Minci", Lisa's surname
-Andersdotter is one of the few Hexenzirkel witches without a named descendant or successor/student, and Lisa's past pre-Akademiya is a complete mystery, meaning plausibility of a shared connection to the Minci family
-Lisa knows about the secret society Hexenzirkel even though, well, it's a secret society, and it's odd that she knows about it when she's not a part of it
Anyway thank you for your video Ashikai. I enjoyed the speculation
She might have known it because they invited her to be a part of it but Lisa declined.
@justwandering if her ancestor was a hexenzirkel witch it could also make sense, also is odd they didn't seem to invite barbeloth's genius student 🤔
@@a.g9586 perhaps because B already appointed Mona to be her successor so an invite wasn't necessary 🤔
@justwandering but how does Mona not knowing about the Hexenzirkel make sense with being invited to be B's successor...
as a dane i have to mention that "Skirk" is almost exactly the word "Skurk" which means villain in danish,,,
i thought maybe because there was already a reference to H.C.
At this point I’m considering Klee’s dad to be dead until proven otherwise.
Theme apart, but what if Venti uses his songs for recording events and protect them (you know, the time and the wind...). I think Venti says he already met us before. And if 4 descendants doesn't mean about 4 characters, but 4 iterations of your arrival, like in Matrix?
i just find it so insane how mhy was able to connect all these stories together even when the originial source doesnt how do they even think of this
The inversion theory also could be applied to the Gnosis chess we see Pierro playing in the Harbinger Trailer which is facinating.
With so many influences and how they intertwine in this one world, if you're correct, that makes writers at Hoyo kind of insane. Can't be easy to keep track of all this.
I want at least 1 hexenzirkel members to be playable. Alice probably most likely.
Alice+Klee+Albedo team?
They're all going to be playable. They're too important to not be playable. All alive members, that is
@@hey7492 I faintly remembered that was what people said about signora too.
@@adancingcat7473 I literally said ''all alive members''
@@hey7492 Signora was also alive when people were saying that she has to be playable. Just saying.
i feel like the word 'hexenzirkel" translates better as "witch's circle", which is basically just a coven. hexen is just the plural form of witch in german. while the actual verb for hex is "verhexen".
I can't. MIND BLOWING VIDEO. Genshin's LORE is INSANE.
The fiction books have the potential to be real events. It makes me hope fischl is actually supposed to have been or will be a princess. Could explain why mona would hang out with her, with mona being able to forsee that fischl has importance.
But I just really like fischl and want her to have importance to the lore. :3
I love your nerdy nature
You're keeping genshin alive for so many
idk if this is a popular theory but i'll throw it out there: someone pointed out the tea set is exactly like the one in Dawn Winery, and some theories/hc's have Diluc's mother as a member/former member of the Hexenzirkel ^^ Food for thought ~ I think its interesting
She already mentioned this in the video.
Me seeing this video after playing Fontaine Archon Quest: (Surprised Pikachu face)
Ye, me too
Especially the Skirk part
I appreciate your hard work 🥰
I can see the red lines connecting everywhere and everything whenever I hear your theory’s
You really know how to keep us spellbound on these magical theroys
damn that sponsor spot transition was SMOOOOOTH
The fact that there are 8 of them, and their connection to knowledge, stories and song makes me think of the Greek muses. Just food for thought.
You get an infinity mirror 😐
Another amazing video, thank you for all your hard work and love put into these! Lots to think about now
15:29 dang you called that from 7 versions back!
Your videos always leave me in a great mood. Thanks for sharing your crazy theories with us 💛
Love the fact that you got sponsored!
And it's about a product that's somewhat related to Genshin players, not random sponsors.
In other words, the storytelling in this game sucks.
No need to be so passive aggressive about it
it was simply a compliment for how engaging the video was, you read too much into it.
@@lordvaltasar4646
Am I wrong though?
My goodness. I only started to watch video, but introduction video has so magical atmosphere! Well done
Alice might also take inspiration from Elysium since the Apple Archipelago has some parallels with it and is sort of her playground as of now.
Also the way she is characterized is insanely similar to Elysia from Honkai who is directly named after Elysium since she named herself after it
@@Raurraurraursometimes elysia's cn name is translated to Alicia
Imagine if Fischl remember Scaramuchi. Maybe she remember his encounter in a delusional way like a fantasy so because this memory is more like a fictional creation she remember meeting him but not who realy he is.
I like how as soon as Enkanomiya came up you said "nope not gonna to there", still managed to blow my mind without going to that accursed sussy area
Yay you finished it ❤
I’ve been obsessed with the lore
I'm currently on my literature studies and reading the Poetic Edda, and noticed that Dori was in the list of dwarves that came from the wet lands to settle in the desert:
The race of the dwarfs
in Dvalin's throng
Down to Lofar
the list must I tell;
The rocks they left,
and through wet lands
They sought a home
in the fields of sand.
There were Draupnir
and Dolgthrasir,
Hor, Haugspori,
Hlevang, Gloin,
DORI, Ori,
Duf, Andvari,
Skirfir, Virfir,
Skafith, Ai.
Alf and Yngvi,
Eikinskjaldi,
Fjalar and Frosti,
Fith and Ginnar;
It's in this part at least.
Another banger of a theory.. Never fail to blow my head with these theories...
I can't help but to crave for more.
the new summer event w the veluryiam mirage could probably account for the "alice trapped in bottle" part
