I used to smoke 1-2 cigarettes a day for a year. I wasnt addicted, i enjoyed it, i felt good, relaxed. I knew it was bad for my health, my skin problems got worse. I got tired of smoking and one day I just stopped smoking completely. I dont think I had any major side effects. I just decided to stop and I stopped.
I quit smoking easily and didn't experience any withdrawal symptoms but I always "relapse" in winter lol it's just too good to light one up with a cup of coffee in a chilly morning
Smoking during the summer isn't as enjoyable

Hi Connie! I ran into your channel in August during a calm family vacation down in the Balkans so watching your videos always takes me back to that period and brings me a lotta joy. I also at times get overwhelmed by the world and get worried about things out of my control so it's always nice to get a moment of calm and appreciation for life while watching your vids. 1 month late but i really appreciate this video. i relate in a lot of ways, i have issues w being present and feeling angry about many things in the world. anger is natural of course, it drives us to do things and be passionate about things or push change, but i feel like it swallows me most of the time & if i'm not angry then i'm just sad, because i'm absolutely powerless. typing this out made me realize that i just have to write more hahah so thanks for this outlet i guess! have a good, peaceful day connie

The rooftop is beautiful, truly an amazing place to spend your time and chill. About a week ago there was a stream where you said that you can only speak English and Portugese, Japanese was mentioned later as a language that you would have wished to learn some time in the future maybe. I'm surprised that you take it so seriously now! The characters and your notes didn't look like beginner level so I'm impressed! I'm learning Chinese from time to time so we have a similar path when we learn the characters.

What a great video, I have this so often and I feel with you that my thoughts are somewhere else and I can't even appreciate the moment, I also got so angry two days ago because I was thinking about what is being done to people, and that some people can no longer walk. Sometimes it's so bad for me that I can barely sleep because of the thoughts.

I'll fully admit that I think about other things 90% of the time. I feel it can be problematic if you let it, but as long as you bring yourself out of it and into the present when it matters, it is what it is. I do enjoy the shower immensely, and it's my time to reflect or even think about nothing.
Gratitude is definitely important, but you can get there without forcing it in every moment. Like, if you're having a rough patch, reminding yourself to be grateful for the things you have is a good way to stay grounded, but, if you force it, you'll grow to resent the feeling and the things that made you feel it. That's obviously not good.
You've definitely got the peaceful vibes going on, which is something I love about your channel. Maybe in times where you start to feel agitated over small things, try to channel that peaceful feeling and just let it fill you.
Oh and your guitar playing is definitely better than mine was when I quit and gave it to my brother. It's hard to believe that was 17 years ago, but he still plays, so it worked out.

My smokes of choice are herbs and weed. Tastes better, smells better, not half as destructive as nicotine. Wish more people knew how good smoking lavender is. Mix it with chamomile and I just float.

You remind me of so many girls where I am from in southern Massachusetts. We have a very high Portuguese population of people from the Azores especially Sao Miguel and the mainland. I learned alot of Portuguese because it is a commonly spoken language in this part of the USA. We enjoy Sagres, Sumol, Agua Castelo, and eat lots of linguica and chourico. We also have the biggest Portuguese feast in the world every summer and drink 40% of all Madeira wine produced in only 4 days! When I watch your videos I feel so at home even though so are so far away.
