↬♡ I do not encourage or condone the usage of Tobacco or Tobacco products. I am 22 years old, from Portugal, where the legal age to smoke is 18. If you're under the legal age to smoke get out of my channel please.♡
↬♡ I do not own any of the music played throughout the whole film. All credits go to the rightful owners and creators. ♡
↬♡ do not try this at home, this is JUST for entertainment purposes
↬ if you don't already smoke then now it's NOT the time to start. I think that the best way to enjoy my videos would be with a coloring book or some soap bubbles while listening to me talk! stay safe :)♡

True in my experience too. Psychology class is full of people that have self diagnosed with a mental disorder and boast their ego with it.
True. And social media idolises mental illnesses too 😅😅
yes, suddenly everyone has undiagnosed ADHD. Although i do believe that it is far more common than we think, most problems that are common in human nature like lack of proper attention span etc.. can stem from so many things that are unrelated to any mental 'ilness'.@@starlightgirl8863
COVID ruined the UNI experience for A LOT of us. And UNI just came across like a gateway to the soul-sucking future of the corporate hellscape that awaits, so with all the downsides and none of the benefits, your decision is more than understandable. With 23 years alive, and 17 of them being just constant schooling, here I am, with my Masters, a comfy enough job, but I can't help but feel I can't do this much longer. My first dive into nihilism happened when COVID started in my 2nd year of my undergrad, and now the void in my chest just grows bigger, it's actually so annoying for a lack of a better term, it's not sadness, it's not anger either, it's just... annoying.
you're not alone! hang in there friend :) thanks for leaving such a personal comment, I appreciate you!
We have a similar story. I dropped out of medical school in year two after being a A+ student all of my life. Simply realised that I hated working with ill people and wanted to do something completely different. Now I am in year two of studying European literature and I love it so much. Dropping out of med school was the best decision for me!
Uni online was awful. It probably contributed to many people dropping out.
im glad things worked out!!
I'm thinking about dropping out of med school rn... but its so scary:/
lighting up a cigarette with you, because I dropped out of university today haha
let‘s pursuit our dreams and make them happen:)
you got this!
Your parents seem so understanding and great! thanks for sharing connie your experience is definitely universal
W parents
Yes, I feel that
When you isolate yourself because of lockdown or other things, it's so hard to get back to life afterwards, to pick yourself up.
But never give up.
Wish you only the best
Nice video Connie
This was a brilliant video. So happy that you have found your place here at YT. Wishing you much success at whatever path you take from here! 😘😘
Recently I have found your videos and it has helped me a lot see how you talk about mental health, I have been dealing with depression and suicide for 4 years now I finished highschool in 2019 but I refused to go to college see your videos talking about your struggles it makes me feel like I am not alone thanks.
A very adult and thoughtful approach. I found college pretty boring (as an art student) and more of a social challenge than an academic one. I learned FAR more about myself and my skill when I finally graduated with the degree (which many employers REQUIRED at the time) and lucked into a pretty good job which thankfully took me 22 years into middle age. I have a pension! Then I got another totally different career. My point is that I found out what I could do, do reasonably well, and I hung with it as long as my talent was required. So then, Dear Connie, examine yourself and your interests as you coast a while out of school and go back when you have a better idea what suits you. Make sure you can tolerate it, enjoy it and - important - make enough money to have an exploratory and interesting life, because I think you're a curious and intelligent person. Good luck! Get that degree, whatever it is, and enjoy yourself.... at the pace that makes you comfortable. Then come tell us about it here!!!
thank you!!!!
Dude me too. I study psychology at University. And I have ADHD, everything is make ma overwhelmed when I want to study.😢
Great story Connie!! In my personal experience, I went to local college for 2 years and then went to get a full time job instead of going to a 4 year school. I would go back but it'd be afte a few years when things changed. Point is everyone is different in what they want or what they want to do for school/trade school and what not.
I felt your situation today cuz I've been through something similar....more power to you ....love you girl n top of everything thank you for being awesome 🦭🤍🍀we are strong
we are indeed!!!

Connie dropped out of university and into all of our hearts
Connie: I too went to a junior college and found it very worthwhile, then I transferred to and large university. I found some classes had 500 students!!!! I said "what the hell is this"? And they have the nerve to charge tuition for this garbage ( and nerve to keep raising tuition.) I found it was a lousy learning environment and a lousy environment to be in in general so I dropped out the first semester. Shortly thereafter I went to a smaller college and got my degree. Now days these 4 year colleges are just 90% hype and not worth stakeing your life on. Whatever you do Connie study your future and school and make sure that the TIME AND MONEY spent provides a comfortable living when you get out. Keep up the wonderful vids. Take care Jim
Always loved my Junior College, because it was literally 15 minutes away. But when I went the the University, it was exactly the opposite. Even in competative terms, "that right there is a circle", just rotten terrain, walking up and down, everywhere. And the way people become distant, like this math teacher would wisper, litterally no book, you would have to be reading her mind to understand ANYTHING that came out of her mouth. The problem was also that I had finished Calculus, and these problems were so easy to solve, that I couldn't even grasp their frame of refernce. Besides the course is $700 and most books are $100, the distance would give me nightmares, like face painting in multicultural phylosophy. I dreamed I only showed up once a month to share about basket weaving in a retards facility.
dropped out but planning on going back. looking forward to hearing what you have to say!
good luck!!! i think learning is crucial and university is an amazing place to do so and also build some contacts and social connections! if you live in a country like mine where you can do it for very cheap its a very very good thing to add to your resume!!
I love the way when youre videos make feel somthing like calm and peacefull mind..thanke you so much connie❤️❤️❤️
I never felt stimulated enough to try with the stuff they taught in school, I somehow did decent to get into a good college but Im on a verge of dropping out (Im already failing, just taking a gap semester to plan things and get my money up) because I was focused on being a full time trader/investor which doesn’t require schooling. I self taught myself everything I would need to know and now am able to trade full time… but that was met with disappointed professor, not doing finals, failing, skipping classes, etc. College felt like a huge distraction from my goals and everyone was at a slow pace. I wanted to operate at my own pace. Quarintije with covid happening during the end of my senior high school year, so my first year of college was very bland with online classes and some in empty person classes
Oh and my parents dealing with this sucked because it took them a while to understand my perspective
your videos are always so calming, I'm like you in the sense that I love commuting places, that moment of peace to reflect. your videos feel like sitting on a bus looking out the window while listening to music, they are a moment of peace, so thank you for posting them. it was also really nice hearing that I'm not alone in struggling with studying, I turn 21 in almost a week, but I'm not studying. I'm working at the moment and I have no idea what I'm meant to do next, I've been stressed about it because my grades from school are terrible (I was diagnosed with adhd at 19, so after I was done with school) but I think I'll figure it out, I always believe that things will work out somehow, and I'm happy working right now
I’m on the bus now, had to run! but I wanted to ask, have you ever tried a mint cigarette? like the ones with the little balls in the filter you pop, those are my favorites at the moment as it just started snowing in Norway, they always remind me on winter🤍
thank you for this amazing comment!! I'm glad you're doing something you enjoy at the moment, thats all that really matters:)
I love you Connie it is fine if you dropped off uni it is fine you are impressing us all and you are already making money we all love you
Coming to realization in US that college is not for everyone. Trade schools can provide excellent careers also. Plumbers electricians are
always in demand
They’re certainly more in demand than the vast majority of college grads. Even those who have ‘useful degrees’ like math and engineering are MUCH less in demand than plumbers and electricians.
qnd nos sentimos perdidos é tao ruim. E lembrando da covid assim fiquei tao triste, tanta gente ficou tao mal
This video really helped me and reassured me because I find it so relatable, thank you connie:D
:))
hello Connie! i reccomend you to roll your own cigarette in a video in the future. i suggest buying yellow camel tobacco (you dont need 50gramms you can buy the 30 gramm pack) ocb premium rice papers (the pack itself has a black exterior) and ocb premium stick filters. i dont know if they are available in portugal, but they are in hungary. if you are able to buy these components, you can roll the best cigarettes you have ever had. i recommend putting some dried lavender in the tobacco
Connie: Psychology Professors at the University I attended were ALL very "WIERD" OLD MEN in Large Auditorium Classes. Instructors in the small classroom Lab Sessions were all "ordinary", though. I always wondered in my mind if the PROFESSORS had been NORMAL when THEY were undergrads and then changed OR if they had ALWAYS been WIERD? Never found out. I could NEVER picture YOU being WEIRD had you studied Psychology, though. Love you much. :-)
I truly love hearing your life stories. Thank you!
Great story and thank you for sharing your video ❤❤
Your skin is glowing! can you do a makeup routine or skincare? that be cool 😎
yes!! thank you so much
I didn't get my BS until I was 40. I used to say I was on the 20-year program. I started out in marketing and wanted to go into cigarette advertising. I've collected cigarette ads and liked them so much for nearly 50 years. However, I'm not a business person. Some have said I don't have a 'business' bone in my body. I switched to computer science and that's what I eventually got my BS in, although I'm unsure it's done me much good job, or career wise. Here in the US the tobacco industry hasn't been able to advertise to speak of in print for years and it's been 50 years of so since they could advertise on TV. I believe in Western Europe there hasn't been much in the way of conventional cigarette advertising for even longer. I believe the tobacco industry does 3rd party marketing today to insulate themselves from liability and responsibility. You appear to be pretty successful at RUclips, but it all revolves around smoking. I would think a problem with that in our very anti-smoking times... well, compared to when I was younger, I'm 61... is that I'd think you're likely to get typecast in that role in connection to smoking, and it might be difficult to move beyond that. When I was younger smoking was a common social habit that was well accepted... and smoking didn't have some typecasting impact that I'm suggesting it might have today. I wouldn't describe smoking as well accepted today. Unfortunately, in the anti-smoking times that we live in today, for many people if they associate you with smoking that's often the only thing they will see. Especially if you're so public about it as you are... and I have been, and in my case, about my cigarette ads too. You've been so successful here on RUclips it's obvious that you have some substantive talent. I'm wondering if perhaps you might try diversifying yourself in directions that take you into areas not involving your smoking? Unfortunately, I doubt the cultural responses to smoking are likely to become any more positive any time in the foreseeable future. I don't have your talents, but over the last 10 years I've been making my experience with cigarettes and cigarette ads more a private part of my life.. It'll always be an important part of me. But perhaps because of the cultural environment we live in today it's perhaps a part of me that it's best to keep more private. With your demonstrated talents in building such a successful RUclips channel perhaps it should be possible for you apply those talents to other pursuits revolving around smoking? One way or another, there's something special in you and I hope you can find more ways to share those talents with the world.
It’s 4 in the morning I’m smoking a nice malbro red and watching your videos the perfect combination 😊
Connie you're the best ❤
The way you talk is soo good. 😊
You are the most relatable person i have seen on RUclips
i wish you well
oh thats intresting!! thanks for leaving such a nice comment :D
You are awesome connie love yours videos you are a very intelligent woman as you are
I would like to say that back in 1994 I believe. I remember watching the CBC News and there was a Portuguese fishing boat in Canadian waters. So the boat was told to leave and it did. At the time it was a pretty big disagreement between Govt's.
I just realized that we are the same age!
Online learning is tough, and I don't like it. It requires a lot of self-discipline and a distraction-free environment that is preferably not your home. I didn't do well with online classes either.
If I do pretty good in a exam next year I'll probably study psychology 😎👍
lets go!!!! you got this!!
I’m an industrial in manufacturing engineer and I don’t really like my job opportunities
It seems like during covid and after Covid a lot of us struggled mentally and affected our decisions for collage
My story -
When I was 13, there was a group in my school.. They called me one day...i was like okay lets go its time to play and chill with the boys but
When I went there, they sent me to buy ciggs, I thought it was for them, so I bought it and gave it to them.
Then they told me to take a sip. I said " no dude I'm just a kid i cant " then those people started slapping me and and pulling my hairs forcefully.... After some time.. My eyes turned red due to the smoke and I started crying. One of em taught me how to inhale.
They did this thing to me for 5 days and threatened me due to which I could not tell anyone.
The end - i never smoked anything after that incident
5th nov.
Suddenly...After 5 years i dont know why im craving ciggs. I don't wanna smoke but my mind says its bad for u
But on the other hand
I just feel like sitting on the balcony with my thoughts and a cigarette.
Maybe cuz of stress? Or anything else
Estou a terminar um mestrado pós laboral à noite. Trabalho full time como engenheiro. Vivo sozinho. Tenho de tratar da roupa, das contas, do comer e etc. Não sei como consegui. Só falta a tese. Woooo
ur actually so beautiful
this is why i am taking a gap year but im in the mindset of im so bored i really want to go to college but im horrible at school but my parents are trying to push me as hard as possible
Best of luck!
University being like a competition of who is most mentally ill, classic! 😂😂
Connie, I just viewed your university video. Does Portugal have guaranteed student loans thru the government? They have ruined higher education in America . The students take out these loans they can't ever dismiss so they come out after 4 years with a worthless degree (usually sociology) that many will never be able to payoff in their lifetime. Often, $100,000 to 200,000 and up debt. It's extremely unfair, the government forces them to keep the loan, the loan company that does the loans also abuse the students and the schools keep raising tuition for doing nothing cause they know the loans are guaranteed. Students come out realizing they would have been far better off going to a 2 year trade school . Anyway, if this ever comes up in Portugal, rally strongly against it. Take care Connie Jim
Hi Connie from the Internet 😁😁😊😊
Connie: In England, County of DEVON, City of EXETER, @ EXETER University starting next year 2024, they be begin offering a course in Magic & Occult Sciences! You would Graduate a Full Fledged WITCH!!! One of Our Granddaughter's started lobbying for us to Move to England so SHE can become a witch!!! Let me know if YOU want to join us for 4 years in EXETER!!! They have Internet there so it wouldn't affect your RUclips channel. :-)
Appreciate your content and willingness to be vulnerable with your audience, Connie
As a graduating hs student, I relate hard to over studying and almost being a teacher's pet to my own detriment because of burn out
take care of yourself!! you got thiiis

@@connieramos oh that nice , so just letting you know im in pretty much in the same situation after covid the same with you , its like we experience the same staff , and know i got a job and dont know what i am doing really :) , i am from greece btw
I declared love to you ❤
If you don't have any backup plans for future financial stability, I hope you return to university. Since a degree can be a great financial asset and a safety net in case your future endeavours are unsuccessful. However, perhaps in the future, by some miracle, you will discover some luck. Much love and luck to you.
Connie:I know why you dropped out of the university: you were surrounded by too many dummies, if they were as smart as Connie, they wouldn't be there to begin with, they'd be going to a trade school,( at least that's the way it works in the U.S.) including professors and students. Keep up your outstanding work. See you soon byeeee Jim
The reality is that college is more about playing the social game than actually learning anything useful. And I say this as an MSME.
❤❤
It’s weird I don’t know you, but I am so much like you yet we’re super different and I live very far away from you all at the same time😂. The internet is wild isn’t it.
What tho? These are the exact reasons I wanna go uni no???😮😢😂😂
What cigarette is that
Damn I'm trying to reduce the number of cigarettes I'm smoking (I came across her channel I guess searching about a vape [which has 0-nicotine version too]),and certainly her smoking doesn't help 😃(I'm fighting off cravings to light up one and it's damn torture ... kidding ... very very unpleasant though [when you have nicotine cravings but you don't get the nicotine]) but at the same time I want to know the story. So I guess I might cheat and turn on the autogenerated English subtitles and read the transcript😁
ur r young, u could go back later❤

Y don't u show the pack of tobacco?
This video specifically wasn't about the tobacco itself!

Hate to say this, but running a YT channel where you smoke isn't a great thing for you. Maybe you need to get married and have kids.
you don't do twitch?
if you wanna make an actual career off of this then maybe you should consider streaming.. number one, the live format would fit your "just chatting/wondering around" style much better. And 2, Twitch is where the all the money is lol
It feels o calm to watch your vids I would love to talk with you hours it would be a great experience ♥️🪄
