X3 better just end with Tidus n Yuna being married n Tidus being a pro Blitzballer.
    Or
Maybe have Sin wipe out all of Spira and Yuna recreates the whole world.

@@LongLiveLedZeppelin I'm not arguing Auron never had a daughter. I'm arguing that he never would have told Tidus and the rest of the party about his daughter. Auron really only tells the team anything if it becomes important. Auron during the Braska and Jecht days probably would have mentioned his daughter because past Auron and main story Auron are very different.

This sounds absolutely dreadful. Bringing back sin kinda destroys the whole hope against all odds theme in ff10. It even under cuts ff10-2's religious liberation theme.
Also what you said about there not needing to be a reason for sin's return, sure you could just say its there whatever, but can you imagine if tidus asked why sin existed in the first game, and everyone just shrugged and said "I dunno, does there need to be a reason?"
Will not considor ff10-3 canon if this is the shit they are throwing our way.

    • @FinalFantasyPeasant
      @FinalFantasyPeasant  7 лет назад +15

those are two different points. Why would the people in spira shrug at a reason for sin returns? Of course there has to be a good reason and the novella has given that. My point was how does 1 foe returning make the previous time meaningless? If an enemy nation attacks your country and you fight to defeat them. Then the same enemy attacks years later, does it make the time you defended your country the first time meaningless? Were the people who gave lives in WW1 for nothing because WW2? Again in the example, Batman beating Jocker.

    • @austaneousc5802
      @austaneousc5802 7 лет назад +27

Final Fantasy Peasant I get what you're saying, but I have to disagree.
Stories should follow a belieavable thematic structure, and when you recycle plot lines or create new ones from character arcs that already have satisfying conclusions, it just cheapens all of it.
I think that war anology is incorrect. Sin is a symbolic force as much as a physical one. It represents the negatives of blind faith among other things. The people were never at war with Sin, they just thought they were. WW1 and 2 were real wars, there was never any dramatic point to them, so using them in the context of good story telling is wrong.
The joker can keep coming back because its a show, it follows a different blueprint to how movies are made, and it can get away with those sorts of things. The dark knight trilogy for example, didnt have the joker return in the last movie, because that wouldnt add anything to the overall plot.
Its the same with ff10. Its story is self contained, they didnt even need a second one, but whatever. Some people liked it. But its clear they never intended to continue its story beyond the first game. I'm not saying a sequel, prequel or spin off cant be done right, it just needs to have something more than money driving it, which I'm of the opinion this is all ff10-3 would have.

    • @gamewizord
      @gamewizord Год назад

@@austaneousc5802ot to mention story reasons joker coming back isn't comparable to sin I've played 10 multiple times maybe I need a refresher but didn't they do what they did at the end of 10 so sin couldn't return.
It was like every 10 years or whatever long and sin would return after being defeated they did what they did at 10s ending so that can't happen again so the cycle of sin ends. So to me bringing sin back just ruins their sacrifice at 10s ending which does show tidus coming back at the end of the credits which I never knew wad there always thought was a 10-2 thing. But that's all we need he came back that's it.
Maybe I'm unaware of what happens in 10-2 since I never finished it but not sure what happened that would somehow make sin return. If something did then 10-2 should've never been made.

I recently read the hated novella X-2.5 The Price of Eternity, and I must say it was quite interesting. I’m probably in the minority but I definitely think the story was amazing and actually quite realistic in a way the games weren’t able to convey. Nojima just made me realized that through both games, the story was centralized during the Machina War. Has no one ever wondered what Spira was like pre-War? The question was answered through X-2.5; he gave us an insight into the world Spira was before the war, Sin, Yevon and all that crap. If they do make X-3 happens, I wouldn’t mind if they incorporate elements from the novella and audio drama into the storyline but I do hope they would give us a game that further allows us to explore Spira’s past because it’s truly rich in lore and history.

Purely speculation but what if Johit was Yu-Yevon in disguise creating an illusion to make Yuna open the farplane to wish back sin herself? He basically made Yuna break through the boundaries between life and death to let Tidus return, which should make it possible to return Yu-Yevon alongside his own "shell" Sin. Yu-Yevon could even reappear in his original human form and command sin as his eternal Aeon.

Having not heard the audio drama, but seen this video, it makes perfect sense. Keep in mind that since the farplace is out of sync, everyone can come back. Lets say Yu Yevon is gone for good, but imagine this. Sin returns with Seymore, and the other Yevon priests as the harbingers of death and destruction. Yuna and the 'new generation' summoners are banding together with also the return of Braska and Auron. Chuami and Kurgum have a relationship evolve like Yuna and Tidus, with the Auron reunion throwing a spanner into the Chuami Kurgum evolution. Braska and Jecht likewise will interact with Yuna and Tidus to cement their fracturing relationship. Braska and Cid will also be able to resolve their disjointed relationship that was caused with Braska marrying into the Al Bhed. Now all of them would have to unite even with their myriad of problems and disagreements to face the new evil of Sin, (possibly a manifestation of Seymore who wanted to become Sin and destroy the world). In doing so the Al Bhed and Yevonites would unite to defeat Sin, 'fix' the farplane, and produce a new era in Spira. This would also allow Braska and Jecht as well as the others who returned from the winning side to remain in Spira. As a result, Yuna would be able to pursue her own life, with Tidus by her side without fear of losing him. Braska would be able with Auron, to reform the Church of Yevon into a more honorable, less corrupt, and true church of Yevon. The Al Bhed would help usher in a golden age of machina, while the Aeons would still exist for summoners. There are so many ways this story can play out in X-3 that would create something perhaps even more dramatic and touching than FFX and FFX-2, both of which are still dear to my heart even years after I played the game. Clocking 490 hours on it kind of helped too. We shouldn't be so quick to dismiss this as with the right creative, it would be able to tie up so many loose ends and be the truely happy ending some of us were wishing for with Yuna and Tidus, Lulu and Waka, Chuami and Kurgum, Yuna and Braska, and Tidus and Jecht.

Jacob Teague if he was Sin, then at least it was Jecht again, Seymour is a fine as a character, but the most annoying boss, especially if ya lose to him everything fight (all FF boss fights, must be some 'curse' lol), but he did talk about wanting to bring death to Spira if ge was Sin then it's even more important to get rid of him before even more people die. speaking of Ardyn sure he's an interesting character, and I want to learn more about him, but what he did to Luna and Noctis involving Prompto's I can not forgive, he's currently FF's biggest ass hole to me, and I used to think that of Caius Ballad, I hope to one day see Noctis and Ardyn in Dissidia, because kicking his butt many times will be fun, plus just because I think they'd be awesome to see in Dissidia with all the moves they can do, so yeah some villains I feel sad for others make me question if they really are bad, then some are just a bunch of dicks or are crazy, for the most part Seymour is the latter, not Kefka nuts but close, yeah. Also the hardest boss for me are ones that can heal themselves, I hate when an enemy has that ability, it just makes that fight even harder, and annoying at times too. 😂😂😰😅

Jacob Teague for years I've noticed that every boss fight I'm in in any FF game I own, I get stuck, no matter how powerful my party is I lose in the first try of the fight, it's usually not until the third or fourth try that I finally win, I will not let that happen with The Creator in FF 4: The After Years (PSP), because losing a second would be embarrassing (I'm one of those odd players who talks to the characters when I'm frustrated with losses, yeah), just FF has this "problem" for me too, but I still try, it's just now I know going in blindly is never a good idea. XD I want to beat the ones I own before starting to play or get any others, FFs 1, 4, 9, they're ones I'm closest to finishing, so close, yep. XD 😅☺😂🌹

Talking about Chuami here, people forget what Auron was like when he was younger; in fact Chuami is nicer compared to Auron, just watch the Jecht spheres. It's because he gets older is why he's more mellowed out.
But my thing is what worries me the most; Yuna dealing with Sin. It's strange to me that Yuna would bother to bring up the final aeon being the means of defeating Sin, when she knows that method is completely irrelevant at that point. Maybe I'm just being paranoid but I'm thinking if and whenever X-3 happens Yuna may resurrect the final aeon cycle, which would turn the lore of X into a complete tragedy; not bad tragedy, but poetic tragedy. I myself really like the audio drama for this reason, as it sparks emotion and thought about its story, andentirety of X's lore as a whole, which is what a good story should do.

I read a fan translated version of the novel from the french edition to english, it can be found here: ffx3chat.createaforum.com/general-discussion/~eternal-cost~-french-to-english-translation-47/
I think what bothers me the most is the fact that it feels like everyone is acting (both in the novel and audio drama) like they did in the beginning of FFX, like all character growth is out the window. I am also a huge sap so that Tidus' and Yuna's relationship falls apart so fast is painful but I also have a realistic side and I could've taken T & Y growing apart in time but killing him like right after she gets him back is just rude. It's interesting that he seems weak already before he dies, and is really bad at blitzball all of a sudden, and then in Will he is a star again, even though he is still weak and sickly.
I also have such a hard time coming to terms with Yuna going back with Yevon, after all she knows and went through. Even if it is for the elders or finding out more about her summoner powers, there must be another way than re-joining the church who kept everyone in the dark for 1000 years. I wish she would do it more on her own rather than seem like she shows support for the Yevonites. She also says that the final aeon is the only way to beat Sin, which we all know isn't true. Why would she of all people claim that?
Also the change of canon w the shoopuffs, there were many of them in Bikanel island in FFX-2 and now they're extinct since long? The conversation that Yuna has w Rikku & Paine in Last mission, is it different from the non remastered version? I've only seen fan translated of the original but it differs, that would also be a change of canon.
However it is quite exciting who would beckon Sin, and some of the other parts of the stories, I feel that it is quite cliffhanger-y but at the same time the ending of a new game would be either similar to X or X-2 so it might feel repetitive. I would love to go back to Spira, X & X-2 are my favourite games and stories but I would prefer completely new challenges though. That the eternal calm wouldn't be disturbed by a resurrection of Sin. I agree with you about Chuami, she's badass and she alone makes me want X-3. I really just wanted the freaking good ending of X-2 to be the final. Yup, sap!

I think FFX-3 definitely has potential. And I think the reason why Chuami is rude is revealed by what she said...
    SPOILERS
"My mother was killed by Yevoner hunters. She was impaled by a spear and died with blood streaming from her chest. She wasn't a Yevoner, just a sympathizer. If it wasn't for them..."
The description of this brutality might be a hint that FFX-3 could be darker than the previous games. Would this be more favorable to people? Imagine FFX-3 with an M rating.
I didn't watch FFX-Will for a long time because I didn't like the rumors I heard. But after I replayed the remasters and listened to the audio drama, it made me feel excited for FFX-3!

For me, the novella explains some points from the first time I heard the audio drama (Why Tidus's grip was weak, why Yuna was making up a faux excuse to break up with Tidus, why she has been distant to him and also the reason for things coming back from the Farplane) So many potential topics and issues for the Square Enix team to dive into and expand more into the secrets that Spira is still hiding. As for the drama between Tidus and Yuna, I don't mind too much because it gives endless possibilities of where their relationship can go. Plus, recent Final Fantasy entries has become quite dark and i do welcome some of those elements to come into play if they do green light Final Fantasy X-3. Now all we can do is wait on news for Final Fantasy VII Remake and Kingdom Hearts III :D
THEN we can see what the future holds for Square Enix.

Ok so...No 2.5 WHATSOEVER...Tidus being brought back to life just to die again so sin can come back is a horrible idea. Now say when the fayth brought Tidus back in X-2 let THAT cause a disruption and sin, auron, braska will all come back that works. But Tidus dying again to come back as a spirit making him obviously disappear at the end of the game again is lame. Perfect story - Tidus comes back at the end of X-2, The team lives out their lives then chuami tells Yuna of how Tidus doesnt seem the same, Dead come back to life along with Sin, Yuna doesnt want the closest person to her becoming the final aeon so she breaks up with Tidus, Story goes on about how a summoner who strongly believed in the teachings of Yevon saw how bringing back Sin from the farplane is the only way to make Yevons religion relevant again (theories are going around that Yuna brought back sin, but after all that fighting from both her AND her father i doubt she'd throw away all their hard work.) Have Nojima perfect a script similar to what i wrote above and ill buy it day one. Bs about Tidus kicking a bomb and dying again really makes his overall character feel expendable and i might be only 1 fan of many but thats NOT what drives a compelling story to me. I bought the collectors on Ps3 and again on Vita, i'd love to have closer with the series in a 3rd installment. Thumbs up dude!

so the literal one and only detail that is rubbing it the wrong way for you is Tidus dying for another time? I mean technically this IS the first times its happened. He never died last time he just faded from a dream.

Final Fantasy Peasant When our "main character", i dont even know if we can keep calling him that at this point lol, but when his life is that easy to lose (getting blown up and his head flying into the air really?) then it really show how 1) Tidus isnt that important. (Yes hes important to Yuna and for progression of the story but that seems like that's his main purpose now to "progress the story", if he dies that soon into the story then it really shows hes not a main character he's literally a stepping stone for the plot and 2) Any emotional attachment for the people that actually like Tidus is wasted because he's just turned into an expenable character now. Dying to evoke more feelings from the fans, but does it really? Since we just got him back like i understand how fans say its a slap in the face cause who cares that you played an entire game getting Tidus back again (X-2) we killed him again cause we gotta bring back sin...

I really didn't want a 10-3. I was happy with Tidus/Yuna happy ending yay one more mission yay, but now that you got this in the mix... MAYBE I can see it happening.
Though tbh until it's confirmed, for me, the novella and epilogue never happened. Yuna and Tidus are still happy together and live a quiet life on Besaid Island. =o=

    Limitless possibilities!!!!
And after reviewing all of this information, hell yes I want this to be ffx3!

The reason bringing Sin back was a stupid idea was because the events of FFX was supposed to lead to an ETERNAL calm. Like you said they could have simply fabricated a new villain, and that would have caused much less outrage. If they do in fact make FFX-3 my only hope is that they write the story in a way that bringing back Sin somehow makes sense.

    • @SeraphCircle
      @SeraphCircle 6 лет назад

well 1. nothing's eternal 2. eternal calm is a made up name.
even if sin didnt return eventually humanity would create another machina war, vegnagun, the farplane would run unstable, some sort of astronomical cataclysm would happen, or just outright entropy would fuck everything

To me it was so obvious, especially from Lulu's comments, that Yuna is in love with a different Tidus, the one we played and the one she falls in love with, and this means Tidus has changed and he's behaving differently/not caring. Lulu's pressuring Tidus to realize Yuna is hurting and to care... maybe he grew distant because of Blitzball. I really don't think Yuna is lying like some enraged teenager.

Anyone in the comments complaining about X-3's plot will still buy it in an instant lol
The biggest complain I keep hearing is that ruins Tidus and Yuna's "perfect" relationship at the end of X-2. If anyone thinks relationships are perfect then they've never had one lol
Most of the people who are fans of X, fans of Tidus and Yuna's relationship were teenagers when they experienced this game. I sure was. But now as adults, we should be given a story that's a bit more mature when it comes to this "perfect" relationship. It's not all fairies and rainbows. The reason I don't play FF anymore is because those games are still aimed at teenagers and their blinded naive outlook on the world (I LITERALLY threw away FF13's disc in the trash can because of how idiotic that Snow guy sounded. "Hero! Hope! Love!" Get the fuck out of here). People hating Chuami because she's "rude" is just another example of people not liking their safe bubble of love and happiness being chattered.
If X-3 happens, I don't want that stupid, cutesy, moe-kind of relationship. These were two KIDS, 18 and 19 years old I believe, who never really had a chance to spend time as being part of a relationship except for a couple scenes. X-3 tackling their relationship by putting strain on it, you know like real adult relationships? Sign me up.
There are of course things about this I don't like (Sin coming back, for example) but to complain that a relationship gets put to the test in new ways as a negative? Grow up. There are some great concepts in this but the only thing people focus on is "boo-hoo you ruined my perfect relationship between Tidus and Yuna. Waaaa!"
People can complain all they want, but they all know that those $60 in their wallets will end up Squeenix's pockets once the game releases.

I'd be all for another game set in Spira, but if this is what they'll be basing it on I'd rather they just create a brand new story dealing with entirely new characters.
For me, Yuna and TIdus' story is done. They've had two incredible game endings, one bittersweet and one full of joy, and I think it's time to just let them be.
And I think maybe that's why people are so divided over this; the audio drama and novella were (and still are) entirely unnecessary, and seemingly have done more harm than good by being so divisive.

  • @papisaoco708

Thank u for clearin up the novella and the audio drama which i finally watched thru ur link.. i had a bad taste in my mouth frm wat i had herd abt them, mainly the novella, but u painted a real picture of wat happened in them. About Chuami i fuck w her as much as u do. i LOVE her bluntness, how real she is, from the moment she pointed out she got no romantic interest in kurgum & that aint some ironic set-up to a romance between them... i love people & characters who aint afraid to call out clichés and rebuke them, so from that moment i respected Chuami. I'm not against Sin coming back off the strength that there's COUNTLESS possibilities of what cud happen.. tying in the novella n how yuna disrupted the farplane n moonflow phenomenon, it was all prolly johit's plan from the beginnin, was johit reli yu yevon in disguise the whole time.. all the characters that cud come back is there gona b a playable party mixed w random characters like shuyin, braska, jecht, auron, chappu, & luzzu/gatta.. or a party of all the high summoners.. or more 1000 yr old doppelgangers of familiar characters.. does yu yevon have 2000 yr old Benevolent doppelganger whose "sin" was the one that appeared, leaving the villain to be a far more dangerous character of the ancient past? will there be other aeons like a diablos, alexander, leviathan, siren, gilgamesh etc? i always wanted the prequel of braska's journey but this cud also clear things up about that journey thru flashbacks wile still bringin in newer characters etc. i was upset tho how yuna even mentioned fightin sin w the final aeon like the old ways, that was HIGHLY upsetting. that shuda never evn came into mind especially for her. All i know is the battle system better stay between ffx's & ffx-2's .. time-based is the best imo, ffx-2 though the story n gameplay were a fail in my eyes i did enjoy that battle system alot, its the perfect mix btwn time based and active, it was fast but u still had time to go thru a list of various moves n there was imagery for the magic etc, the dress-spheres were fun & brought new jobs we weren't used to seeing... if they make it an active battle system, or make it so u only control 1 character (for the sequel of the ff where we cud finally switch characters in/out the party MID-BATTLE n use ALL characters!) they mite as well not even make the game at all for me, they will have destroyed the ffx legacy at that point in my eyes. The story & gameplay will have to be as serious or more serious than ffx, worthy of being a sequel to ffx- unlike the story & gameplay of ffx-2. they opened up the story to countless possibilities it wud b a sin for them to create the next installment without a thorough and enticing story & gameplay that gives us chills while we're breaking night playing, with some gud spooky music frm the genius brain of Uematsu to reli set off those goosebumps! And if they DARE bring in any modernization such as machine-looking aeons (like the espers of ffxii) or take away from the magical essence of spira that wud ruin ffx's legacy as well. They need to stick w the roots of ffx & wat made it a masterpiece.

Tbh I don't understand people who want a Braska's prequel. Like that might as well be FFX remade, only you probably play as Jecht (FA form) and Auron at the end of the game. But we already know what exactly happens. A 1000-year ago prequel would be awesome and nearly a wholly new game, and they can work a lot with that (including adding some older characters that were in X/X-2).

Watching the 1st part and listening to the audio as you advised it, it made me realize that its not a bad story at all, the additional scenes makes sense even the part where Yuna returned as a summoner. At first, I only read infos about the additional scenes and I don't like it too especially the part where Yuna and Tidus are having relationship problems and Yuna pushing him away but because of this, it does make sense now and I want this to be materialize as x-3 coz I'm curious what happens next after the audio. And if ever they make it I think they can make it as a happy ending for Yuna and Tidus coz I think that's what the majority wanted even after this conflict. For the returning part, I want Lenne and Shuyin to return with a big role coz Lenne is my favorite character in x and she only appeared briefly in the game so I want her as a party member or something. Thank you for enlightening me on that. And, oh, I don't hate Chuami, she's like our representative, questioning the story or the characters bluntly. 👍😃

I could definitely get into this because i like the concept of the novella and audio. Seems like the secret arts could have been purposely forgotten so the summoners could be kept in check plus it seems like summoners never stayed alive long enough to grow their power to that point. Yuna was the first to defeat sin and live. So its fair to say shed be on a whole new level. I see it ending with yuna either having to send tidus to fix her mistakes or both of them dying with yuna being an anchor of holding spirits to the farplane

I think the main reason some people felt bringing back Sin undid FFX, and I am along with these people, is because of what Sin himself stood for. Bringing back a villain is one thing... bringing back a villain that's terrorize a world for 1000 years is another. For example, not too many people complain about bringing back Sephiroth... but they chose Sin and I'll explain in detail why that wasn't the best decision.
The point of defeating Sin in FFX was to defeat him forever, to end it for good. And despite ALL odds they do. THIS alone is why bringing him back is a bit disparaging with the whole point of FFX's story to breaking the cycle, freeing Spira from its spiral of death. Sin is a physical manifestation of that cycle, he is the spiral. Defeating him releases it's grip on Spira so it can move on & move forward from it's stagnation.
The whole point of FFX-2, is about the world moving on from its huge scar, to remember no matter what they were all Spirans, and thanks to the Eternal Calm they can work on the unison they needed... Except it wasn't eternal. Bringing Sin back negated that & Yuna's Calm ended up being shorter than Braska's(her around 5 years to his 10). The Yevoners are more than likely going to get cocky & out of the fear of the new Sin are going to look for someone to blame & are going to point at the denizens who moved on too soon & didn't stay faithful. You end up with FFX's plot all over again with FFX-2's political drama. In the Audio drama the Yevoners can get violent as they speared through Chaumi's mom like a sish kabob.... She got Aerith in Chaumi's face(no wonder she has such a disdain for Yevoners).
Spira can't get out of it's cycle, and while that makes for a compelling story angle... it also defeats the purpose of breaking the cycle the first time. It would take HUGE story developments & massive world building just to make this Finale end on peaceful & certain note, as I would imagine after so many "Sin's really gone this time", Spirans probably wouldn't know if it's really over even upon defeat.

You know speaking of 15 I am curious .
Now according to the map Bahamut , Titan, Ramuh, Levaithan are all to the far right of the Cleigne region where the The Rock of Ravagtoh is. This is important to note. because Rock of Ravagtoh, In the gladio dlc there was a loading screen that says it is where Bahamut took Ifrit .And that is where Ifrits body is to this day.
He died and was placed there which is west of Taelpar Crag . He is seprated even in death from the other Astrals all but Shiva. Shiva is an astral who is fond of humanity and acts as a foil to Ifrit. In M.E. 745, she awoke in the form of an ice giantess in the desert plains surrounding Gralea, the capital of Niflheim. Shiva led an assault on the Empire, but she was felled by its magitek infantry resulting in an environmental anomaly: the desert transformed into a vast tundra trapped in a perpetual snowstorm.
We see Gralea is further west but a skip hop and jump away from Rock of Ravagtoh. which I found more curious as to why every other Astral takes up residents to the right of Taelpar Crag. Even Altissa is far to the right of this place. Why is it only Shiva on the opposite side of it. Why specifically Shiva. I know why Ifrit is there. Is it because of her love of humanity. When the other Astral`s couldn`t give to fucks about humans.
Could it be that eos was the goddess we see depicted in the citdeel. was more then the name of the world noct lives on. Perhaps she loved humans and had a child by a mortal . And that is the reason as to why she is not longer able to be present to continue to bring dawn . If that is the case perhaps, Shiva felt pity for humans and Eos children. And although she did not like how Ifrit went about it. she pitied him and to show him how wrong he was to hate humans. Instead of damning him to solitude in Rock Ravahtoh. She stayed on his side in a way. But far enough away to show her dislike of his actions against humans
Now onto 10-3. I would be curious to see how it plays out. I did enjoy the audio drama. but I`m on edge if i want 10-3 or not. I mean i would love more 10. but also would be worried about how they execute it. I would kinda hope we could have aurons daughter in 10-3 if it ever happens. You know sin always come backs. is what some one says. it only goes away for a few years. and according to x-2 its only a few years after . we never were given a time frame for his re-spawn.

Chuami is a female auron, and that's exactly why people are offended by her behavior. And i am glad you see her for what she is, a wonderful character.

Chuami just doesn't fit into the story. Aurons been dead for 14 and a half years firstly.. and we know that until Aurons final days he was a typical stick in the mud, by the rules type of guy and not the type to father a load of bastards. Before he even became a guardian he was a devout follower of Yevon and lived an very honest and noble life by that religion... again not the type to have bastards- he wasn't even the drinking type judging by how spoke of Jetch when they first met. Hell I'd guess he may have even led quite a celibate lifestyle considering he was a dedicated monk in his younger years.
Then we know he only became a guardian after falling out of favor for not agreeing to an arranged marriage proposal set up by the Yevon Meisters (which just futher implies that Auron was single, unmarried and dedicated to his monk life).
To fit the timeline, not only would Auron had to have been a different character to the Auron we know he was just a few years later but he would have had to have done act at age 15, and had a daughter born by the time he was 16, with this unknown women, before leaving her a single mother and abandoning the child... to become a devout monk and yevon worshipper- the kind of person that wouldn't abandon a daughter. It just doesn't sound like an 'Auron' thing to do. Lulu is right to point this out and to point out he never ever mentioned it. Ignoring the fact that Auron spent the next 14 years never mentioning the woman or the child and that he spent a chunk of his life looking after both Braska and Jetchs kids while ignoring his own... You could argue that 'Auron didn't know!' but again... Auron was world famous just a few years after and throughout all of FFX... And he wasn't a 'ladies man'... it would have been easy to find the man who couldn't go anywhere in FFX without people recognising him as he was basically a celebrity... in this small and low populated world... it wouldn't have been hard to find him to let him know he had a daughter with the women who may have likely been the one who took his virginity and the only women who may have ever slept with... But neither the daughter nor the mother sought him out while he was alive or dead, instead they waited until he was dead again but for real this time.
Good old honest and true, devout yevon follower monk-Auron just happened to have a bastard child by the time he was 16 and never found out or did know and just abandoned his child... No...
Chuami is definitely Aurons daughter, but only retroactively and with disregard to Auron's character and backstory. I can see why people don't like it regardless of whether she herself is a likeable character.

Yuna is not in love with another guy. She told that to Tidus because Sin is back and she doesn't want to involve him again. And it's a coincidence that Kurgum reveals feel in love towards her at the same time that Yuna is talking with Tidus. Just to make us think that all is real. It is not a drama, that's what they want us to think... and then blow up our minds.
Hope that will be the truth.

I don't think we personally need a X-3, but I would love it either way. FF X and X-2 are my favorite FF's, so I wouldn't complain if they came out with a X-3. What I really do want though is a prequel about Jecht, Auron, and Braska especially showing how Jecht got to Spira and why.

tbh, i don't mind x-3 but i really believe it should be a prequel. because the game is perfect and crafted imo. We just really want Jecht's perspective in his journey with braska.

the reason why yuna lie about her affair is that the only way to defeat sin is the final aeon and that will going to take yuna life ! she know tisdus wouldnt allow that ! that is why lulu tell him to go after and should comfort her ! and why the sammuner name kurgum lie to his gf too ! because they are on there way to truly defeat sin!
so this time yuna going to have another mission ! oh god even the last page of the audio we can see the sketch adult yuna and tidus i assume ! if that so shut up and take my money ff x-3 confirm

this could be an awesome observance of humanity struggling with mortality and immortality. they could touch on all kinds of concepts from people who are just tired of being alive and people who want to remain with those they love forever only to find that love is not as endless as time. they could even play on the concept of Yuna becoming some kind of god that creates an alternate world and trying to understand the very purpose of life and making a place where humans can be happy forever, maybe even failing at it. it would match the narrative of final fantasy 10 very poetically from the destruction of religion to the power now being in the hands of humans trying to form a better world and all of the difficulty that comes with it, maybe even realizing that maybe things weren't so bad before.
I have also been thinking of how final fantasy has been branching out in regards to gameplay, story telling and visual beauty trying to find the sweet spot. 13 reduced the freedom while becoming much more visually beautiful and story driven.
15 removed much of the story telling aspects and focused on gameplay and freedom with even the ability to revert the entire world back after the end of the game in order to allow complete freedom.
even all of the other tactical games messing around with implementations of game style.
I feel like final fantasy is testing the waters and being very active in the community to find out all that people really want want they don't want and in general trying to reform their games for much more advanced technology where they are much more responsibility and power in crafting a world that can really become something bigger than just a video game.
I think it is a general truth for most artists and creatures that they wish that they're stories and creations can become more than simple stories to pass the time with, but stories that inspire change within all of society. I see no reason to doubt that creators of the magnificent final fantasy games that are enjoyed around the world would want anything less, and not only that have the ability and opportunity to do so, but in the "atheistic mindset" you've explained have the responsibility to do so. not for some god or for themselves but for humanity as a whole, to show it that you do not need god to be a good person and in fact being a good person to get into heaven does not in fact make you a good person if you would only do it for your own personal gain. no other story line could that be easier with than the one they seem to being setting up in these tid-bits. even more it would make more sense to do it with one of the best selling final fantasies of all time.
I could easily see X-3 becoming a complete destruction of final fantasy tradition maybe even drawing in characters that never even existed in Spira to help as it seeks to completely destroy the traditions held by humanity for thousands of years. it could be a Frankenstein like creation using years and years of market research and development practices before they even dared to take on such a colossal task. a "perfect" game that could draw in hundreds of millions people to hear the story they want to tell a story they hope will help humanity if not to give them the answers they need to at least help push us all along a little closer to seeing what we can do when we all work together.
This is all of course complete speculation based on a few things:
1: final fantasy games haven't been "tradition" final fantasy games since FF X, they obviously trying to find a way to recreate the franchise. which makes sense both business wise and creatively trying to find a niche or format for the future.
2: If anyone were to dream so big as to challenge to the religious norms across the world it would be Final Fantasy, they have seemed drawn to such narratives since even the early games, continuing to the present.
3: the modern political climate, with religions now serving as a primary way of separating people and now in relativity organized religions seem to be causing more strife around the world than good with religion being the #1 excuse for war and bloodshed, from Buddhists massacring villages, to Muslims using children as weapons of war, to Christians using religion to justify everything from racism to nationalism and opposing gay rights to bombing thousands of citizens over seas. many modern voices have been struggling to find a way to voice such things to the world and final fantasy even if it doesn't come out and say it could very easily write a narrative for humanity drenched in enough of the fantastical that it becomes much easier to swallow.
4: the weird game designs. just think about it, they have gone in weird directions with most of the latest games, basically leaving the story out of FF 15 or making it so distant like they are trying to seeing just how to convolute a story in the right way or maybe how to tell a story more subliminally than directly.
I have never played through the complete FF 13, but the combat system was very different and forcing you to be part of the story and removing a lot of the little freedoms and exploration instead giving this odd sense urgency was very different that previous games.
FF 12 on the other hand gave you expansive amounts of exploration so much so that for large portions of time you could wonder away and become completely disengaged with the story with the story being kind of unlike most other games, much simpler and less complex than previous stories. but every place in the game was extremely scenic and wandering through the streets of rabanastar really felt like you were just a little piece in the world and actually in the world.
it seems like FF is not focusing so much on creating the next grand final fantasy as much as it is trying to perfect certain aspects of game creation testing new angles and aspects and listening to the public to create something much better.
5: the possibilities implied by FF X-3 would give the philosophies displayed through out final fantasy games a perfect story telling landscape, Spira is a world lovingly created, covered in mystery, similar to earth in many ways while appearing drastically different, a place full of memories for many fans, and strong characters with even background characters being well written and dynamic.
at the end this really is just a dream, if any of this were real they would probably not make the FF15 mistake again and will wait to announce it once it's taken a form a they feel is amazing enough. what's more is that FFX-3 might not even be their Frankenstein creation it could end up being an entirely different game all together, or they could be far from finished with the actual testing of new system mechanics, considering they have bounced around so much recently it's not hard to see them wanting to make sure they have a good game, maybe even a shorter one that gets everything write all together before trying a much bigger challenge.
Any way, that's just wishing....wishful thinking

I think the only reason people dont like the way the new story could go is because of the delivery method and the pace at which the story was told. I firmly believe if they did this as a video short with proper direction they could make a mini movie with the novella and this audio story as great promo that would really sell a FF X-3 game, and they could expand the world of Spira and tie back to every previous high summoner mentioned in the game, and do all kinds of crazy stuff. They could expand the lore behind summoners before SIn, the war between Bevelle and Zanarkand, and some elaborate story behind why Yevon actually wanted the sin cycle to go, because of some greater evil sin could hold back. A re imagining of Spira with today's capabilities would create a bad ass, submursive game.

And it is confirmed that Auron has a daughter
In ffx on one of the Jecht spheres, Jecht says to Auron something about him having a little girl. And Auron says she will be fine she is strong like her mother.
So yeah. I also forgot about this because I only watched the Jecht spheres like once.

I'm not at all adverse to depressing endings like this, but I feel like after evverything the characters had been through they were given next to no dignity with what's happening now. Like there wasn't much to show for it and after 10/10-2 there really should have been
