*Loki* *2x6* *Glorious* *Purpose* 🔁 So they named it exactly like the very first episode as if it's a time loop? And this was like the Groundhog Day/Edge of Tomorrow episode that some of us theorized? Loki is now the God of Time? It felt like a *series* finale and what a way to end it without having any collateral damage except Loki. It's Loki's Iron Man in Endgame moment. Loki has only confirmed to me again it's my favorite MCU project ever made. I personally wish this is it. This is the end. They make a Season 3, and they can ruin it like Mando S3 did to the 2x8 finale. I wanted it to focus on Loki since he's the titular character and they did that. For me, the greatest twist was seeing He Who Remains again and Loki outsmarting him. Thought that entire sequence with HWR was great. I really don't know what more I can say about this episode? It ends like Michael Jordan hitting a game winner in Utah for a championship in 1998 and riding off into the sunset.. until he came back 3 years later to play in DC and 1998 was no longer his fairytale ending. I finally watched Killers of the Flower Moon and Priscilla earlier and while they're both good films, Loki's S2 finale was far more pleasing to watch. I do believe if Loki does really end after two seasons, we still have the opportunity to see many of these characters and the TVA in future MCU projects. Miss Minutes is reborn. Renslayer is in the Void and it's still up in the air what her fate is. Where's Victor during the final minutes? Cool to see two variants of Kang in the same episode. The irony that Loki ends the day The Marvels comes out. Opposite spectrums in quality. 1. 2x6 Glorious Purpose 2. 2x4 Heart of the TVA 3. 1x4 The Nexus Event 4. 1x5 Journey Into Mystery 5. 1x1 Glorious Purpose 6. 1x6 For All Time. Always. 7. 2x3 1893 8. 2x1 Ouroboros 9. 2x5 Science/Fiction 10. 1x2 The Variant 11. 2x2 Breaking Brad 12. 1x3 Lamentis 1. Loki 2. Mobius 3. O.B. 4. Victor Timely 5. Classic Loki 6. Miss Minutes 7. Renslayer 8. He Who Remains 9. Sylvie 10. Casey In Science/Fiction, I didn't feel any of the cast were friends. But in the finale when we see Mobius and Sylvie talking outside his home for a minute, it did feel like they were friends. And B-15 grew on me. She seems like a cool and reliable character. Loki sacrificed himself like Classic Loki did. The line that always stuck with me is what Renslayer said in 1893... "I put the TVA above myself. Even at the costs of my own happiness." That line kept looping in my head BEFORE I saw the finale. It's foreshadowing at what Loki would become. I just love how Gugu said TVA. The last syllable was hearing a millisecond of regret for working her ass for it for eons. Renslayer became a great character and I hope to see more of her in other MCU projects not titled Loki. After the finale, I personally don't want a Loki Season 3. I wouldn't mind an S3 because I love the characters and TVA but why not end it on top? The longer it goes, the more diluted it becomes. Some great projects needs to end. Show the words THE END like in Back to the Future Part III. Don't milk it for two more sequels that Indiana Jones did. Put a bow on Loki 🎀. Kevin Wright revealed in an interview with Collider. "I would say Season One and Season Two were developed and created as, like, kind of two chapters of the same book. We felt pretty strongly, all of us involved, that Season Two was about closing that book but that there are many other books on the shelf for this character and for this world. But this felt like it wanted to be the conclusion of these great things that we set up in Season One. We don't want to constantly leave people with drastic cliffhangers for our finales." We know how Disney works. They're capable of milking anything for money and then burning everything to the ground that was once great. They can still revisit Loki in 5 years after Secret Wars is released. Or perhaps do tons of spin-offs. But TV ratings were so low like Andor, it might be like Freaks and Geeks which didn't last long. If Loki 2x6 Glorious Purpose truly is THE END for the series, I will still loop 🔁 all 12 episodes constantly. It's my favorite TV show since peak Family Guy or perhaps since early 90s Married... with Children circa Season 5. Loki became my most favorite thing for TV in 30 years. It's my Back to the Future/Bill & Ted of the 2020s. 🕒🆗i For All Time. Always.

It's amazing how they tied Loki right back into the Norse mythology and the Tree of Life. His Glorious Purpose is an ultimate sacrifice since he has to constantly grasp and control of the timelines. It reminds me of Atlas and how he's destined to carry the Earth. I just thought he would be walking around managing the TVA, but never imagined the outcome!

The impact of what Loki did is that now it isn’t predetermined that He Who Remains will win the Multiversal War like before. Now when the war starts, the heroes will have a chance to eliminate all the Kang variants and end the loop.
and how can Mobius live his life now? After all, there is already another Mobius/Don in that timeline... will he kill him and take his place? :D After all, only Loki can travel through time so many questions, so few answers
16:00 is the world tree Yggdrassil in Norse mythology, the world tree! Just a nod to the characters origin/roots, Thor also had the world tree on his t shirt in Love and Thunder with his rock outfit
@@shanzhi3184 Imagine, that would actually be awesome. But I fear we won‘t be getting any of it. A Dr Strange, Wanda, Loki get together would be incredible, but what on earth happened to Wanda? As far as I know, Elizabeth Olsen won‘t return. Loki an Thor meeting after the Loki series would be insane too. Thor seing how far Loki has come. And a meetup with Loki and the OG avengers would be great too. And of course all the scientists and Loki, now that he knows like literally everything. (Like Tony, Bruce and I don‘t know, Shuri? Eventhough they never met, an I don‘t even know what will happen after Black Panther 2) What did you think of Wakanda Forever btw?
It was said in episode 1 of season 1. Loki always loses so everyone else can be the best versions of themselves. This time, his loss was not being able to be with his friends so that they, and everyone else, can live on. So poetic and sad.
the fact that he always wanted friends and he didn’t want to be alone now he has to be alone to save them all. I hope this is the last season. it’s good this way.
I'm wondering what happened to the version of Victor Timely who was already in the TVA? Did they delete him or clear his memory? This episode is both the end and the beginning of Kang's reign. Now his version will have to somehow unite with Ravonna like Loki and Sylvie, defeat the TVA, kill Loki and sit on his throne. And perhaps this is exactly the version of Victor Timely who is an adult and was in TVA, when Loki went to destroy the machine
@@NoArmsSallyYou can change the past, but in Marvel it doesn't affect the future. For example, in the Mobius branch there is already an earthly version of him, where he never met Loki and stayed with his sons, but our Mobius, who was in TVA, didn't disappear anywhere, therefore, even though Victor didn't receive the book as a child, it doesn't affect the existence of the adult Victor who has already experienced it and was in TVA
@@m_a_l_e_f_i_c_abut it kinda affects the future, remember the scene with O.B. when Loki speaks with him in the past so he could make the artifact in present time, he also started having memories of talking with Loki in the past
This Loki isnt becoming the God Of Stories, this Loki is taking on the role of Atlez from marvel comics ( the multiversal custodian) keeping all of time bines together with his body
If I had to guess, I'd think this sort of sets up Loki as a multiversal Nick Fury. I'm pretty sure all of the blue and purple sparkling "foliage" on Loki's timeline woven Yggdrasil, is in fact the multiversal Kang war raging about.
He may seem alone at the end, but he certainly isn't gonna get bored. He can watch across all the universe, all the possibilities, from the start of the time till the end. Now there are two things here : 1. He has infinite time. 2. He is insanely smart, a god, knows magic personally taught by the greatest witch of Asgard (his and Thor's mother, Freya), and he already has spent centuries in learning and mastering the science and mechanics of the universe (when he was trying to save the loom.) He is gonna learn so much, get so wise and experienced and with time (idk even the concept of time holds here since he is now outside of time but for sake of argument let's assume) he is only gonna get so powerful and knowledgeable. Loki just became the God of the Multiverse, not just the God of Stories.
That time slip cycling to the earlier episodes to find the right time was so perfect it gives me a great picture to see how scenes similar will be playing out in Deadpool 3 as Deadpool time jumps!
Loki is the best Character (and now the most important) in the entire MCU, he found his purpose, keeping the Timelines intact, protecting his friends (and family), watching over everything as the God of Stories at the center of "Yggdrasil" His family, dead or alive would be so so proud as would his "sacred" self.
I can’t even put in to words how amazing this episode was, it was perfect in every way. The music was beautiful. Marvel has done very good with this one, poor Loki tho, he was destained to be alone 😢
PERFECTION! Loki pulling an Ultron infinity by staring the Watcher down as he himself now transcends into a multiversal God, The God of Stories was incredibly satisfying 😌 ❤️
that's the Norse tree of life in mythology pretty crazy to see in live action finally... but it's been in a few of the animated series that are also on Disney plus.. I remember in one episode ant man pulls the tree of life out of the roots to reset... also remember annoying birds in the tree..lol . Yeah I didn't expect to see that at all it's a little different for the mcu , I always thought the tree of life was near or in Asgard but they never really specified
Of all the Disney+Marvel shows I have watched, this is the only show that broke away from the MCU formula. There is no grand battle in the final episode. Just a good old fashioned resolution to the whole series.
THANK YOU!!!! Finally someone said it in a reaction! I felt these last couple episodes were the closest we will ever get to seeing Tom play the doctor and i loved it! if these writers can just hop over to doctor who now that would be fantastic!
Can we also talk about how genius it is that the first episode of season 1 and the last episode of season 2 are both titled “Glorious Purpose”? What a beautiful ouroboros.
Loki always wanted that golden throne to be loved and worship and gace "friends" and never feel lonely. Now he is a true God king cause that throne and crown of horns is his burden...😥😥😥😭😭😭😭
In the end, Loki braves the time storm and morphs back into a god, or rather a new kind of god, destroying the loom and carrying the multiverse timelines literally on his back to a resting place, a throne nestled inside a cosmic tree that is very much Yggdrasil, the World Tree. Similar to how Odin hung from Yggdrasil to gain wisdom...interesting parallel
I couldn't watch this until I watched the episode. 💚 I was floored. Just when I didn't think I could love Loki or Tom more.... they step it up 💯 fold!! He was right all along. He has always been Burdened with Glorious Purpose. 😢 He has become he who remains. 💔
Nice video. I watched the entire series and I actually enjoyed it. A few times I got lost but after awhile I got it. lol I like how Loki changed his image and how he thinks since the beginning.
When his outfit changed I kinda knew but seeing it all made me cry too. I couldn’t help but feel joy but sad in what he had to do to keep all safe. Amazing series and we really lucked out with Tom Huddleston as Loki
Agree with the wrap up. Disney need to take some huge risks with the stories. Its no coincidence that the highest rated movies and shows have left the stakes wide open, and not necessarily ended in the heroes favour.
Loki got his throne which he thought was what he wanted most but as we learned he wanted his friends, to be with them more then anything. But he knew the only way to give them a chance to live, he had to sacrifice ever seeing them again (in person) for all eternity and despite finally having his throne, he had to spend all of eternity by himself holding all infinite timelines intact.
Loki's final shot before the credits felt ~incredibly~ bittersweet to me. To me, Loki's expression looked like he was happy that he saved his friends and the timeline(s) but also sad, as if it were a farewell to the MCU and us, his fans. I don't know if he'll never be back, if he's now retired with the MCU, but that's sure how it looked and felt to me. I hope he'll be back but, if not, thanks for the joy and thrills you've given us over the past twelve years Tom Hiddleston, aka Loki!💚

I was about to... very emotional especially with Mobius and Loki
9:59 these heads shakes are one of my favorite reactions
This was another great season of Loki. Really enjoyed watching y’all react to it.
:D After all, only Loki can travel through time
so many questions, so few answers
16:00 is the world tree Yggdrassil in Norse mythology, the world tree! Just a nod to the characters origin/roots, Thor also had the world tree on his t shirt in Love and Thunder with his rock outfit
absolutely loved the finale. i watched it twice
Loki has found Peace....
the music in this show is so incredibly emotional
I can't wait for Avenger's: Secret Wars when the Avenger's realize Loki has been protecting the multiverse this whole time, somehow :)
I hope something like that happens. Would love to see their reaction to Loki having become the protector of all
@@NoOne-xy2wnhe & Tony get get drunk & have amazing Theoretical Physics discussions…
Eventhough they never met, an I don‘t even know what will happen after Black Panther 2)
What did you think of Wakanda Forever btw?
And perhaps this is exactly the version of Victor Timely who is an adult and was in TVA, when Loki went to destroy the machine
technically he never happened, loki made it so they never gave him the book
@@kripidirI think that's because that O.B. was the same O.B. not a variant. Same O.B., same timeline, just in the past.
@@truthserum3050 it is really ambiguous tbf
This Loki isnt becoming the God Of Stories, this Loki is taking on the role of Atlez from marvel comics ( the multiversal custodian) keeping all of time bines together with his body
If I had to guess, I'd think this sort of sets up Loki as a multiversal Nick Fury. I'm pretty sure all of the blue and purple sparkling "foliage" on Loki's timeline woven Yggdrasil, is in fact the multiversal Kang war raging about.
Loki on his throne at the center of the World Tree.
For All Time. Always.
ive been watching all these reactions, was no one else violently sobbing for the entire second half of the ep.?
RIGHT
Same!! I'm watching reactions like...am _I_ weird?
😢
I was trying not to wake my client up…
The moment Loki started walking on the gangwalk, and then his cloak came out, I couldn't breathe right
You are soft
He now rules above...but still always...alone.
He may seem alone at the end, but he certainly isn't gonna get bored. He can watch across all the universe, all the possibilities, from the start of the time till the end.
Now there are two things here :
1. He has infinite time.
2. He is insanely smart, a god, knows magic personally taught by the greatest witch of Asgard (his and Thor's mother, Freya), and he already has spent centuries in learning and mastering the science and mechanics of the universe (when he was trying to save the loom.)
He is gonna learn so much, get so wise and experienced and with time (idk even the concept of time holds here since he is now outside of time but for sake of argument let's assume) he is only gonna get so powerful and knowledgeable.
Loki just became the God of the Multiverse, not just the God of Stories.
He's practically the God of Watchers at this point.
He literally turned the Timelines into Yggdrasil - World's Tree.
That time slip cycling to the earlier episodes to find the right time was so perfect it gives me a great picture to see how scenes similar will be playing out in Deadpool 3 as Deadpool time jumps!
This was peak Marvel.
I got teary eyed when i watched the ep's ending and everytime I watch the reactions. LoL
Loving the Loki fashions in these reacts 👏💚
Freaking love this episode
Loki is the best Character (and now the most important) in the entire MCU, he found his purpose, keeping the Timelines intact, protecting his friends (and family), watching over everything as the God of Stories at the center of "Yggdrasil"
His family, dead or alive would be so so proud as would his "sacred" self.
"I need a Loki Who Remains," from ep 1 hits even better now. 😏
I can’t even put in to words how amazing this episode was, it was perfect in every way. The music was beautiful. Marvel has done very good with this one, poor Loki tho, he was destained to be alone 😢
Thats why the time stone is GREEN!!
Man....what a finale
Poetry!
PERFECTION! Loki pulling an Ultron infinity by staring the Watcher down as he himself now transcends into a multiversal God, The God of Stories was incredibly satisfying 😌 ❤️
When was the watcher in it?
@@Bruceisthemask He's referring to the What If episode involving Ultron.
@@Bruceisthemask He was in the rip in space time that appeared when Loki was ascending to even more god hood and walked off into time
that's the Norse tree of life in mythology pretty crazy to see in live action finally... but it's been in a few of the animated series that are also on Disney plus..
Loki is now the God of Stories.
Absolute Peak Marvel! Every Phase 4 movie wishes it were half as good as these two seasons of Loki.
THANK YOU!!!! Finally someone said it in a reaction! I felt these last couple episodes were the closest we will ever get to seeing Tom play the doctor and i loved it! if these writers can just hop over to doctor who now that would be fantastic!
Loki went from trying to genocide a species to choosing an eternity of solitude to save all life in the multiverse.
Loki god of saving marvel universe his glorious purpose is save mcu
I don't think loki is free to travel anywhere he wants, he has to stay at the center of it because he's the new time loom.
But.. we've established that he can make duplicates of himself! He could use that power to his advantage and show up when needed.
When I watched the episode I somehow totally missed the timelines forming to look like a tree at the end, that's such an awesome touch.
Man i wish this version of loki meet thor,he will be so proud
This was the most incredible ending .
Now, loki is the above all of timeline.. he knows everything all now
“For you. For all of us.”
Loki (2023)
Thor (2011)
Can we also talk about how genius it is that the first episode of season 1 and the last episode of season 2 are both titled “Glorious Purpose”? What a beautiful ouroboros.
thor will be so proud of his brother 💯💯🙏
He has become he who remains. 💔
Y'all are so quick!
His purpose and his burden is keeping the timelines alive he literally can't let go of them or everything dies
Incredible episode. After I watched it, I had to watch it a second time. Then wait around for reaction videos to stop dropping. :)
In the scene at the end with Mobius and Sylvie the sun behind them had a gold & green glow to it.
To me, it showed that Loki was looking in on them.
Wow, this one episode did what like 20 movies and shows couldn't, it made me excited for the future of the MCU
“You are alone, and you always will be” from season 1, god damn.
Loki could be the Oatu who “assembles” a new group of Avengers from across the multiverse to defeat Kang.
Nice video. I watched the entire series and I actually enjoyed it. A few times I got lost but after awhile I got it. lol I like how Loki changed his image and how he thinks since the beginning.
The 8 year old boy Mobius was to prune was a variant of HIS boy!! That is why he subconsciously hesitated. The boy that was playing with matches.
When his outfit changed I kinda knew but seeing it all made me cry too. I couldn’t help but feel joy but sad in what he had to do to keep all safe. Amazing series and we really lucked out with Tom Huddleston as Loki
For a few seconds I wondered if they were gonna merge him with the Nightmare character, but then I realized that didn't make sense.
He only got the throne after honestly saying, “The last thing I want is a throne.”
13:42 that scene was perfect
Agree with the wrap up. Disney need to take some huge risks with the stories. Its no coincidence that the highest rated movies and shows have left the stakes wide open, and not necessarily ended in the heroes favour.
LOKI has "Big Bendy Horns" energy...
Loki is the best
he saves the multiverse and the TVA
loki will be the watcher
Loki got his throne which he thought was what he wanted most but as we learned he wanted his friends, to be with them more then anything. But he knew the only way to give them a chance to live, he had to sacrifice ever seeing them again (in person) for all eternity and despite finally having his throne, he had to spend all of eternity by himself holding all infinite timelines intact.
Loki, former God of Mischief, now Guardian of the Branched Timelines....
...The God of Stories.
You either die a villain or live long enough to see yourself becoming a hero.....
Rennslayer will def be back. That look on her face says "I'm not afraid of you" to Alioth.
Loki Journey is one of the best. He have a trone now. And saving multiples timelines, the best character development in MCU.
