Probably the opposite...Uwerks was a great animator and excellent at drawing and refining techniques...Walt was none of those..but he did have the imagination and the skills to motivate....there were hundreds of mice in early silent cartoons...nothing original there..but Walt took the risk of sound and had the best animator...result: a fresh take on an old and tried cartoon stand-by...the rest is history
