They're all casuals & glory hunters, that's why. The vast majority of them only started supporting United because they were winning things under Fergie. They didn't sign up for the hardship and disappointment of being a real football fan. My uncle was at the famous 3-0 win over Barcelona in the cup winners cup under Ron Atkinson, my mum and dad were at the 99 final. And I've been to at least one game every season for 20 years (from 02/03 to 21/22), except for the 20/21 season when we weren't allowed, until I moved to Australia.

I have to disagree. Yes it’s been a poor start in terms of results BUT the performances have been good aside from Liverpool. We’re playing a much higher line and holding onto possession a lot better and actually creating a lot of chances, none of which we did last season. We are FINALLY seeing a style of play now that we have most of our squad healthy and if we keep creating as many chances as we are, the goals WILL come and we’ll start to dominate games. We aren’t fully there yet but we always said it would be a 3-5 year plan with Ten Hagg when we hired him. I’m not too worried about the results YET, but they definitely must improve.
So if he finish outside of top 4 you still want utd to keep him?
Rashford was poor in league that 1 goal was all he did all season and even in that game. He scored 2 goals against a lower league side. He's not good enough and he's lazy too and doesn't track back

I’m 2 minutes in and the points are crazy already.. Context is required in all of those games we have dropped points, Palace we created a plethora of chances in which if we played that 9/10 times we win. Brighton, we controlled the whole game minus 15 minutes of the game, another day that offside goal doesn’t hit zirkzee and we win that game. Liverpool although our one pool display this season, we created huge chances in that game again, while all 3 of their goals coming from mistakes, 2 of which from casemiro (who now has been dropped). Rory you’re normally quite articulate when it comes to videos like this but it just feels like you have ignored all context for no reason?
If you are going to emphasize context, you have to at least show signs of accuracy. When you do, you will also realize that Ten hag should be gone a long time ago.

As for ten Hag, i would give him until next season as Arteta had 3 full seasons before you saw any improvement on Arsenal. Sorry? The man's won two trophies in two years. I get we were awful last season in the league, but... no Martinez, Varane, Shaw, Casemiro, Mount and Hojlund for lengthy spells over a season and having to replace them with the likes of Maguire, Evans, Lindelof and McTominay is going to affect a team. He's lowered the average age of the squad, brought through two of the best academy prospects we've seen in decades, gotten rid of the poor attitudes, dealt with the shitshow that is United at board room level... and still won two trophies.
I don't think any manager bar Pep/Klopp/Ancelotti does a better job with the same situation. And that includes Arteta and Pochettino, who don't know what it feels like to lift a trophy.

In Ten Hags first season, we ended 3rd and won the Carabao Cup. We did not play good football, we had fine margins and it was Ten Hags first season, so the results were absolutely satisfying.
In his second year we ended 8 th(Worst PL season ever), we were out completely of Europe before christmas and stumbled through to win the FA Cup.
We are soon in october in his 3rd season, we have spend 650 million under him and steady at 11th in PL: The bad run in Europe continues.
You blame injuries last season : Well, Chelsea, Lpool, Newcastle and Spurs all ended behind United in ETH first season, and last season they had about the same amount of injuries like United, but all finished above United.
What player has really improved under Ten Hag, : Marcus, Bruno, Casemiro, Sancho, AWB, Anthony, Mount, Eriksen....The list is endless. Dalot has improved from bang average to average, thats about it.
So, what does this tell you about the development under Ten Hag ?

Regardless of the results this far, every genuine person with proper football knowledge can see the progress in the team. Man Utd has missed 17 big chances this season, the most in the league thus far this season, that is progress. United has been playing beautiful and possession style with identity, that is progress. We have better squad depth and more technically gifted players this season, that is progress.

Avoid injuries (which killed us last year) keeping players fresh. AG is in better form than rashford atm and Ten Hag can only play one on the left at a time. If your playing a game every 3 or 4 days. If ya start one game and are on the bench to come on for 20 or 30 minutes. But deal! It's giving both players the same treatment! Why ain't yous complaining about pep rotating his team???
