Does the glitter transfer to the brush or the monomer afterward? Is it difficult clean up?
Do u have to use a top coat or can u use a regular clear nail polish for the acrylic nails so it can shine

you can use any topcoat you like :)
When you put the glitter on, is it straight on that nail with the pearl, then encasing it?
Or do you do a first coat with just the pearl, then mix with glitter+pearl and put on top, and then encase it??

you'd have no strength/structure in the nails that way

Hi Lucy great to have some videos again definitely need my fix lol! My client I had the other day wanted black nails with a glitter fade from the tip down, after it looked really bulky :( is there any tips to do glitter on top of a coloured acrylic? Thank you! Xx

Hi Sharon, I only really work with acrylic, I'd recommend getting some proffessional training before using gel polish

no, you need to use glitter for nail art or cosmetic glitter, craft glitter won't be suitable

Forgive me as I'm a beginer..... is it better to dip the acrylic in to the glitter then encapsulate with clear? I've seen methods mixing the glitter and acrylic together? I'm confused as to which is the best practice? Thanks!
much easier as you won't end up with lots of pots of acrylic/glitter mixed and more control of where the glitter goes and keeping the layers thin

That's monomer, and yes you can encapsulate glitter in hard gel too :)

lol thanks I’ve actually bought over $3000 worth of acrylic and drills and everything I need. That’s when I first started and I was so confused 🤷♀️ my nail room looks like an actual nail salon!

I'm currently encapsulating my glitter with clear acrylic powder from born pretty but even after I put a top coat the shine and holographic ting to the glitter doesn't come back... am I using the wrong powder or top coat?
make sure to use fresh monomer so the clear acrylic isn't cloudy :)
I tried this once and I didn’t realise u had to put a topcoat to acc see it properly so mine ended up looking really bad
