Great overview thank you, and it is a great synth just from what I've seen here, but the synth should be sold separately from the cloud subscription IMO, I have an Arcade subscription at the moment, but just to test it out see if it's worth it going forward, not over keen on subscriptions in general, I think companies would generate more sales if they sold expansions or cloud based content separately, giving people the option to pick and choose the things they think they will use
@@waveform-synths I like Arcade, but at least half of the collection is not not something I will use in the music genre I create, it would be better if you could pick them individually and only pay for what you want to use. yes I like the pay monthly with option to buy.
Awesome piece of software, but subscription model makes this a HARD NO. Imagine investing all the time in designing your own patches, using them in tracks and albums, and years later being no longer able to use them or load up your old tracks if you decided to cancel the subscription for any reason. But seeing how much they accentuate their content library, it looks like this thing is targeted more towards hobbyist, jammers and streamers, not actual professional producers who care about things like being able to access their projects for remixing, remastering, etc. years later.

All great points - I tried out Arcade too... Kilohearts seem to have the balance about right, a pay monthly service with an option to buy...

If you buy the Current package it comes with 3 plug ins and a free year of cloud. Free hybrid filter that’s only free this weekend.
Thank you for you videos.
Can you do more content for the MODX synth. Awesome
Thank you... I've sold my MODX, so there won't be videos in the future for that, but there will be FM related content...
poor minimal audio, they think they can get away with the subscription nonsense , not learning from waves mistake , rip

You get a free year of cloud now. And waves doesn’t have to be a subscription either.
This synth is very similar to Arturia Pigments
subscription they can keep their plugin, nice video though.

It’s a No, they have to readdress their pricing model or everyone will boycott this synth
