Great tutorial, thank you so much for also explaining the reason behind every step in a bit more detail! It really helps.
This was SO good, really helped me understand workflow better. Plus super cute result, I want to try!
Love this short but informative tutorial, thank you for sharing!! Would really appreciate a followup tutorial on a basic light setup and the smooth gradient texturing on your monkey character to achieve a similar still render 🙏!!
This is the Best Character modeling technique tutorial. Pls keep on sharing. Thank you ❤

I really liked that, Thank you so much
this is gold baby! thanks!
Thank you for the amazing tutorial! I've never thought about using the Spline Wrap when modeling a Character. I have one question. I added one more(total 6) null object as a controller and loop cuts making the tail part, but it is not smooth enough like yours. Any advise or tip for me?
Cool! Thank you!;) good job!
Fantastic!
nice work!
Nice Rig!!! i have to try it!!!!

Thanks a lot ❤
is there a tool to export a sprite-sheet in horizontal 360 by 22,5 and vertical 180 by 45 to get 20x5 sprites ? thx
Great video :)
This is amazing but I wish you shared your materials process.
More like this ??
please how can i get the reference to follow along?
Wow
I love cartoon character style
It looks awesome but which material you use what are the value?
Same question :(
I have attached a project file to the lesson. You can find all the material settings (in fact, this is a regular gradient ramp) and lighting setup.
But if you are interested in this topic at all, then I could record a separate video on materials and 'look development.'
@@vlbrsk that would be very interesting!
@@vlbrsk thank you, i am waiting to learn, always supporting you
@@vlbrsk Can you make separate video materials and 'look development'?. That be really helpful.😊
Побольше таких уроков.
Будут в скором времени)
@@motiondesignschool Вы крутые)))
i did a few of these figures in blender... it took me very long because im new to blender... im not sure if i should use blender again or should try cinema4d...
You can try both and choose the one that suits you best. Depends from what you need to do
I haven't had any issues up until I got to the Shrink Wrap deformer, when I move the target into the deformer properties nothing happens, I haven't strayed from the tutorial and my settings seem to be the same as your so not sure why this is happening ://
I just figured it out! I have no idea why this works but if anyone runs into this issue I made the shrink wrap deformer a child of the subdivision surface then made the target the "body" polygon instead of the subdivision surface
@@colabearrr I had similar problem as well. My solution was to connect objects and delete, then it worked.
Очень круто
nice nice nice...
Thanks for the video but the Dropbox link to get the sources on your website doesn't work ;( (404 error)
Sorry for the problem!

This looks easier than blender 😁😁😁
The project file link does not send an email (after filling out the form) with the link nor does it redirect to a page to download or download the file directly. Is it possible to fix the download function from the URL shown above.
Hey! Check the link again :)
How about a tutorial on creating a device and then embedding footage on it's screen?
I don't get the email for the project files after I input it. I have waited days now and I haven't recieved anything :'(
I had the same problem but just ended up taking a screen shot of the video to get the monkey image
Спасибо что объяснил, по акценту сразу и не поймёшь что русский)

why its hard for Russian people to pronounce "THE" they say "ZE" instead !
There are sounds in English that are entirely absent in Russian. Russian-speaking people cannot pronounce them without making a lot of effort or without exercising for a long time. However, in Russian, too, there are many such sounds. It's often pretty funny to watch Americans play Russians in movies.
Your remark is correct; I will work on the pronunciation and hope to surprise you soon pleasantly :)
@@vlbrsk cool i hope you improve soon , i'm glad you take it positively :)
its was just a question out of curiosity
sometimes you see or hear something and you question why its happening that's it thanks for the explanation and the tutorial tho
@@vlbrsk Your pronounciations are good.

Привет! Работаем над этим
@@motiondesignschool Это радует!)
You model is great but you skip a LOOOOOT of information in what are you doing. And also, for me, not an exactly a english native, your english is impossible for me to understand.... But good work tough....!
bad pronunciation and learn speed is so fast.
this video is for beginners... right?!
Bro if your going to make a fuckinf tutorial atleast don't use any short cut keys simple as that. You are making a video tutorial for beginners. Im here replaying and tryna see wtf yu clicked even when i slow the play back speed 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Awesome!
