Season 2 is great, and I'ma tell you what: my favorite episode ain't even happened yet. It gets even better. This episode is also one of many times Morty ends up creating way more death and destruction by trying to do the right thing. And unlike other times when he only killed when he's in immediate danger, he distracted Fart by getting him to sing and then killed him before he got the chance.
The reason Rick’s spaceship looks so crappy, is because he built it out of spare-parts and junk. If you look closely, there are literally a pair of old aluminum garbage cans on the sides.
It was way back in episode 1 but Rick said he built his car out of things he found in the garage. The headlights are taped on and the engines are housed in metal garbage cans. So that's why it looks shitty compared to everyone else's.

Not another timeline a different Universe. We exist in one universe among a Multiverse which contains an infinite amount of universes of deviations of which exists multiple Multiverses with a higher degree of deviations per Multiverse within the Omniverse or what some may call a Xenoverse as the higher ranks tend to mesh together in definitions depending on the show/ideologies. Whereas, when one universe gets altered through a temporal anomaly, it triggers a division imagine a rope composed of all those little fibers comprising the rope itself an alteration in the set definition of the "Timeline" causes a Tether Event which causes a piece of the rope to tether off from the main string/rope whatever, where its the same universe but a cause and effect will yield two different outcomes NORMALLY, causing the universe A to split into Universe A 1 and Universe A 2 which they themselves can split off themselves. Rick doesn't like to dabble in time travel because he says if it's done he doesn't have interest in it but in actuality it's because it becomes more complicated, a lot more than traveling the Omniverse but in this show they only talk about Multiverse, but with well Spoiler Spoiler Don't read past this if you actually are invested in the show. Spoiler Spoiler The Central Finite Curve only spans in the Multiverse so they do acknowledge beyond the Multiverse and into the Omniverse. Of which here Rick is no longer the deity like individual, he is either dumbed down, people exist far smarter than him here, or simply non existent but with all this said, due to the complexities of both the show and the actuality of the theories and science, the fine line of realistic and unrealistic is the same, meaning what you can't believe exists or can't exist does exist for the sheer amount of existence and nonexistence, the finite and infinite becomes the same. So pretty much anything shown is canon, even in a universe without a Rick or Morty, is canon. All can fall under the fundamental properties of temporal anomalies. Of which becomes even more vastly complex that even the Temporal Anomalies are bound to a cause and effect law and it continues beyond that as Infinity is simply the 0 or Finite number er... beginning of the Infinity Series which Aleph Null is simply the 1 number in it's basis.
I haven't watched rick and morty in a while but I think my favorite after-credits scene (or maybe it's just a delivery) is how stoked Rick is, "haha! it's the greatest place in the universe, AND i get to be in the commercial!" actually, spoilers, I think season 4 has a better end-credit scene. do not read further if you haven't seen through season 4 "and goomby!" that story train commercial was cool

Season 2 is by far the best in the series. Total Rickall still stands as the best episode, and the finale is amazing.
