I think it's a good plugin, but definitely not their best. more like a filler for current, rather than a bombass plugin in itself, because it doesn't have unusual parameters or highlevel macros (except for the style button). with that waveform view of the LFO and the voices visualization in the center you could easily imagine some workflows and features to customize the shape in which the voices are travelling to create some outstanding chorus sounds. pretty sure their thinking was just like "we need a chorus for our synth, but let's not spend too much time on it, because we have some more awesome projects to care about"
@@timferret7102 well, just look at the parameters. rate, depth, number of voices etc, that's not super unique, just like the idea to use sine waves to modulate something. it's reasonable, it sounds great, but it's not new. and that's unlike minimal audio. they typically make plugins where some parameters are massive macros of some underlying parameters, like the eq, where you can shift the frequencies of all filters at once, or skew them all together etc
some times its the simplicity & quality that matters the most.. I think personally as good as this sounds & it's a chorus after all & not an effects lab! but you make a really strong point! When I compare this chorus to say ImpOSCar3 synth engine its severely lacking.. I mean it cant even generate a tone!!!!! & for $49 thats just too much considering the ImpOSCar3 is only a $100 & it can do so much more! & I wont even go there comparing it to Omnisphere...
@@fallenleaf24 i'm not talking about features that extend the realms of chorus modulation but things that would easily fit, like different patterns of the voices
glad to see some good positive feedback on these amazing plugins!
& them being used in a real use case
Seems that filter is post FX, or can we choose pre / post?

I think you overthink it, it's a chorus. Do you really have anything to compare it to that they made before? I mean chorus wise.

@@timferret7102 You never compare your distortion, synth plugins with your chorus plugins? Crazy!
