Play the original Reign of Chaos Undead campaign from an Night Elf perspective in an alternate, non-canon reality. All players are race-swapped, including your allies and your enemies! Was guessing you'd get either Huntresses or Dryads but fsr I didn't expect Sylvanas to be raised as normal (more precisely, like Shandris in the last Night Elf mission). Also I didn't understand why you'd sold the Claws instead of giving it to her but then I saw she didn't have an inventory, good call Jayburrito!

First thing's first: I made this before knowing of The Lonely Nightstar. So KT was a big coincidence
I'm sad you've stopped guessing what the swaps are going to be. That's what I really liked about your other playthroughs: wondering who the Darkspear trolls, Scourge and Muradin were going to be replaced by. I was expecting you to try to guess KT's swap. And you almost missed Anasterian Bonestrider. Though, I like the fact you thought about Dryads being part of the Legion.
KT's class was teased since Overgrowth. The class that replaced Liches and the name "Lich King" is replaced with.
Sylvanas was originally called "Wind Ranger", named after the Dota 2 hero. You can see it in her abilities being wind based. But I replaced it with "Rainbow Ranger", which will be her class in Legacy of the Kaldorei, where she will have more unique spells. Not sure if you were mocking her quotes because you thought the actress was bad. The reason they might sound off is that her night elf soundset is entirely custom. Written by me and voiced by AI.
The runners have Heavy armor, so DotTs deal a lot of damage to them with their magic attack.
I was wondering if Sylvanas' voice lines were custom made or just ones I'd never heard before. I really like them; they fit perfectly with the base game's voices (in style and delivery).
@@grewinn4647 I wrote all lines by taking inspiration from other units in the game and other Blizzard games. "The stars align" is based on the SC2 Oracle. She also has 4 pissed quotes which explain her backstory
I think you should change the legion name, something opposite of burning.

I can see now how WC3 Alternates work in lore:
Orc -> The humans came from another planet (in this case Earth), so I can imagine that it is something like SC1, that they mastered some technology that helped them travel between time and space, but the techonology how it worked is now lost to time about, after lots of wars. Or they used their technology to travel out among the stars.
Human -> The undead. Once they came to Alternate Azorath they learn about magic and then the people have learned to be something between life and death, but still try to be kind as well even if they are dead and then there can be a lot of ethical questions about what which is living and non-living, what is a life and not a life (to give birth or to be among the old). Especially if Earth was a planet among the living and the undead people were something like the inhuman and evil. and it might be more interesting if The humans were the bad guys and the undead were just the ones trying to do their own living undead shit. Like the humans blame the undead for being somewhat inhuman but they can still live as if it were underground or an underworld.
Nightelf -> Orcs and trolls. It says in lore that all life on azoroth evolved from yes, forest animals or at least animals in general, so you can just as easily use the same explanation for orcs and trolls (ogres) as night elves, just maybe more towards the rocky and mountain side than that tree and forest? But I don't know, it's probably both.
Undead -> Night elf
Anyway. This "perfect" trio world, between The human, undead and Orcs was untouched until the more twisted forms of nightelf, or in this case shadow elf/demons, came to Azoroth with dears the warden lord and Burning legonon, and wanted to destroy and /or change EVERYTHING into his own, well, shadow nightmare image.
Hope you enjoyed my interpretation, It was fun writing this. :D

This makes me excited if the author decides to also do TFT, how would the Blood Elves be swapped? Would they be Half Dead or something?
Imagine, the darkwell was what gave them immortality but at the cost of living flesh and now without they could be slowly reverting back to their fleshy selves, the curse of mortality through aging.
There's quite abit that can be potentially done for sure and it is exciting to think about.

Original Sylvanas: High Elf Ranger --(gets killed and revived by Arthas)-> Undead Banshee --(posseses her own body)-> Undead High Elf Dark Ranger
Alternate Sylvanas: Necrolord Banshee --(possesses the body of a High Elf Ranger (her sisters do the same))-> Necrolord High Elf Dark Ranger --(gets transformed by Arthas)-> Night Elf Rainbow Ranger

I'm guessing: Drek'thar, since he's Thrall's teacher like how Cenarius taught Malfurion; or Gul'dan, who introduced the orcs to demonic magic.

For clarification: night elfs are orcs af far as I know, that’s why I called them Night Orcs, and I am interested in who will be Cenarius from the Night elves

If only I had realistic TTS back then. Though to be fair, Silvermoon doesn't make much sense for high/blood elves either. It feels more like a night elven name. And before someone says high elves were originally night elves/highbourne, their dynasty was called the Sunstriders, so naming something "-moon" doesn't make much sense. The real explanation is that this name comes from Wc2 in which the elf culture wasn't really defined

The word "Moon" from Silvermoon does make Silvermoon more of a Night Elven capital.......
Also, the High Elves capital should've been called Silver Covenant....

The runners are faster here (talondruids are a nice touch, so I expect faerie dragons some other time then). That covers huntresses and sylvanas(wonder why their armor was changed tho). Well, if "warden-lord" didn't tip you off... I see the old voice has been refined, nice. What was the name of elves raised under lich king, darkfallen?, if seeing necrolords' techtree is any indication, we might have a chance to use it later (unless that's been changed).
Speaking of ai-voice, was it used in the first iterations of each campaign(didn't recognize some lines heroes had first time seeing this project)?
Runners have Heavy Armor so Druids of the Talon deal double damage to them with their Magic Attacks.
Originally there was no AI voice and edited lines were done by merging other lines or by muting the audio.
Then an Arthas TTS appeared and I added his lines.
Now there's a TTS that can be used to voice any character. I used it for the lines that were muted, but I still missed some of them.
@@xetanth87 Interesting, that explains a lot more beyond usage for this. Well executed runner portion btw (and perhaps the only logical way to introduce talondruids).
Regarding keepers(for future reference), will they have different main stat between them? Also, aside from them being able to treant, will other druids be able to as well or that reserved for ai?
hippograph is one of the best anti air there is other than the gyrocopter,what are you talking about jay lmao
It’s really not but also they aren’t versatile. I wouldn’t make Gyrocopters either in this situation.

I like that the race swap is also a gender swap for KT even if the voice is a bit strange.
Why is the Silvermoon hero an ogre though ? I mean there is a custom skin but I don't know what we're supposed to look at
He's not an Ogre. He's Anasterian Bonestrider, King of the Necrolords and High Apothecary. He rides a mutated orc abomination. Which is the first orc with flesh we've seen so far. The other orcs being the Grunts and Archers
@@xetanth87 ok, alchemist to apothecary makes sense. And they are indeed orcish skeletons, good to know since it could have been just the lack of custom models

Rainbow Ranger, so Sylvanas is secretly a power ranger?
In Legacy of the Kaldorei, she will have new abilities based on rainbows and light. It's not a theme that is present in Wc3, so I think it would be a fun concept

Watch Exodus of the Alliance and Overgrowth of Lordaeron for the full sotry. Arthas became a night elf after using Felsong to go into metamorphosis for the first time

Rainbow ranger Sylvanas sounds plausible as like 10-year old OTL Sylvanas or something. Part of it is probably the title Rainbow Ranger setting expectations.
